Hi Jay, Another fabulous work of craftsmanship!! Mando is getting even more beautiful!!! 😍 I hope you had a Merry Christmas and yoy will have a Happy New Year! As always God bless and take care from your long-time California subscriber 🙏 🤲
Simply stunning once again. That hardware is perfect for the piece. You would never know that the drawers have new veneer. I love it! I'm so happy you saved it from the trash. Great job Jay and Rad.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I appreciate how you attend to every little detail/crack/joint and make sure you restore it as best as it can be. You are a purrfeshional :) Well done :)
This is the ultimate Jay! All of your transformations are fabulous but this one is extra special - the leaf hardware completely sets it off! Glad to see that Mando and Hugo are entertaining themselves while you're busy on the job :-)
I love how you can see a broken down piece of furniture that’s been discarded, unwanted, and restore it to a stunning piece that almost anyone would love to have! It gives me so much hope to see a piece of furniture restored. Thank you for sharing your talents and reminding us all to keep holding on to hope and that great value is found in the master’s eye.
@@Flippingdrawers you are really good at explaining your processes throughout your videos. Do you mentor the same way? How would your apprentice describe your teaching style? What a beautiful vanity you worked your magic on. I've been a viewer for a while and it has been lovely watching you come out of your shell. You have a great sense of humor 🙂
Oh my gosh, I learn so much from you! I only restore/finish furniture for my own use, but watching you has helped me do such a much better job for myself. In fact, I am restoring a little painted side table right now and find myself thinking, “now you go back and re-do that, Jay would never let that go!” I’ll never be as good as you, but I sure do appreciate your vision, artistry, and skill. Super glad you re-did the drawers…BTW
Great save on the drawer fronts! I really think the wax finish on the interior of the drawers adds a lot of class to the finished work too. I also thought the factory design on the slides demonstrated a higher build quality. That was a long and worthwhile trip from trash on the street to elegant.
Seeing your name gave me good memories. I knew a famous artist with your name who lived in Laguna Beach, and then Lahaina. She was fantastic and such a wonderful friend. Thanks for the memories!
This is beautiful restoration work. The legs feel mismatched and the hardware is too large for such a delicate piece, however, that is a matter of personal taste. Nothing can detract from your dedication and obvious talent. This channel is a joy to watch.
Hello to you and Rad. Glad you have an apprentice to help you out. You do great work and it’s wonderful you are able to share your experience with Rad, as well as showing all of us .

Beware roaches in old damp furniture (crevices and cracks, too) Decaying wood is soft and easy to eat. Roaches can digest cellulose, allowing them to eat wood and other tree-based matter, such as paper and cardboard. Unfortunately, this means wooden furniture can be a source of sustenance. Roaches can eat paint, so treat wooden furniture with varnish.
