If I only lived in the area, I'd love to come see the car in person. She's so pretty, shame to see you selling it. Hope the new owner will treat her well.
Keep the car Nick! It adds real depth and interest for the channel. Not just another ‘option list’ purchase at your local OPC! Your 993 video gave your dream list ( coupe, green etc!) this compliments your 993 cab perfectly. Take it on road trip travel logs! Great for the channel. 928, overlooked classic!
Geez Nick your 928 reminds me of my former manager who drove a sky blue 928. If my CDL didn’t restrict me to automatics only I would buy , at your ask, immediately. I was never a big fan of the non air cooled Porsche as I’ve always been a fan of 911 but it’s the nostalgia appeal of my younger days & I would honor Tri by keeping the plates if possible. Envious of the future owner, best wishes my friend., you did an excel job of restoring it !
I first fell in love with this car when I saw it in Risky Business. It was a favorite of mine, only bested by the Lamborghini Countach. God, the 928S is still a beautiful car, with great lines.
This car is a gem. Such a unique Porsche. Shame you have to sell so soon. This is a buyers dream with such a transparent showing of the car. Looking forward to hearing about your new project.
My all-time favorite car. It's such a beautiful design. I love the color combination you've got. I understand the realities of life, but it breaks my heart to see you sell her. When I think of all the great videos that might have been I want to cry. 😢
Porsche engineering is the finest .... simples. The colour combination turn a fine car into a brilliant one...... I think you’re bonkers selling it, keep it - store it - love it 🙏👏😜
Well done Nick...a lot of work gone into this machine, and transparency to boot. I too have always loved the shape of the 928 (originally designed as a 911 replacement). GLWS!!!
The 928 is one of the cars that started my journey down the car enthusiast rabbit hole back when I was in high school. I simply LOVED this car when it came out and I've always dreamed of owning one. Sadly, my bank account won't allow it, but I think $43k-$45k is very reasonable considering all the work that's been done. Another few thousand into it and this car would be perfect. If I was financially able I'd certainly make an offer.
I get such a warm and contented feeling seeing how much work has been done to this car. I am being sincere. Not sure why but even seeing the replacement of the rubber seals makes me feel good. This car deserves the care you have given it Nick.
Nick, you should be proud. What a lovely job you’ve done with this car. The new owner will be very pleased. Look forward to your adventures in the ‘tatty’ 993. Fall here also in Eastern Canada. Wonderful drive today in my 3.2. Love the classics. Best to Tui.
Two things: first, nice socks Nick. Second, I wish I was in a position to add another car, I have adored these cars since the first time I saw one. Side note: nick you forgot to add a premium for you owning the car
This is such a beautiful color. I was just going through the Mercedes and BMW configurators and it's such a shame that dark green just isn't an available color option anymore anywhere with very few (typically high-end) exceptions. I remember in my my childhood, right around the time this Porsche 928 S came out, there were lot more colors on the street, including beautiful, deep, rich shades of green. Green also goes well with some of the lighter interior color options I like. Hopefully colors will make a comeback at some point, and won't just be exotic options for high-end Porsches
One of the best videos you ve shot. Wonderful to see the amount of love you ve put on such a great model. Thanks for sharing! Regards from Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸.
Nick Your car looks a treat👍 I have Platinum manual 1982 and they are the best GT touring car still today👍 The Moss green would be my favourite colour for sure and the trim combo on yours is perfect Overall your car is mint really and the chips etc are commensurate with age They are strong, and they have to be used on a regular basis, which I haven’t been able to do with a health condition preventing that Your car is low mileage, and mine only has 110 But like all European cars you have to be prepared to “tinker” with them, and the key is finding a mechanic 👨🔧 who knows 928’s and is motivated That’s the problem I have in Vancouver, very frustrating 😩 Stay safe with the Virus 🦠 still rampant Cheers Frank🥝
Beautiful 928 Nick. I don’t quite understand why the shop that painted the front didn’t do the mirror caps and door edges. At least the edges with touch up paint. 🤨
Beautiful car Nick - if I had the money I'd be be very proud to own it! Keep up with content, it always put's a smile on my face to hear your Kiwi tones :-)
Gullideckels, ‘sewer lids’. Also standard on the 944S, they come in three finishes, this one, which is lightly brushed, anodized, which is rougher, and platinum, which is high polished. I like the polished on light cars and the brushed finish on a dark color, such as this green.
I owned a Miata with the pop-up headlights. At highway speed you could fell it slow down when the lights came up. Muscle car it wasn't but a blast to drive. Great 928 driver!
“I would love to buy this but.......insert 8 million excuses as to why viewers are not going to, or can’t buy this car from you.” Drove a base 928 back in 1999 and can still here that 8 cylinder Porsche engine! Very growl!
My Dad bought a slate blue 928S in 1984, which he sold in 1987 for a rather large profit. I think he is keen for another, which would be a great GT car for an 82 year old man :) ...only problem is we are in Australia!
Gorgeous car and color combo. Great video. It well sell. ....but why not get the small scrapes and scratches you pointed out taken care of with the front repaint? Ideal time to do it really?
what a beautiful car! the interior looks so nice compared to todays bonkers looking dashes with tacked on led displays....lovely instruments and center console
you see lack of 928 appreciation here. Rear a/c is brilliant, you can cool the whole car without loud fan noise, on a hot day you don't get hammered by the heat coming thru the rear window. Its shows why you need time to 'get' a 928 properly.
For anyone that needs to restore cars in terms of hiding paint chips and leather damage on vintage and newer cars should try these products: Dr. ColorChip (Florida) can prove paint colors based on factory paint codes. The professional kit that shops use allows color matching for unique colors, like Moss Green. ColourLock (Germany and UK) can provide dyes and leather filters, plus conditioners and sealants for most cars based on factory leather codes. They can color match custom colors. They are on Amazon for common leather products and ship from the US. Leather dyes and fillers ship from the UK. Hard to believe the detail shop didn't try to fix all that paint damage...for all the paint correction work that went into the 928S.
That is the best 23 min car advert I have ever watched 👍
Growing up as a teenager in the 80’s I LOVED the 928. Such a great car!
Nick - it's you. They're waving at you. You'd could be in a Chevy Malibu from Hertz and they would wave...
One of the most beautiful engine inlet manifolds that Porsche ever created!
Imagine being a rich 80s executive, said the 2020 tech-corporate rich dude.
Well done, looks lovely!
I saw you with the L.A Guns several times ! 😁
If I only lived in the area, I'd love to come see the car in person. She's so pretty, shame to see you selling it. Hope the new owner will treat her well.
So much fun to watch this- thanks for sharing the process with us.

