With regards to drying a car by throwing a microfiber towel over it and dragging it across the horizontal surfaces: that is the best method according to most professional detailers. Generally this step is proceeded by using air to blow off most of the water. It's super OCD, but it causes the least amount of damage to the paint.
You are the best, funniest, most self effacing TH-camr with honest reviews, and one of the few TH-camrs that I would actually want to meet and probably hang out with. Thank you for your channel.

Nick, rapid towel is a great product. I use it exactly the way most your of your viewers end up cringing. I use the detailers on my 560 SL and my G-model 911 and the large one on my range rover. Massive south Florida downpours do the washing and I just use Rapid towel to mop up . Thank you for turning me onto it.

I am not certain if you did this vid tongue-in-cheek or not. I think your channel is just great, even before I became a 911 owner. Your video on all the options for the new 992 was pivotal in how I spec'd out my 992 Turbo. And, I am/was very sorry NOT to take your advice in NOT bothering with the Turbo, and keeping my 7 speed Carrera!!! Keep it up Nick. Don't let THEM get to you. And again, a BIG thank you!

Tough to break attachments, dogs are faithful and grateful, just give them care and affection. Good on you for fostering. BTW I jumped off the Porsche wagon, swapped my '19 911 C4S (bought new) for a new '23 Nissan GTR 35, a brutal car, it's part of the appeal. Garners much more attention (?) than the 911. Keep up the good work.
