@@My_Alchemical_Romanceyou’re lucky man! I used to have a phantom 3 professional ver I think back then it was a couple thousand. I got the drone to film the cars at events I go to. But I agree with you FPV is something else!!! Used to have an FPV racing drone that cost a decent amount to build. @@NoNotMyRouter yes i absolutely agree with you, its definitely for a certain market, those who have yet to master the black magic involved with setting up FPV for the very first time, but they really hit it out of the park with their FPV, ive flown the avata for a while too, and i still prefer the FPV unit due to its power and camera, I love mine!
I have just purchased my mini 3 pro to go with my 18 month old air 2s and I can honestly say that I haven't flown my air 2s since buying the mini 3 pro, I love it, not had it out in strong winds as that's what my air 2s is for. Im impressed with the battery life and the range is enough for me as im not interested in flying miles out..... So far, I love it. 👍
My first drone and love it! Easy to fly and travel with. Flown in all conditions, light rain, snow, 45mph winds, night, etc and it’s always made it back safely! Takes amazing footage! Love it! I’d recommend it any day!
@@wadeglotfelty4022 yup, literally flying at 30 degree angle just to hover! Was flying over some cliffs and that was the UAV weather report. Having to use sport mode to get it back, but got the shot 👌🏻
I recently sold a Mavic air and after much thought between the air2s and the mini3 pro I chose the mini3 pro. Mainly because of the regulations, I'm currently testing myself, night shots or filming are impressive. After buying the FMC kit, I just bought 2 more batteries, because after yesterday's test I got 21 minutes. so i think 5 batteries after 20 min will be ok. It is really quiet, but this can also be a disadvantage, because I could locate the Mavic air faster in the sky - hearing it 😃.
Have the mini 3. Totally overexposed footage. Gonna try ND filter thanks for the advice! Unfortunately discovered that the mini 3 doesnt have d -cinelike :(
Couple of questions on the active track function: 1. When you are tracking yourself in the car, where do you have the controller? 3rd person using the controller, or simply sitting on the parcel shelf or passenger seat? 2. Does active track simply stay at a fixed altitude or does it "follow" decent / accent if you are going up or downhill as well? Reason I'm asking is cause I'm thinking about how to use this to film myself skiing off piste, either active track or with waypoints to program a flight path, then putting the controller in my backpack and skiing towards the drone on it's programmed route, or at a fixed point hover (which may be the safer option).
I have also had the DJI mini 3 pro for a year now. I noticed the way your controller was in the little bag with no nops. I have a little hack - I never take the nops off, if you turn it over there is plenty of room for them to stay on because there is a small opening in the compartment for the battery. 😊
I had the mini 2 first and then upgraded to the mini 3 pro and I love it. It has all the functionality of a much more expensive drone - it’s the best for travel and videography on the market today that I feel. The other negative is when landing with obstacle avoidance on - it keeps trying to avoid landing so it’s best to turn it off as you land or use RTH to avoid this problem
Main issue with my Mini 3 Pro is the focus problems when in "AF" mode. My Mini 3 has not such problem and has a better and sharper picture. And when you install the heavier "plus" battery, the drone handles much better in the wind.
I’d say the mini 2 is still the best choice for beginners and hobbyists. Mini 3 pro and mini 3 is really only good for people doing this professionally. Outside of the camera upgrade the features aren’t really worth it IMO. The obstacle avoidance sensors are very limited and are known to cause issues in certain situations (mainly over water) to me the price jump just isn’t worth it over the 2 which can be had at almost 1/3 the price. Hoping the mini 4 has some better upgrades!
I'd get the mini 2 but it doesn't allow me to use goggles. I really wanna fly in fpv mode and enjoy it that way, so unfortunately I have to dig deeper into my pockets for the mini 3 pro
With reference to the point made about wind resistance, bear in mind if you're only shooting photos the Mini 3 Pro will get you almost identical results to more expensive heavier drones. In strong winds gimbal shake does not affect photos. Same applies to the Mini 2.
