- I spent $6000 modifying my Subaru forester and this is what I ended up with. I still have alot more mods I want to do the the car but when I filmed this video that is where the car stood. I get asked alot about the mods I have done on my Subaru forester and how much they cost so this video breaks down the majority of the mods!

What year is best like can u modify like a 2010 like this and make it look this good so I get the like newer year hopefully it's better or can I only get the older versions
T FORESTERS ARE THE BEST ! = so useful and handy - and fast as ! - lot`s of aftermarket parts and tunes to choose from ! and all bolt on easy and some great kit form HP range target set`s = 450 hp package !
i want all of this on my 07 forester, but just a bit higher with All-Terrain Toyo's with the white lettering, bayside blue with matte black rims. There's a whole side of the forester that street tires leaves dormant. It's in my and many other peoples opinion that the old forester/new outback is the best platform for an offroad vehicle in the world. Edit: If it had a flat/inline 6, street rims all day, fuck offroading. lol

Where did you find the STI lip? Is it originally for a WRX?
Hey would it be possible to know how much it costed for the performance mods only? And how much whp/torque it has now?
I’m not sure from this video, I made an updated video on my channel of the mods if you want to check that out. The cars probably at like 310 or 315 hp and probably close to 3K in performance mods including just the engine and exhaust
As someone who drives offroad and highways would you recommend getting spair wheels and or tyres for each way of travel?
I think it is fine just having one set! I have a friend with an off road inspired forester who drives it daily and off road on the same wheels and tires and it does great. You could totally have two sets but I think it would come down to how often you would feel the need to switch and if theres anything additional you need to do like maybe an alignment. Although that may not be necessary.
I have a 10 xt turbo automatic. You know any specific exhaust mods to make it louder? Or should I just muffler delete?
I’m not as familiar with the 2010s but I would check some of the forester facebook groups for any info but you can’t go wrong with a muffler delete
What would you suggest for a NA exhaust ? Custom muffler shop ? Or do turbo Subaru catbacks fit on ?
I’m not entirely sure on that but I would look into n/a Impreza exhausts from around then because I think I’ve heard that certain years of those fit. I would look into some Forester Facebook groups too to see if there’s some info there
How much power does this make? I'm looking at doing a similar build but a little less on the exterior. Also is a 2 or 2.5L? looks sick
On this setup not sure maybe 260, on my most recent setup it was around 300 which I covered part of it in the $10,000 mods vid I have and it’s the 2.5

did you get your bumpers painted? mine are plastic and I've seen a lot that are painted and it looks super nice
chris Guzman they actually came that way if that’s what you’re asking! I know some foresters came two tone from factory but these ones came painted, definitely gives it a clean look🤙
What type of bumper did you use and you when people said they use sti part does that mean forester sti parts or wrx sti
Stuart Sheppard the bumper is the oem bumper with an importology style lip that just bolts on and the parts are from WRX/STI

James Gilliam I’m currently selling my volvo 240s to get a 2004 or 2006 forester xt. I cant wait. What does it mean that it goes thru so much oil? Isn’t that a bad thing?
Einsteinium252 honestly not really! Just gotta check the oil every once in a while between oil changes and top it off if its low 🤙
James Gilliam i have only worked on volvo 240s non turbo’s so I’m unfamiliar with an engine losing oil other than a leak somewhere. What’s the reason it need to be topped off n stuff where is the oil going??
Einsteinium252 not sure I haven’t looked too much into but I just know that certain Subarus tend to burn more oil than most but it’s still really not that bad. I check mine somewhat often and I’ll add a little if it needs it but it’s not bad
Should I get a 1st gen or a 2004-6 foz? Also great build might take inspiration if I get one
Thank you, if you’re not looking for a turbo model than it’s really just a personal preference on the looks. Although the 04-06 is going to feel newer. I’d suggest driving both then deciding

Yes it does snow, you can look at my Instagram for pictures too. It still does pretty good with it being low and on mediocre tires

The Champ nope had a couple mods already done to it like the turbo and intake, looking to get a new turbo now as well though since this one cracked recently and the car was in like 9/10 shape

No but check @foresterparts on Instagram for lips for that year. I’m sure eBay has lips for your year too
How reliable is it ?
Dani A been daily driving it for 4 years without a problem. My vf39 turbo cracked but I knew it was going to happen and I already have another turbo ready to go In as soon as these last couple things I’m waiting on arrive

What did you get?
Ive got a late model xt2.5, with 18 inch xxrs, not much done to it at the moment, except for the subaru 4pots, disks and redstuff pads all round. (Dont get redstuff btw, get yellow or orange, the red brakefades too easily).
I had to replace the engine recently, so that set me back a couple k, and more on top of that doing maintenance. The old engine is about to go and get sleeved and rebuilt with forged bottom end, nitrided crank, and then build up with some power mods
I agree with you tho, style mods are cool, but I want base to match the looks first.

1. Cars don't produce ozone or deplete it.
2. catalytic converters don't reduce ozone depleting molecules/atoms. Give the guy a thumbs up if you liked the video except the part you don't understand how it works to start with 😆
It will look better with another wheels because in my opinion are ugly but it's my opinion