The most perfect color combo on a 928. Simply stunning. If only I had room. GLWS Nick.
Nick you’re really a great guy, I very much enjoy all your videos! Good luck with the sale! Hope all is well.
I was introduced to this car from Risky Business and ever since I’ve loved it. Thanks and best wishes on the sale. She’s a beauty.
This car is a gem. Such a unique Porsche. Shame you have to sell so soon. This is a buyers dream with such a transparent showing of the car. Looking forward to hearing about your new project.
A Nick Murray video with my coffee in the morning is a treat 👍🏻
Nick. You are the most honest car salesman I ever know.
I was about to post that exact thing. 👍
Also note, with the floor mats, a pair of blue socks are included, at no additional cost. What a great car you have Nick.👍🇨🇦
My all-time favorite car. It's such a beautiful design. I love the color combination you've got. I understand the realities of life, but it breaks my heart to see you sell her. When I think of all the great videos that might have been I want to cry. 😢

Lovely car and what an honest appraisal. I hope you get a fair offer.
This is gorgeous car Nick! Shame you’re letting it go already
Car looks stunning Nick!! Great result and will be a great car for someone to cherish!!
Another great video and an awesome car! To me this is close to perfect condition! Hope you sell it fast and another enthusiast gets to enjoy it
I get such a warm and contented feeling seeing how much work has been done to this car. I am being sincere. Not sure why but even seeing the replacement of the rubber seals makes me feel good. This car deserves the care you have given it Nick.
Good luck with sale! It’s rare to see a 928, let alone in that color combo and condition.
Ah, Saturday morning with new Nick content - now its a good weekend.
I’m secretly delighted that I am like 911. Good luck with the sale!
Lovely car, Nick. Hope it goes to a good owner! Good luck with seeing your parents in New Zealand..
Utterly gorgeous. Wish I could buy my next car from Nick.
Looks beautiful and sounds amazing 😍 Good luck with the sale 🍀
I think it’s worth every penny of $50k. Love it.
Lovely honest car, good luck with the sale Nick.
Hope whoever gets this car loves it and finds it joyful to own! Takes me back to wincing at the scene from Risky Business as a kid. 😀
Lends some perspective into the cost of owning and preserving a classic properly . I hope all is well Nick(!) .
Super fun advert, Nick. Good luck with the sale!
Two things: first, nice socks Nick. Second, I wish I was in a position to add another car, I have adored these cars since the first time I saw one.
Side note: nick you forgot to add a premium for you owning the car
Perhaps if he were to transport a couch on top of it, it would add that kind of premium..
I love that moss green. Goes really well with the polished wheels. Good luck with the sale.

Has been 1980s executives be like: "Throw in an 8-ball and a silver-tone coke spoon necklace and you've got a deal!"
The best videos, Nick.
Nick, scratches on a 34 yr old car. I am shattered. Beautiful car!
God!!! What a nice S3 you have there!! Mouthwatering she is and wish she finds a caring home
One of the best videos you ve shot. Wonderful to see the amount of love you ve put on such a great model. Thanks for sharing! Regards from Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸.