RC-N1 is charging your connected phone, if phones battery is low, so this point doesn't really count. Also just switch to Flight Mode to prevent disturbance on your phone by incomming calls or messages. 😜
I've had the drone since it was released, and it's the best Mini drone I have ever owned. It's my travel drone, it goes everywhere with me. Great video, and thanks for sharing.
I had my Mini 3 pro for 5 days before I smacked it into a rock and lost it in the pacific ocean (Side impact as I was circling around another rock formation, so I really feel that no side sensor low point). As this was my first drone I got the insurance, so have another one on the way after a small fee. Up to the point I lost it I was getting great footage even in relatively windy conditions. Well, what I considered good :).
Your you tube is my go to. I'm 61 have the 3 pro. We sent her up over the cliffs mullaghmore donegal bay and got a completely different view. The North Atlantic looking back. Too windy to follow the 4 basking sharks the following day. We love it on our camper van ventures
my first DJI drone wasPhantom 3 pro which was too big and noisy so later changed to Mavic pro which was quite revolutionary high tech and compact for that time ,later the first mini and air series versions interested me due their size but all were quite limited in hardware and features, as soon as mini 3 pro was introduced i knew this is the perfect drone for me due the small size with most of the biger drones features....
I had it for a minute! Right out of the box the gimble wouldn't center, then i live in Charleston South Carolina and its hot here. I had over heating issue right out of the gate, while it was flying so i sent it back. I was a little disappointed i did like the drone but not good in the hot heat. So its the air 2s for me.
100% Agreed! Love this device! Even after using Mavic 3 Pro on the daily basis still getting drawn by Mini’s compact size light weight ease of travel and footage quality of course. In my camera bag 90% of the time.
I am new to this, Is the only thing you need to fly this drone in Florida the trust certificate. Can you fly it on controlled airspace with out having to registered it and get an approval?
This is the best travelling drone by a mile!! I have been to so many countries with it and the authorities don’t even look at it! The pics and videos are superb for holiday memories and yes, i never fly it more than 100 to 200 mts from me. Just to get the shor, the panoramic, etc and never had any issue with the wind whatsoever. If you only need family memories, do not consider any other more expendive drone. I am even selling my Macic 3 Classic, i have not used as much as I though I will be. Great review!
Hi mate, I always enjoy your videos, they are really well made and you speak so well and confidently. I've had my Mini 3 Pro 9 months now and its still going strong. Although it is a LOT dirtier than yours. I use mine in fields and countryside to film myself metal detecting. Its been stuck in tree's and crashed numerous times, but as you say its very durable and strong. Only ever had to replace damaged props. Not ditched it in a lake yet either haha. Keep up the really great work
been using the mini 3 pro since july last year. often take it with me on walks or in places where I don't want to stand out. what i miss is the way point option. they should install it in the update. really don't regret buying this one 😁 along with the Mavic 3 and Avata
Gave my son my avata, bought a classic 3 realize it’s to big and to expensive. I just wanna have fun and see awesome picture. I don’t really fly in high winds bc any aircraft is gonna become more difficult or lose battery. But I loved the avata motion control, just pure fun. So on the fun side, how do you feel between mini 3 pro and mavic 3? I bought classic night view is awesome but I’m no photographer
5:05 strong disagree. RC N1 is fine....gets the job done. Phone can do certain things being connected online. Easier to pull videos and stuff. Screen record works well
Absolutely love this drone as my first. I've had it since March and haven't even come close to maxing out the capabilities. However, I live on the coast and there are more annoyingly windy days than not. This is a problem because I love doing hyperlapses and it really shows the instability. Overall though a great drone. Top notch review and the points you made about the RC controller and batteries are 1000% valid! Cheers
Hi I was told told that there is the change in the drone laws in the EU and the UK. You now have to pass a test to get your flyer ID for both places? Has this changed in January?
