- BENELLI TRK 702 & 702X Review. The best new adventure bike! its just that good! this motorcycle has completely shocked me. Benelli are known for great value / cheap motorcycle. I like them but there has always been a "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" comment about them. But!!! this bike has broken the mold. This is a lot of bike for the money. the 702 is thousands cheaper than every competitor and i cant see why because its that good. take a look around and tell me im wrong! if your interested then head over to @in2moto480

i recently brought a trk702x and its a fantastic bike, 70bhp is fantastic and able to get out of trouble super easy
but and a BIG but, a full tank does me 130 miles MAX, (cavate) i use it how its sold with all the top boxes and panniers, what's point buying a adventure bike and taking all the boxes off. that's main reason someone buys 1, but do love the bike
and considering all this comes as standard, and ONLY £7000 most named brands your looking at £25k or worse for the same thing
I absolutely love them. Definitely my favourite bike of 2023 when they came out in the uk. So much bike for the money.

certainly looks the part and going by previous Benelli quality and value and the seeming increase in quality that would make this incredible value for money especially with the free goodies on offer at first
It’s my favourite bike of the year so far. And that not even thinking about how much of a bargain it is. It’s just a really nice bike to ride.

What about vibration? Is there a vibration after 130 k/h ? Because the 502 version has vibration and I did not like it.
Completely different animal to the 502. This one is really smooth, more power and feels loads lighter than the 502.
Too bad the 702 non-X's Anthracite Grey is not the same as the X-version's is.
Yes. I think the flashes of yellow on the x version look brilliant. But my favourite colour scheme is the forest green on the X.
I totally agree with what you say about benelli and this bike should do well , its everything the 502 wasn't. Is this a new engine or is it from cfmoto ? Not heard anything about the motor has its got previous form in another guise?
I believe it’s the same as one CFmoto use. Which is very similar to a engine Kawasaki use.

Am in the market for a bike. Am a proper cheapo - but these will come down nicely when someones put 500-1000 miles on them.

With that exhaust on the X model I certainly wouldn't be taking that down anything other than a few light farm tracks, it's just asking to get smacked off on a real trail, doesn't look like there's any room to fit a bash plate either.
I wouldn’t use it for anything more than gravel / farm tracks. Like most adventure bikes they will spend 99.9% of the time on the tarmac roads.
I have a 502 Street version, it's my second bike, my primary is a KTM SDGT. Love them both.
I was impressed by the Benelli range at the Helsinki motorcycle show, the whole range was quality. I was checking the frame welds and the smallest details and they were really well put together.
They really are good. Especially this 702x. They seem to be getting better with every new model that comes out.
Bring them to the states Benelli so i can trade up the 502 and maybe the zafferano.
The 702 was my favourite bike of 2023. For performance, price, practicality and exceeding expectations it’s my favourite

No. It was faultless. Unlike my rubbish GoPro.
Seat of 702 is 790mm or is more ? Confused in the site ?
790mm for the road version and 835mm for the X version.
790 for the standard and 836 for the x.
@GillyBikes I have nt1100 . Compared to nt you feel much better ? I am thinking sell the nt and buy hornet 750 and 702 .

I’ve not tried the CF Moto yet but it would need to be amazing to get close to the 702.

The switch gear looks cheap because it’s a cheap bike. If you want expensive switches then they come with a price to match. It’s about finding a nice balance between good value and quality 😁
@@GillyBikes my royal enfield Interceptor is a cheap bike with first class quality switch gear..
I can’t argue with that. Royal Enfields are brilliant. They do have the balance of value and quality. This Benelli though is considerably faster and more comfortable. You need to try one. You will be impressed.

almost bought the 502x but it has no power i bought a fjr 1300 2002 but if i get a brand new bike i think the cfmoto 800 mt is superb
Definitely don’t discount this one. Its my favourite bike of the year. If I get another adventure bike this is the one I would get. The 502 is lacking in power / performance and it’s really heavy. This is so much better. Loads lighter and much, much better with the performance as well.
