Government of India has enacted the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016 and all the sections of the Act shall come into force with effect from May 1, 2017. Under this Act, Government of Kerala established Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K RERA) for regulation and promotion of real estate sector in the State of Kerala. Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016 is a step towards reforming the real estate sector in India, encouraging greater transparency, citizen centricity, accountability and financial discipline.

My apartment builder gave us one date of completion but in RERA certificate, their completion date is in 2026.
Work is still going on .... they wont finish soon. They have time till 2026!!

in paper these agencies are strong and powerful
could you pls mention any of the project in Kerala RERA has taken any action or sort a solution for the problems for customers whos life has put in such a miserable state by these builders in Kerala?
What happened to thousand of home buyers who's life has put in jeopardy by the so called renowned builders from these industries like SI homes/Heera builders/Samson and Sons etc.???
What action has taken against them??? why last 5 years Kerala Govt was delaying it// to support whose interest?
Why Kerala has deviated from the original RERA format implemented in rest of other Indian states from 2016 onwards?
All other Indian states are giving importance for customers interest and right as prime motto for this RERA as per the guidelines given by central govt.
Only in Kerala this was diluted and made acceptable for the so called builder community and the interest vest out of that is clear bcz its happened due to the pressure from CREDAI and builders.

Be really careful dealing with any corporations. As an individual we don't have the time, money and other resources to fight these gangs, who have the blessings of powerful political parties, as they are election fund sources.
Try to put money on stuff you can see and touch and feel the quality. Also remember we are in India and the how the rights are protected for a consumer.