I''m loving mine (30 vids) but I still feel cautious flying and knowing its limitations. Being down the road in Preston, I need half an hour at your side for a confidence builder!
Really appreciate the 1yr review! I've been getting into my hiking a fair bit, started my channel and have slowly been building up my equipment. I have been eyeing the mini pro 3 for a month now. Everytime I come across some stunning places and there is only so much I can capture on my Go Pro and phone camera. This seems like a good choice. Thanks again!
My Mini 3 Pro arrived a few days ago, and I am impressed to say the least. Before this I only had budget drones such as the Ruko F11 Gim2. These budget drones are aimed at beginners, what a load of tosh. I was questioning my flying and certain types of landing abilities... but a quality drone like the Mini 3 Pro, has shown just how bad these budget drones are and my flying wasn't so bad after all 👍
I bought it for mountain bike event photography to advertise BUT the biggest down side for me is the smart controller on follow me function. Where do i store it while cycling and the drone following? No lock screen function means I cannot put in my backpack or even pocket while cycling 😢
I've had mine since the beginning of the year and speaking as a novice, love it. However, there have been two occasions when I've flown it in what l considered little to no wind and it has flown really erratically. Almost like it had a mind of its own and flying off to a distant land! I found it difficult to control to get it back and land. All of which I've found a bit disconcerting. I have DJI Care Refresh, which l think is a must, if you can afford the extra. Overall though, I'm really happy with it.
I currently have the L700. But when the battery hits low you can’t control it and TWICE now it’s crashed on the two story house on the gutter upside inches from where it crashed the first time.🤦🏾♂️ So I’m going to go with the MJI mini 3 Pro so I can have collision avoidance.
Im glad i stumbles on this video. been looking into buying a drone but did not know which one. I really like this mini 3 and you just convinced me on getting it.
I’ve been travelling the world for the last year and I’ve taken the Mini 3 Pro everywhere. There’s so many around now. I love it. The wind issue isn’t big for me, I got a bigger battery for it (yes over 249g now), but that does stabilise it a little bit in the wind. There’s more issues with my editing than the drone, but that comes with practice and time :). Thanks for the videos!
Got my Mini 3pro just over a month ago, still getting to grips with it and had 2 small accidents based on RTH where it didn't return to where it took off from and went straight onto a fence then flipped and again corner of bench then flipped, probably easier just flying back by myself. I bought it for Turkey next year on boat trips where the view although amazing will look better from the air
I've had mine for 7 or 8 months now. I mainly use it for architectural photos in cities. Overall great! Love it but: 1. I wish you could use AEB in 48mpx mode for photos. It is unavailable so I rarely use 48mpx. 2. Waypoints for hyperlapse have been unreliable for me. e.g. I wanted to do a day to night transition but the framing was different between the shots so I couldn't do that. 3. Sometimes I wish the lens was 22mm or wider ;) I mostly shoot architecture and there are times I can't move back to fit the building but it's a minor downside. Love the DJI-RC for quick set up, but it's annoying that each time you update it it resets all your settings and you have to set it up again (defaults to auto etc).
Love the video! Thanks for sharing. Since upgrading to the Mini 3 pro I now seem to have multiple bird attack encounters. Have you had any issues with Bird attacks? Never experienced this in the 4 years I flew the DJI Spark.
If on mac Final Cut Pro is pretty straightforward and you get a 90 day free trial or learn resolve on either Mac or windows 😊 Another option lumafusion on iPad is very straight forward too
Thanks very much for a great relaxed video. Can I just ask if ok, if one motor goes does it still fly and is there are limit for wind. It looks like it’s blowing about a bit but the image is stable so is there some image stability processing going on? Many thanks and any hifi advice fire away….
I liked the video. Very cool and Ive had mine for 8 months. the standard controller charges your phone when you plug it in, its never a problem to have low charge.
