Any half assed diy person can build something quite comparable to the large unit ($940). For litteraly 1/10th of the price. Iwas absolutely going to buy one of these until I saw how out of line the price was. There are plans here to build your own. Greed is the enemy of our industry, remember that.

I don't make videos on this topic, but if you send me an email I can send you a picture of it. Basically I took the 5 gallon snap on type lids and used those for the round ends and attached them together with nicely cut pieces of wood, so then I end up with a drum made from those parts. Then I ordered some 150 micro screen from McMasterCarr and wrapped the drum, sealed the 150 micro screen to the 5 gallon bucket lids with the Goop glue. The screen sits inside the lip of the 5 gallon lid so that you can fill in the lip with lots of glue to make a perfect seal. Made a cutout on the side that has bolts to take off and access the inside of the drum. Put a piece of threaded metal rod thru the center and attach it to a bbq chicken spinner thing. ....etc ..etc...sound hard to make but only takes an hour or two when you have the materials, and best of all IT WORKS REALLY WELL and cost less than 50 to make.
Hey O.K.A., we would be more than happy to adjust the pricing to be more affordable, after all, we are also grower's and operators like yourself. But we do not set pricing and our margins are already under 30% across the board. Seems to me like MONSTER PRICE TAG, but little actual profit to ensure that our consumers are happy. Also, when we recognize product inflation in the industry we look to have the product manufactured ourselves that way we can bring a product to market that's more affordable for everyone! Hope this clarifies O.K.A., because there seems to be a misconception about how much money Hydroponic stores are actually making.....I can assure you it's quite minimal. Cheers!

Ok being completely honest here. I hate leaving someone a bad review but, I bought a 150 (to start to make sure it was even worth the money). I have had nothing but issues with it from the start. The components are cheap. One could actually dismantle this thing and probably make it for not much more than $30.00 - after owning this thing now maybe 4 - 5 years and only using it on a very limited part time basis, even careful to keep it maintained and cleaned regularly the thing won't even run anymore. Paid 650.00 for an overpriced piece of garbage. Save your money folks!
holy god these are poorly made i just made 3 different sizes with my friend the motor came from one of my old blenders that has a crazy fast engine but its only used on 2 different settings but everything only took me 4 hours thats including getting a bin to sheets of glass from the thift store what is going on here......i build racing engines to computers to messing with housing but theres is poorly made and i just made them never made it previous to anything but videos i seen on here lol magnet yea no thanks rather use clips and a magnet just deff not liking it plus this is something a kid can make at a 5th grade science fair

And then worst of all, this doesn't even produce full melt, it makes lowend kief. Double psh. You guys should drop this brand and order wholesale from Mila who I think might even have a patent now on this design. This is just wack, i thought it was going to be like half the price it is, but nope, same as the original designers. the real question here is.. if you put beautiful frosty buds in large chunks into one of these & ran it for a short period, morals aside. would you hypothetically be able to set aside a small bit of sift aside for your self & cut those buds down a bit smaller and still sell them(i mean give them away) cough. cause i feel like that's basically what all the bud in the illegal places is anyway either that or it never had any trichs to begin with.

I brought this up to the trim supervisor at that company, who I WAS, friends with. He knows I know but won't admit it and won't talk to me anymore. Fuck greed!

When you need to produce at least 2lbs a week you dont have time to build one or look for cheaper..time is money..then you buy one of those.
Wallmart had these for 59.99$ now they are like 480$, all the same model with different brand logo slabbed onto it. probably all made in china for 12$. Dont buy these, overpriced AF.
