Absolutely zero, and I’ve flown it in some sticky situations recently 😂 The RC is awesome, I wish it was a little brighter and screen recorded in 1080p but generally a superb remote.

Will you be trying a heigh/range test anytime soon? I’m debating the mini 3 but it’s just so expensive and I’m pretty happy with the mini 2 for video quality:) it’s just very difficult to film myself cycling (I’m filming myself on a bicycle tour) while holding the controller 😅
It’s not something I’d post online, I’d get the chair. I can confirm the range is great and the signal is perfect. For bike tracking, sell the Mini 2 and pick up the Mini 3, you’ll have made a great choice.
haha I used to arrive here by Orbis bus back in the 80’s, London to Poland. I’d come every year to see my grandparents and spend the summer here. It’s been in my blood my whole life 😂
Hi Phillip, I have one interesting question for you of the mini 3 Prod, and is about the camera/gimbal plastic protector. Do you take it off/or put it back on easily, or we have the same situation with the Air 2S protector - when removing it it felt like you rip off the camera and putting it back on was just as difficult. Just sold my OG mini to buy the m3 pro and im happy to hear its Much faster when you descend it Cause the mini was sloooow going down . Wished it was as fast as my phantom 3 to and the mini 3 pro seems to tick that box to.

Hi Phillip! For me there would really only be worth an upgrade from the Mini 2 if the low light performance is vastly improved. Not stills, video. Could you do a low light comparison with the Mini 2? Like ISO 800, 1600 and 3200? That would be awesome! My own test with the Mini 2 vs the Mini 1 indicates that above ISO 800 the 4K of the Mini 2 really does not give any more relevant detail beyond the 2.7K of the Mini. Since I often shoot in the evenings, a stop or two of better low light performance would really make me start saving money :)
The performance will no doubt be better in low light due to the sensor being over twice the size, so in theory the Mini 3 Pro should have cleaner night footage compared to the Mini 2, but as it's still pretty fresh we might have to wait a few updates for it to be really perfected.
Still going strong with my mavic mini with a custom firmware, ripped all the SDK files from it, changed max altitude and descend speed, currently flying at a top speed of 56 kmph. The mini 2 and 3 pro motors are just beefed up by removing software limitations like on my mini, only big difference is the better controller, more sensors and better camera even though you don't notice it, only with a side by side comparison. The mini line is one big joke, and no side sensors? 🤣 that's probably the most important sensor lol. This mini line up is one big joke.

Sideways it does a good job, I dropped a Reels on my Instagram the other day flying sideways in the middle of my city here. Superb drone, DJI really did an excellent job.
TOO FAST! SLOWWW DOWWWWN PHILIP!!! Actually, I wish these Mini Drones were a bit quicker. Usually they are about 75% the speed of say, a Mavic 3 😁 But seriously. Wind resistance it the primary concern... more specifically, the ability to OVERCOME Wind 💪 and actually make it home.
It’s got a good speed, it’s not Mavic 3 fast but it does the job for such a lil’ one. Yes, wind is always a concern, not mine personally, but I’ve heard people don’t like it 😂

I know, just my English humour getting the better of me. Well, I was wondering how good DJI’s gps system is, they differ, I know the SkyRC one is pretty damn accurate, so just double checking for my own peace of mind.
Just so you know, the higher you go the more wind there is affecting the speed of the mini 3 pro... plus that speedometer also affecting the weight and aerodynamics... not very accurate.

Phillip have you found a way to update the DJI fly app on the new DJI RC as I can’t seem to see a way to do it 😮
I don't think there is an update for the RC yet, the update yesterday was solely for the Mavic 3, so I'm guessing the RC won't be involved.

I wonder if it's ascend and descent speeds are faster than mini 2. I'll check the manual specs, and let you know.

Mini 3 Pro got some impressive speed for a tiny drone and footage looking real smooth and stunning. Nice upgrade to the mini series.

Go for FPV if you want speed. You'll get 300 km/h if you want.
Speed on a cinema drone isn't really needed.