Had Min3 pro for last 12 months. Had a motor issue but had fantastic service from DJI. They replaced with brand new latest model no questions asked in 7 days. Superb service. Drone is great
This was also my first drone. It's fantastic, though I haven't used it as much as I want. I was thinking of using it as a freelance real estate filming, in the sense of offering services to small real estate companies and get air shots of properties. Is that something you could make a video on? Techniques for that, I mean.
I would definitely say the wind resistance is misleading if you want a stable shot in 20MPH wind gusts and up. Granted the drone will still fly fine. It's when you need to get close to a subject is when you will notice the shaking. I do roof inspections and I need to get within 5-8 feet of the roof on some shots. granite that I don't need to do video but it is hard to get the photos that you need of that area and you will more than likely need more than one photo. Also when it is windy you do not want to get close to an object as the wind may push the drone into it.
My son and I have the mini 3 PRO and the Air 2S. If the winds are higher than 20mph I won't allow us to fly. We've had no signal issues with the mini 3 and it really is a phenomenal little aircraft! Thank you for your content! Another great video as always brother!!!
I love the mini 3 pro. I also have the mini 2, Air 2S, and Avata. Unfortunately on my trip last weekend I was launching my drone from a second story balcony. I didn't realize that one of the propellers seized on the motor. The motors started and I was able to takeoff and then it shut itself off and fell 2 floors down and hit cobblestones. The body case was lifted a little bit, but other than that and one broken prop there was no visible damage. However, something happened to the gimbal as it in a "gimbal stuck" mode although it has free movement. I still am not sure why the one propeller is seized, maybe the shaft pin is slightly bent? But it shows how rugged these little drones are that it falls two floors and hits cobblestone and still appears visibly intact.
I had the same experience in gusty winds on my Autel Nano+. When the wind is gusty, I can see the shake in any videos I take. This is the case even when the average wind speed is not high, but there are fast gusts.
Purchased the mini 3 pro fly more combo just before the mini 4 pro was introduced 😢 Have not experienced any issues in moderately high winds…possibly due to using the heavier Intelligent Flight Batteries Plus?
The Geo Fencing is driving me nuts. The reason I got the 249g drone is to fly in places where other drones can’t without permission. Now you have to get permission before you fly. I recently was trying to fly where it was legal to fly but no mobile coverage so could not unlock the Geo Fencing.
Hi, I fly a Mini 2 and looking at a Mini 3 Pro, keeping both drones. So can I take the Mini 2 to Greece for an holiday in my camera bag, as I'm a photographer looking for ariel still shots ideally. I been told there's forms and papers I need to do first, then apply, then wait for clarification. I wouldn't want to take the Mini 2 and be stopped at the airport, UK or Greek side. Nice footage of Antalya, the waterfalls, and the cable car section I was familiar with from last November.
Bought this on your recommendation and love it, I'm a mountain biker/bikepacker so it works great as I can just carry it in my rear pocket. Love it. Biggest issue is sun on the screen, it's hard to see what's going on in sunlight. I'm still learning when it comes to flying it. Finally realised I can use the map to get the drone back, haha, I used to try and find myself on the screen then panic haha, I know. I've not had any issues with wind yet. Yes side sensors would be great but so long as you bare it in mind it's fine. For me the game changer is the size and weight, it out ways any other issues. I just took mine to Australia, no issues. Yes the fixed aperture is a pain, but I have ND filters now so all's good. I imagine the Mini4 will fix that. Thanks for all the tips and insight. G
Bought mine used love it. Had a holy stone that goes berserk and crushed when I paired the app on my phone. Your right get the rc controller it is definitely worth it.
100% agree! Great 1st drone, maybe the perfect 1st drone for anyone! I just started making vids and I will say it’s more durable than you think! One downside you didn’t mention is flying without GPS or low HgPS signal….it will drift really bad and not hover correctly, it may also limits you altitude which for me sux as I am in canyons with waterfalls..but in most scenarios this thing is so good!
I just bought this drone and I have crashed it 3 times. I am learning but it has not had a single issue after the crashes. Great video and I can’t wait until I am good enough to get great shots and upgrade my drone.