Well done on cleaning her up, a lovely car. btw, you should maybe throw in a t-shirt if a fan of the channel picks up the car.
What a beautiful car Nick!
Thank you. I'm putting my 944T on PCar market soon and this is a great script for how I want to do the video.
She's gorge'!!! Good luck with the sale, Nick. An absoluetly sexy front-end, this car's got. '86 was a phenomenally great year!
Beautiful 928 Nick. I don’t quite understand why the shop that painted the front didn’t do the mirror caps and door edges. At least the edges with touch up paint. 🤨
Yes I agree
I love that radio!
Just love this car and the color. Good luck Nick.
Goodbye green beauty! I will miss you on this channel. I had so much hope and expectations.
Very thorough! GLWS & looks like a steal
Beautiful car Nick - if I had the money I'd be be very proud to own it! Keep up with content, it always put's a smile on my face to hear your Kiwi tones :-)
Great car! Hopefully you'll get what you're asking for 928S
You have to give it into good hands. Porsche Museum in Stuttgart should buy it back for their collection.
Wonderful car and a great description... Good luck with the sale!
Great Porsche in great color comco. Nick knows how to really flip a car :)
Gorgeous car, I hope it goes to another good home
What a beauty! You should ask for what you paid for the car plus the money put into it-at least. Good luck!
Oh man...I love 928s! Wish I was in the market! Love that color too!
Looking great love the wheels.

You can tell the light shimmering finish on the wheels at 7:03
I owned a Miata with the pop-up headlights. At highway speed you could fell it slow down when the lights came up. Muscle car it wasn't but a blast to drive. Great 928 driver!

Good luck with the sale, the Tony Montana Porsche has always been a favourite
Nick was the contraceptive device used or new ?
Lovey car. We've got the same Blaupunkt in our '88 Merc SL. 👌
Loving your videos Nick
InstaBlaster...
I wasn't going to buy this car. But the 30-year old unused condom really sold me.
With your 928 on PCar market now hopefully it brings more view to my 944 turbo I have on there at no reserve!
She's in great shape! GLWS.
its literally the best color combination, such a shame to sell it; nearly a museum piece at this point
Good luck with the sale Nick. FYI there is a 991.2 PTS Irish Green Carrera 2 on PC Market now. Has your name on it I think.
So you went through a lot of old used rubbers
Nick, how was Darien Detail not able to do some paint contraction to those door chips and c pillar and side mirror scratches?
My Dad bought a slate blue 928S in 1984, which he sold in 1987 for a rather large profit. I think he is keen for another, which would be a great GT car for an 82 year old man :) ...only problem is we are in Australia!
Nick: you might consider listing the car on Cars and Bids which is Doug DeMiro’s venture for enthusiasts cars from the 80s and newer. Good luck.
I wish I could take it off your hands. My father had one when I was a kid. Always wanted one.
I’m looking for that exact spec 928, but it has to have the original headlight bulbs. 😅
Sorry you have to give it up. It’s beautiful.
Still looks beautiful and low miles. Very nice.
Beautiful car, never seen one in this color combo.
I really hope this gets sold ASAP
Good luck Nick
Gorgeous car and color combo. Great video. It well sell. ....but why not get the small scrapes and scratches you pointed out taken care of with the front repaint? Ideal time to do it really?
what a beautiful car! the interior looks so nice compared to todays bonkers looking dashes with tacked on led displays....lovely instruments and center console
Beautiful car. Such a shame seeing it go so soon but I hope you sell it quickly. At least we have the soft top now.
I was hoping to hear "Dreams" coming out of the Blaupunkt while Nick was drinking from a bottle of Ocean Spray. 😎
Nick- would love the specs for the Blaupunkt as well as the info who did the install for you- thx
My friend Eric did the install, he does all that type of work around here. Can you email me and I will get you all the details
@@NickMurray Email sent yesterday. Thx
What a strange place for the fader button. Down beside the trunk release.
Wonderful. Nice touch on the radio. 👌🏼👌🏼
Any chance that contraceptive device can be sold separately?
you see lack of 928 appreciation here. Rear a/c is brilliant, you can cool the whole car without loud fan noise, on a hot day you don't get hammered by the heat coming thru the rear window. Its shows why you need time to 'get' a 928 properly.
and that so-called "contraceptive device"? Is that new or used?

Wow! Great vid, great practical restoration and as Stevie Wonder says “isn’t she lovely ....” 👍
Excellent review Nick!
Nice wheels sad to see it go ⚡️🔥
Can you switch the steering wheel to the proper side and ship to North Yorkshire?
