Yes, the beggar's fatigue. Sadly Egypt is rife with it. So sad because the people are so nice. It's always been this way in Egypt. It's got an unbelievably corrupt dictatorship. Even on a tour you see the poverty, the injustice, and the animal cruelty. It's so evident in Giza. Best to stay anywhere other than Giza, and head down to the area just to see the pyramids. More interesting than Giza is Saqqara, and less intense. Go first thing in the morning. Hopefully you'll be going there. The museum at Saqqara is worth the trip! But good luck finding an affordable driver to take you there and back...or? Maybe through the guest house? Enjoy ~ By the way, Luxor and Aswan are also like this. :( Especially Luxor. Similar to Giza at the Hotel zone.
As an Egyptian you know nothing about us and googling for few minutes or staying for several days doesn’t even skim the surface. Without that “evil dictatorship” you wouldn’t be even able to walk down the street in cairo if you are a foreigner . So don’t make any judgments about our system of governance cause you know nothing. Secondly these beggars don’t do it cause of poverty. These guys easily make a 1000 egp a day which have the same purchasing power in egypt as $150 bucks U.S. they do it to both foreigners and locals and there are too many of them in these areas as a result of us removing our last “corrupt dictatorship” Most of these vids don’t even show 4/5 of greater cairo, they stay in the crappiest hotels and eat in the crappiest restaurants with non existent hygiene on the busiest streets. And here is the rule about cairo. The newer the neighborhood the more well of are the people the better organized and less crowded and the less the scammers. The “local atmosphere” is AKA for low to mid low income neighborhoods. There is zayed, 6th October, new cairo, madinty, maadi, zamalek, nasr city, madinat nasr, new giza, sherouk, obour, 10th ramadan. These area’s combined are 10 times as big as old town cairo and giza with 6 and 8 lanes roads, big malls, no honking orchestra and no scammers. @EGYPTIAN SCAM VIDEOS I guess you need to learn how to respect the people who you are talking with, or you don't understand English, because I do believe that you didn't understand what I have written, please use your mind just a bit.
I do not look for tourists, but I was trying to help anybody to not be got scammed, as any other person will do in his own country, I will give you an advice, just try to not abuse people that you don't know .

I don't know why people get so butt hurt over the truth. Just call a spade a spade. If the places has become a shite hole it's become a shite hole. Everybody is so friggin sensitive about the truth. The truth is the truth. 😀
Based on your video we stayed at #jimmypyramidsviewhotel and LOVED IT! Giza is a shithole but this hotel for the money is a treasure. The family/staff are amazing and we booked a tour guide for the day, who turned out to be the hotel owners Uncle Tito. Lovely lovely guy! Highly recommended!
We also took your recommendation and lunched at the Marriott Mena. Another winner!
We do agree re Giza but defo worth it to have that view in the morning!!! Glad it all worked out for you!👍♥️
@@dabbleandtravel that view was magical that’s for sure and the staff and the food amazing. I loved the hotel was in Giza because that’s why you travel, to experience things that are way different to your own. You come back home with a new appreciation for what you have 🙂

I know that you don't want to compare in your videos, but it looks the most tiring place comparing to other countries, even with Tunisia and Morocco

There are at least 20 incredible ancient ruins around the world that are older than the Egyptian pyramids. There are amazing ancient ruins in South America, Mexico, Turkey even in the United States we have an ancient site ruins that dates back 20,000 years way older than the pyramids.
Yeah but but look at it compared to the pyramids