You nailed it in the video. So many positives. Only negative for me, as you say is get to the ideal location only for it to be blown about by the wind. Took this to Iceland and the Lake District recently and not disappointed at all with the footage I returned with. Always keep it close in line of sight and only 1 crash in to an unseen branch to date and it recovered despite one prop being submerged. Greatly review.
I had been promising myself a drone for several years, when a deal for a used Mavic 2 pro fell through, I bought a mini 3 pro. I absolutely love it, from functions to great quality images and video, I'm flying it as much as possible and learning fast with the help of many like DMP.
i love watching your vids but one thing i would really like dji to do is to copy hubsan mini pro and give voice warnings when the battery is getting low and automatically returns to home if course you can switch return to home off if you are close but i found it to be a very useful feature especially when you are out filming with the drone you become really engrossed what you are filming its nice to have a voice prompt reminder it makes for a more relaxed experience your thoughts
The description on their page and amazon preject it can fly 10 km or about 5-6 miles. Is this true? Does the video still display when you go that far - my other drone seems to lose video around 250 feet.
One year just goes so quickly, really enjoying flying mine. Just confused on the new rules for flying in [France. } Does anyone no if you have to register your drone and do a online test. I understand it that ifs its up to 249g with a camera you have to register it,? Appreciate any advice thanks
Amazing bit of kit. M3P is my 1st drone and it’s come to turkey and various Uk places. Got loads of content but I’m still not great at enhancing the footage
Agree 100%. Buying mini 3 pro as my first done is just a perfect decision. I am happy flying it everyday on my trips. It does struggle flying against winds so I am already considering buying the next gen mavic after I "crash" my mini 3 pro🤪
I have this drone since Christmas ‘22 and I love it. It’s my first drone and I bought it especially to learn how to fly a drone, as I was really bad with joysticks 😅 (not a gamer 😏). But as you said, it’s so light and portable, that I take it with EVERYWHERE so I practice a lot 😊 and I’m way better now. My camera and lenses are heavy enough, so having a light weight drone is a blessing. However, as you said, even though the specs say one thing about wind, I had to give up a few times already due to the wind. Overall, I love it and will use it, even if I buy something more sturdy and more professional in the future. It’s simply easier to travel with. PS I love your LUTs. The cine ones are amazing and I finally started to use cine profile ❤
Looking to get a drone for real estate photography/photography business. Would you or anyone recommend this over the Mavic 3 classic? MOST worried about the noise level of the mavic 3, but also worried about the decrease in image quality to the mini 3 pro. Any suggestions would be helpful!
I sold my Mavic 3 today and am only going further in the micro drone category. I fly the Mini 3 Pro with the Dji RC Pro I think that's a powerful combination.
@@PavelSACR I have several drones, I prefer to fly as inconspicuous as possible. The micro drones already produce sufficient image quality for me. I'm a minimalist photographer so everything as small as possible and get the maximum quality out of it.
It is an excellent drone and it will easily be such for few more years. The sole fact that they are reducing some of the features in the newer Mini 3 is showing they really did go overboard here. And I totally love that. The tip N1 was perfect. The flight time sounds long but seriously if you are a beginner you will totally need at least 3 batteries. If you have a perfect plan what to shoot and how to do it... then you still will want a second battery. Also don't forget that there are Plus batteries too(was a hell to manage to get 2 of them in Europe but totally worth it). Please note that using a Plus battery is like using another drone: It gets heavier(and you bexome a subject to all laws for 250+ g drones. It gets noisier... by quite a bit. But it also gets better wind resistance due to the increased weight and the increased speed of the propellers. Honestly speaking - it's totally NOT worth it to get the Plus battery for the extra flight time - but it can be a game changer in some situations... and it can just be enough to remove that video destroying wobble in semi strong winds... The change isn't that much but sometimes you need just a small thing. After the mini 3 pro I kinda got the drone fever and got an avata too(the moment I found I can use the googles with the mini)... if you do something like that you will really appreciate how close to a "stealth" and silent drone mini 3 is. Imo that really is it's number one advantage over everything else.
