As a Kid Cudi fan, the amount of joy and empathy you feel watching someone listen to Kid Cudi songs for the first time and genuinely love and vibe to it… it’s amazing.
I love how far your dad has come. From the original sit down and jokingly got defensive to how cudi was there for you like no one else could be. And now Cudi is there for him like no one could be. I’m happy he gets it and it also is apart of him now.

The comfort he brings into life is amazing. I lost my dad at a young age like Cudi did. I think that’s part of why I feel that connection to Scott. Its so cool to watch you guys get that same feeling Cudi brings me. Watching you 2 connect through music kinda makes me feel like I’m not missing out on as much as I usually am. Keep being you. Been a Cudi fan since hearing of this guy my age coming up in Cleveland (I’m about 30 min south) MOTM 1 hit my life at the perfect time when I was in college and dealing with life issues. This album hit the exact same way when I was going through a divorce and being a dad. His music has literally been there for me my whole adult life .

Been waiting two months for this one! To me the album is in 3 parts: Beautiful Trip- Show Out encompass substance abuse to mask feelings he is trying to get away from. Solo Dolo - Lovin Me encompass learning to handle the emotions with his own devices and acceptance of himself by facing his demons instead of masking them. Pale Moonlight - Lord I Know encompass acceptance of his problems and overcoming them. A real heroes journey that altogether wraps up the themes in Man On the Moon 1-3
People say show out doesn’t fit this album and I can’t stand it man. It fits the rest of the blissful thematic trap bangers that signify running away from your problems using forms of escapism.
This is the greatest album ever made. Once you understand why Kid Cudi created this album it gives it a whole new purpose and meaning. Cudi really grew into himself, by far his best work.
I think this album was very confusing for people when it dropped because the first half has a lot of trap influence, but I think it’s aging beautifully. I really love this album, and I suspect it’s only going to get better over time

What he said about lovin' me was exactly what i thought the first time i listened to this album. You guys need to do punisher by phoebe, one of my all time favorite albums. Phoebe and Cudi both have such a way with lyrics that make their songs so relateable.

Probably one of the if not the best trap album of all time. Cudi really invented a distinct sound for this album that you wont find anywhere outside this record.
I think it’s a great album but I don’t think defining it by trap feels right. It’s more like an evolved cudi. Just not really in comparison with like rodeo and ds2.
