I've owned my 502x since May 2021 and with no regrets. It's power is no disappointment to me at all and it's great in town and on the motorway. I also own a Benelli 752s. Well happy with both bikes.
First thing l did after finishing the running in period on my 502x was to change front an rear sprockets, it dropped the revs at higher cruising speeds and didn’t massively destroy the acceleration from a stop. Really comfortable all day touring bike if you’re not worried about the power. Have owned for 3 years now without any reliability issues.
Your tests are the best real world tests I have seen. I have a 2021 -502 and it’s the best handling bike I have . That includes an Aprilia 660 Tuono, Buell 1125, Honda VF1000R and even the new XSR900GP. However it does vibrate, rattles, the clutch is not as the best and the fueling is not the best. But I love it.

Great video. I used a 502 as a replacement bike. For someone with very long legs like myself, the 502 offers a great riding position because the foot pegs are slightly forward compared to other bikes and compared to the 702. The 502 was a bit less stable at +100 Km/Hr than my own CF 650 MT.
Un-screw the rubber pads and take them off, and you have the jaggerd foot rest no vibration. As far as speed, it gets fast keep riding. I own the trk 502 2021 road version slitly faster than the X
Absolutly spot on great video great review ive just bought the 702x to do the nc500 two up with the wife and luggage after test riding the 702x it was a no brainer and at the price including all the luggage an absolute bargain love it and more than enough power even 2 up great bike and a good honest review 👌👍🏍💨
I own the 502 non x. Much more road worthy than the x, very flick able with its 17inch front wheel and the 2 tooth smaller rear sprocket as standard runs through the gears better. It's also a lot lower and lighter by 22kg I have found the buzzing is fading as the miles pile on..... Either that or I'm getting used to it 😂
I do really appreciate both these bikes but I think the best Chinese built bike of the modern times by quite a margin is the CFMOTO 450MT. Second, by a distance, would be the Benelli 702x for those wanting a bit more power.
I have a 702x. And had a zontes T310 before that.. These chinese bikes really are getting up there with the big boys. Im very impressed. Looking firward to seeing the 800 when it cones out
Great video. I've had my 702X for over a week uncovered 350 miles already. Overall, it's a great bike not perfect. The fuelling is rough below 2.5k revs, it's often difficult to find neutral, I have a droning noise coming from the back wheel at constant speed. Which I've been told is the tyre. Did you experience any vibration or droning noise from the rear? I still think I'm made a good choice though. 👍
I bought a 702 from the same dealer. Love the bike BUT its very "stuttery and jerky" in most rpms in 3rd and 4th gears. Best way to describe is that it feels like your riding over rubble strips on the road. 30-45 mph is very unpleasant and in heavy traffic doesnt feel safe. Feels like im in the wrong gear but I'm not. Feels like a fuelling issue. It's ruining my experience with the bike so far. Nearly run in now so im hoping that the problem will go away after that. Build quality seems good overall. Luggage no idea as im still waiting for mine. Veryshort supply of them.
@@turningwheels2584 The chains on all my bikes are kept perfectly adjusted 👍 Since my comment above I have had a company take a look at the fuel mapping and they confirmed that in the effect rev range it’s running too lean. Euro 5
Will be interesting to see how well these stand to the test of time. I really like the 702, one of the cheapest adventure bikes and I really hope they last
My 502 is parked outside under a cover on top of a Welsh mountain, totally exposed in the worst weather imaginable. I go over it with ACF50 for the winter. After two years it honestly looks as good as it did the day that it came out of the showroom, which is more than I can say for the Japanese or Triumph bikes I have owned that were kept in a garage.
I live on the coast, salt air and all. My 502 still looks as good as new, i too acf but the 2 little screws on my screen extender have rusted!! Not the bike screws! My kawasaki versys i had was a whole different story.
great video comparison of the two Binellis. As for the nod from fellow bikers im afraid its becoming a thing of the past, dont know why we all belong to one big fellowship.
Great review but why no offroad riding at all, 502 has significantly bigger ground clearance, even with proper skid plate it will be quite reasonable, 702 is road bike with all respect with it's ground clearance.
Tried the 502 & 702, 525 and 700MT. 502 & 525 were too buzzy for me and the finish on the one I tried was awful and also felt like a tank. Have a 1000km ride to first service this week and to be fair all the other bikes were low mileage and not run in.
Yes you have to run these in, the vibes reduce dramatically after running in, my himalayan and 502 both reduced A LOT after the 3k mark. People who review brand new bikes shouldn't really bring those things up.
I traded in my 502c (the custom not the adventure style) and that used to feel like it had plenty of power, but that was a lighter bike. Now I'm on the 702 it's like night and day when it comes to engine power and grunt. On another note...as a Norwich biker, it's still a novelty seeing a youtuber riding on all the roads I know lol 😆

Despite all its positive and negative aspects, do you recommend me to buy this engine?

Thanks for the reviews Mark

I didn't hear any droning no, low revs is not good indeed if you are in a higher gear.
Hi. Is your 702x good on fuel and do you know it's mpg? Thanks.
Great comparison, thanks!
Trk 800 x? 702 or cf moto 800MT?

Contact them, loads just come in.
I was there on Saturday. They had 8 sets in earlier in the week. They needed 10 sets. I guess I was no. 9 or 10.
@@KevParry Oh, I think they have been surprised by just how many of the bikes have sold. I hope yours arrives soon.
Late to the party but check your chain maybe.

I get plenty of nods. Many more than don't.