@@letsgobrandon5800 The larger battery is missing the 249 g sign on it... and if people know they dont need to weight it. At some places you can get in a problem for that so I am just saying... better get your A1/A3 certificate and get A2 too - they are easy... Saves a lot of trouble - the extra bonus is that if you have them it is easier to apply to fly in restricted areas - and the DJI has the habit to not let the drone even enter them if you don't unlock them first.
@@DefianceOrDeath Strictly speaking it's a simple laser engraving... you can get is easily enough and I do suppose it will save you most of the times... far from legal but the idea is still nice 😉
Hi, love your content. In your video you said that you would not recommend an air 2s. Can you elaborate please. I've just bought one but it's still in the box and wonder if I should return it.

Enjoyed everything in the video with exception to the cursing. Thanks for the heads up on the 25mph winds and honestly I think I'll just not fly on days over 15 or 20mph so should be alright. Now whether to by from B&H or direct from DJI. Thanks. :-)
I would say DJI as its better if you need to return it or have any issues with it. The customer care team is brilliant click.dji.com/AMfc8QWyi3e8IETKXffYTg?pm=link
It's interesting because I've recently downsized my camera gear. I was a full frame Nikon shooter with a big Nikon D850. I've now switched down to small Fujifilm going smaller with your gear. Will actually get you to use your it more because it's less of a hassle to take it all out with you. Honestly people the sensors in a lot of the smaller cameras now I just as good you just gotta be a little bit more finicky or precise with your light use and the way that you take photos just take a little bit more care just to get your light and correct exposure done and you're good to I don't necessarily believe you need to go bigger to get better. I have recently purchased a DJ mini three pro for this reason that it can fit inside my backpack and I don't have to compromise on my other gear for that very reason it is a drone that I'm going to use and I'm loving it already.

Couple of questions on the active track function:

Eh? Just extend your right arm and hold down the joystick even if sensors are on.
Main issue with my Mini 3 Pro is the focus problems when in "AF" mode. My Mini 3 has not such problem and has a better and sharper picture. And when you install the heavier "plus" battery, the drone handles much better in the wind.
A good tip would be get into a habit of tapping on the screen when beginning flying and then focusing issues shouldn’t happen
Thank you for the tip on the plus battery, I may get it for those windy occasions
@@TampaGigWorker the mini 2 does support goggles. They updated the firmware about a year ago….
@@taintandledoucheinc seriously??
@@TampaGigWorker yes. There are videos about it but the mini 3 was already out so it didn’t get as much attention
I was just saying the same thing. Time flies when you're having fun! I received mine May 11th of last year! Still loving it!
Im a beginner, got this drone couple of months ago, loving it
fab!
We love it on our camper van ventures
ah sounds perfect !
my first DJI drone wasPhantom 3 pro which was too big and noisy so later changed to Mavic pro which was quite revolutionary high tech and compact for that time ,later the first mini and air series versions interested me due their size but all were quite limited in hardware and features, as soon as mini 3 pro was introduced i knew this is the perfect drone for me due the small size with most of the biger drones features....
Can be used to inspect roofs, gutterings etc etc??
Thanks you helped a lot , I am going to get the dji mini 3 pro then when I get more advanced, I will level up to the mavic 3
Hi is this the best drone for beginners?
Hi mate, I always enjoy your videos, they are really well made and you speak so well and confidently. I've had my Mini 3 Pro 9 months now and its still going strong. Although it is a LOT dirtier than yours. I use mine in fields and countryside to film myself metal detecting. Its been stuck in tree's and crashed numerous times, but as you say its very durable and strong. Only ever had to replace damaged props. Not ditched it in a lake yet either haha. Keep up the really great work
Haha sounds like you’re having a great time with that drone !
been using the mini 3 pro since july last year. often take it with me on walks or in places where I don't want to stand out. what i miss is the way point option. they should install it in the update. really don't regret buying this one 😁 along with the Mavic 3 and Avata
I have it and I love it. I actually need to use it more. Hopefully with this summer coming I’ll be able to do that!
