I am just starting to work out and I love glute bridges, I do them with reisstance bands but I don’t know if that is enough or not to grow my booty quickly since I’ve never worked my muscles before maybe that’ll work even if I don’t use weights right off the bat? What do you recommend?
That’s a great starting point. 😃 Stay with body weight & resistance bands till you master the movements and can do 12 reps x 3 sets. Then if you’re comfortable, add some weights. With weights, you’ll start at 8 reps and build your way up to 12 before increasing weights / reps. As always, your health and safety is the #1 priority so really listen to your body and check with your doctor if you have any concerns 💕 ily

THIS WORKS OMG HEAR ME OUT, i watched this video on april 24th, and its now may 1st. i did 100 glute bridges a day and noticed results so quickly, i noticed yesterday when i was just looking in the mirror and realized i actually had a butt😭😭 i dealt with insecurities about my butt for so long, im telling you DO GLUTE BRIDGES, i added some additional exercises onto it after a fee days such and 30 donkey kicks and 30 fire hydrants. but if you’re insecure and want quick results, do glute bridges. you got this!!🤟🏼❤️
I've been doing 100 glute bridges everyday for 4 days now and I swear I can clearly see the difference. It's getting bigger but of course the first 2 days were hard, my butt was really sore the next morning lol but I tell you guys it really works like magic.

I also recommend biking. It might just be me, but I started biking and it took me about an hour, but I unintentionally started growing my butt. try not to focus on the weight, focus more on the results you see. muscles does weight more than fat, so when you gain weight you will actually be gaining muscle in your butt and therefore it will get bigger :)

Been at my ideal weight for almost 3 years after loosing 56lbs. This is exciting! Right now I'm actually on a "cut". I decided I was going to drop 5 lbs below my ideal weight and then gain the 5 lbs back while getting adequate protein and building butt and ab muscles. When I lost my weight the butt went, haha. I'm 62. When I was young I was the "Brick House". I know the genetics are there. My young daughters got the butts.

From a PT: clench your butt before lifting into your bridge and only go as high as you can while your butt muscles are activated!! It will save your lower back! Also if your knees hurt during bridges you can do dorsiflexion (pick your toes up so your weight is on your heels) or walk your feet out a little. Hope this helps!!!
I’m so thankful I watched this. I’ve been getting so discouraged because I’ve been working out, eating healthy and losing weight. But the main place I’m losing weight at is my booty and I’ve been doing so many workouts to try and stop it. Shawna Williams Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. It's like saying apples weigh more than pears... There's no context. A lb of muscle and a lb of fat are very similar in size. Saying muscle weighs more than fat is one of those nonsensical workout phrases that are banded about despite being nonsense.
Essentially what is happening is, your fat is being replaced with muscle mass. In fact, you may end up just plain gaining weight or looking bigger because of the muscle growth but it’s all good things. Eventually the fat will shed and that muscle will reveal itself.
Anna Sangsokpa You can't "replace" fat with muscle either, another popular none fact that'll hear in gyms and from so called trainers, same goes for "turning fat into muscle". It takes a lot longer to gain/lose muscle than it does to gain/lose fat.

@@Journey1133 glute bridges do really help. i did glute bridges RELIGIOUSLY 2 yrs ago. i saw results after a week. not huge changes but definitely visible ones. i did them for a month and gave up and just got lazy. you just have to make sure to be eating enough and eat stuff with protein it it.

Kyo - Chan nope, the places where your fat will be stored isn't based on the food but your genetics, the reason of eating good carbs is because lower glycemic index and nutrition value, but if you will eat too much even good carbs or eat healthy and clean in general but still you will eat more than you burn you will gain fat

But squats target mainly quads. They are definitely not the best exercise for glutes. Weighted hip thrusts are scientifically proven to activate them the most.

