The Aircraft Systems and Testing Establishment (ASTE) is an elite organisation of not only the Indian Air Force, but is counted among the best such organisations in the world. The establishment is at the forefront of innovation in the IAF both in thought and action. ASTE has been a torchbearer for ‘Atmanirbharta’ even before the term became a buzzword. The establishment has tested both aircrafts of various types and the plethora of systems that go into them before they reach frontline pilots. Ensuring that the IAF’s Top Guns are kitted out for any contingency.