Yes you do!
Do you need a licence or anything like that for these mini drones?
5:05 strong disagree.
RC N1 is fine....gets the job done. Phone can do certain things being connected online. Easier to pull videos and stuff. Screen record works well
Absolutely love this drone as my first. I've had it since March and haven't even come close to maxing out the capabilities. However, I live on the coast and there are more annoyingly windy days than not. This is a problem because I love doing hyperlapses and it really shows the instability.
Overall though a great drone.
Top notch review and the points you made about the RC controller and batteries are 1000% valid!
Cheers
Thank you ! Yes I’m with you, I love doing hyper lapses too and that’s one of the downsides when it’s windy with this drone for sure
Seagulls are a knightmare on the coast too ,many close calls
@@myphotos ever try an owl skin on the back of the drone? I know owl's scare off pigeons so I wonder if it will do the same to gulls.
Yes good choice getting the dji refresh I should of added that in! Very good point
also dont forget winds can be a lot different around 15 feet up, so on the ground may not be the same as up higher
You are simply the best DJI Mini 3 reviewer. I have had every mini. Everything you said is EXACTLY spot on!
Not one item I disagree with!
Thank you 🙏
I currently have the L700. But when the battery hits low you can’t control it and TWICE now it’s crashed on the two story house on the gutter upside inches from where it crashed the first time.🤦🏾♂️
So I’m going to go with the MJI mini 3 Pro so I can have collision avoidance.
Im glad i stumbles on this video. been looking into buying a drone but did not know which one. I really like this mini 3 and you just convinced me on getting it.
I've had this drone since December. And we are constantly finding new ways to use it. very happy with the many 3 pro.
I am flying mine loads. Wish it could spin around fast and turning circle tighter. Range better and speed better.
Can you get larger props for it?
Could adding some weight to the M3Pro help it fly better in windy conditions?
I just bought this drone yesterday and I appreciate your advice. Well done........!
I've bought the ND filters as you've suggested but I'm a novice. How do i know what ND filters to use when? Any guidance is appreciated thanks
Thanks for the videos!
sure does! Keep practicing and it'll become second nature
I believe there are wide angle lenses you can buy for it.
@@olabergvall3154 the problem with this lens adapter is that it is not optically corrected for distortion. So it's a no-no for me.
Looking at getting a Mini Pro 3. Just checking it’s not likely to be replaced any time soon by a better model?
Love the video! Thanks for sharing. Since upgrading to the Mini 3 pro I now seem to have multiple bird attack encounters. Have you had any issues with Bird attacks? Never experienced this in the 4 years I flew the DJI Spark.
My M3P was bullied by swiftlet half its size that i had to abort flying. Maybe i was near its nesting place near a cave.
Thank you so much for sharing so much of your knowledge with us. I’m so grateful for the cheat sheets!
I appreciate that and thanks for the support buying the cheat sheets ! 🤜
Purchased the DJI Mini 3 Pro, but would like to learn about color grading, best easy to use software for beginners, etc. Any recommendations?
If on mac Final Cut Pro is pretty straightforward and you get a 90 day free trial or learn resolve on either Mac or windows 😊
Another option lumafusion on iPad is very straight forward too
Thanks very much for a great relaxed video. Can I just ask if ok, if one motor goes does it still fly and is there are limit for wind. It looks like it’s blowing about a bit but the image is stable so is there some image stability processing going on? Many thanks and any hifi advice fire away….
Absolutely excellent review. The DJI rc is an absolute game changer and I find myself flying more often because of it.
Drone is great
May i know where you bought it? If i order in amazon, will I get warranty? Thanks

Can I manage flight patterns for mapping an area with a DJI mini 3 or 4? Maybe with additional app installed?
