Once again so very helpful Katherine. A question with the last one (air bench), is the weight to be in the front or the heel part when in a sitting position?
Front as you press hips against wall the weight should go to the front (keep abdominals relaxed)-if you tighten abdominals, weight shifts to heels and this is not correct. Does that clarify?
It depends. It depends on the underlying cause of your pain or problem. The idea is to correct the posture to reduce the stress on the body that could be the trigger for the pain. It does take time for the muscle and soft tissue to adapt/adjust and respond. Not everyone responds to this so don't hesistate to consult your local PT for guidance. Well wishes, Katherine, PT
I have an old (mid 2000s) copy of Pain Free which has some of these exercises in them but not all. Has the program been updated or have you added more based on your experiences with clients?
These are directly from the menu found in the book "Pain Free" by Pete Egoscue and it is the most recent updated and revised edition. There are changes from my understanding so you are correct in your observation. It's from the revised and updated second edition. Blessings
@@katherineprice96thank you for replying. The pain free book has helped me greatly for my hips and hands but I just can’t find help (from that book or anywhere else) for my chronic food pain. Going to pickup that new edition and try this new set. Thank you for your videos
Thank you for the feedback. I just started using a microphone...these did not have a microphone. Would it be helpful to you to have this particular video repeated with microphone?
looking for egoscue foot help and this is exactly what I needed. Love the verse as well
Thank you, this really helped me.