In my opinion, hip thrust are more effective, because the position of the hip thrust put more down force on the gluteus maximum when you thrust up. When you do glute bridges you use your back more than when you do hip thrusts. That's just what I think, different exercises work better on different people
Hip thrusts are activators and butt bridges are pumpers. So that just means your body can recover faster with butt bridges, which means you can do it more often within a week.
I have recently changed my diet and increased my water intake to 4.4 L and I feel great! I workout for the first time yesterday and I’m glad I came across this so I know what not to do right away! I’m definitely taking this advice thank u💕

Maybe some people do have different genetics and would require different nutrition and workouts to obtain it. But there is no people in the world who CANNOT grow muscle. That would mean that from birth your muscle have stayed the same. And that’s simply just not possible. Everyone is different, consult with someone professional to learn and understand YOUR body and what it needs.

try not to focus on the weight, focus more on the results you see. muscles does weight more than fat, so when you gain weight you will actually be gaining muscle in your butt and therefore it will get bigger :)

@@libbyyyyyyy you need to make sure you eat enough protein for ur body weight. also start off using your own body weight, then add some weight using dumbbells or even a heavy item in ur house. resistance bands are good too. make sure your legs are far enough to feel the resistance

Been at my ideal weight for almost 3 years after loosing 56lbs. This is exciting! Right now I'm actually on a "cut". I decided I was going to drop 5 lbs below my ideal weight and then gain the 5 lbs back while getting adequate protein and building butt and ab muscles.
When I lost my weight the butt went, haha. I'm 62. When I was young I was the "Brick House". I know the genetics are there. My young daughters got the butts.

From a PT: clench your butt before lifting into your bridge and only go as high as you can while your butt muscles are activated!! It will save your lower back! Also if your knees hurt during bridges you can do dorsiflexion (pick your toes up so your weight is on your heels) or walk your feet out a little. Hope this helps!!!

Shawna Williams Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. It's like saying apples weigh more than pears... There's no context. A lb of muscle and a lb of fat are very similar in size.
Saying muscle weighs more than fat is one of those nonsensical workout phrases that are banded about despite being nonsense.
Essentially what is happening is, your fat is being replaced with muscle mass. In fact, you may end up just plain gaining weight or looking bigger because of the muscle growth but it’s all good things. Eventually the fat will shed and that muscle will reveal itself.
Anna Sangsokpa You can't "replace" fat with muscle either, another popular none fact that'll hear in gyms and from so called trainers, same goes for "turning fat into muscle".
It takes a lot longer to gain/lose muscle than it does to gain/lose fat.
Muscle doesn't "weigh more" it just takes up less space than fat at the same weight. 👍

@@Journey1133 glute bridges do really help. i did glute bridges RELIGIOUSLY 2 yrs ago. i saw results after a week. not huge changes but definitely visible ones. i did them for a month and gave up and just got lazy. you just have to make sure to be eating enough and eat stuff with protein it it.

lol... this is great. its actually on point. so many people waste their time at the gym with cardio. cardio eats muscle. we need to build muscle and grow the glutes-or any muscle. the best thing to grow glutes are compound moves. moves that incorporate several muscle fibers at once. LEG PRESS, dead lift, lunges, front squat, hack squat, and squat!

In my opinion, hip thrust are more effective, because the position of the hip thrust put more down force on the gluteus maximum when you thrust up. When you do glute bridges you use your back more than when you do hip thrusts. That's just what I think, different exercises work better on different people
Not only is your opinion but is also a fact, hip trust have shown to have the most glute activation of all of the exercises.
Hip thrusts are activators and butt bridges are pumpers. So that just means your body can recover faster with butt bridges, which means you can do it more often within a week.
Yep when I do hip thrust I feel more burn in my glutes than I feel in glute bridges
I have recently changed my diet and increased my water intake to 4.4 L and I feel great! I workout for the first time yesterday and I’m glad I came across this so I know what not to do right away! I’m definitely taking this advice thank u💕

That would mean that from birth your muscle have stayed the same. And that’s simply just not possible.