This was also my first drone. It's fantastic, though I haven't used it as much as I want. I was thinking of using it as a freelance real estate filming, in the sense of offering services to small real estate companies and get air shots of properties. Is that something you could make a video on? Techniques for that, I mean.
I have done a few videos on how to make money with a drone :-)
@@DMProductions Oh I know! I mean more flight techniques for good real estate filming ;)
@@Tchernobog11 stay tuned on that 😉
Do you think this will be ok for filming cycling footage? I am worried about it keeping up.
With the drone positioned behind you it keeps up well
I would definitely say the wind resistance is misleading if you want a stable shot in 20MPH wind gusts and up.
Thank you bro appreciate it
@@DMProductions You're welcome! Keep up the good work!
As the mini 3 Pro has a better camera than the mini 3 ......its a bit of a difference in price second hand .
What is your advice please
Can you use this for surf fishing. Meaning, can this pick up an 6 to 8oz weight and bait??
Bought mine used love it. Had a holy stone that goes berserk and crushed when I paired the app on my phone. Your right get the rc controller it is definitely worth it.
When speaking of wind resistance you mentioned get the Mavic 3, why not the Air 2s?
I have had mine for a couple of weeks now. This review expresses my experience precisely. With an Inspire 2, a Phantom 4, and a Mavic 2Pro
I've experienced that while in the Peruvian Andes. I believe I took off before it synced with at least 12 satellites, plus it was nighttime.
@@Carlos-wz7vm mine just crashed yesterday in a remote no trail area…just flew backwards into a tree for no good reason as soon as it took off
I just bought this drone and I have crashed it 3 times.
Thank you David 👌
Very nice video. 1 question though, if you can only choose 1 filter what will be ? Nd16 with polarizer or anything else ?
I had been promising myself a drone for several years, when a deal for a used Mavic 2 pro fell through, I bought a mini 3 pro. I absolutely love it, from functions to great quality images and video, I'm flying it as much as possible and learning fast with the help of many like DMP.
I am a Realtor and am wondering how to edit drone footage with interior photos especially if I am using your recommended filters.
i love watching your vids but one thing i would really like dji to do is to copy hubsan mini pro and give voice warnings when the battery is getting low
and automatically returns to home if course you can switch return to home off if you are close but i found it to be a very useful feature especially when you are out filming with the drone you become really engrossed what you are filming its nice to have a voice prompt reminder
it makes for a more relaxed experience your thoughts
Hi, which bag do you use for the Mini 3 Pro? this is not the one from the combo pack right? It looks smaller
Is the signal still good when you lower the mini beyond thick prison walls?
You have the drone bug ! Haha yes get the mavic !
If i can only Buy sd filter, which number you recommanded? I saw on your video you had installed the ND/32PL is this the one?
I sold my Mavic 3 today and am only going further in the micro drone category. I fly the Mini 3 Pro with the Dji RC Pro I think that's a powerful combination.
Hi! Tell me, please, why you sold mavic 3? Is it too big? I can't make choice which dron better to buy mini 3 pro or air 2s
@@PavelSACR I have several drones, I prefer to fly as inconspicuous as possible. The micro drones already produce sufficient image quality for me. I'm a minimalist photographer so everything as small as possible and get the maximum quality out of it.
@@joeriherremans1980 Thank you for response!
Brilliant info as usual the camera is brilliant on this drone I just wish it was better in wind like you said
It is an excellent drone and it will easily be such for few more years.
No ones weighing your drone with a larger battery mate. Don’t be daft.
@@DrAngellius I wonder how hard it would be to just replicate the 249g sign on it haha.
Shot my first d cine on my mini 3 pro 2 weeks ago and cant open video with davinci resolve 18. What am i doing wrong? New pc, first time being able to use that style of video
Appreciate the way you invest your time in explaining things to your viewers. Keep up the good work!
Thank you 🙏
Could you make a video on drone lens cleaning and maintenance?
