I got a new dr sept 6 because my prior one was retiring. Found out my A1c was 14😳. He prescribed me 10 units of insulin to take at bedtime. Needless to say I Got back on carnivore beef, bacon, butter, and eggs that day on September 6. I took three shots and I decided that I wasn’t going to take any more because if I don’t have carbohydrates going in then why am I taking these shots? I know that there could be some glucose dumping from my liver and I anticipate that but I am waiting to see what my next A1c reading will be. I know that the dailies are kind of like a monitoring baseline of what’s going on, but I do remember Dr. Berry saying he’s not so much concerned about the daily as he is that A-1 C. So, in December, we will see!😊

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I turned 60 this year. At 57, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I was told to not lift and be careful when I move. No conversation about strength and resistance training or diet. I did take Ibandronate. I knew I didn’t want to take the meds. I was already on Atorvastin, prescription iron, Singular, Zrytec, Albuterol, & fluticasone furoate. I was on Singular and Zyrtec for 40 years. I thought those were the least concerning as I have allergies and asthma. I got bronchitis every Spring and Fall for years. I found you and others in January. I’ve been no carbs, no sugar, and doing strength and resistance training. Coming off Zyrtec, felt like I was a drug addict going through withdrawals. I scratched everywhere until I bled. It was awful. I am now off all prescriptions and only take vitamins. I feel stronger than ever. My allergists told me I would be on Zytrec forever. I eat three meals a day with zero snacking. I never feel hungry. I have not been sick once this year! Thank you!

So every annual they are baffled I’m not on any medications ( grew up on a farm) lots of fresh air sunshine & critters! Raw milk(ohhh that top milk was so delish!) Swam in the irrigation ditch! Swallowed a lot of that water learning to swim! Never, ever get colds. Got bronchitis once, gave me a heavy sulphur drug made me sicker than the bronchitis! Old enough to be your Momma

They gave him a paper to sign and when he asked what it was they were giving him, told him the Doctor ordered this infusion. He was 80 and couldn't even read the paper they had him sign. No informed consent at all, no information at all about what he was given. He had a severe reaction and at 1 AM he passed out and fell and broke his right arm in the fall. It was a nightmare. He never even got an apology from the Doctor! This is the state of medical care today. We are totally disgusted.

Two days later I was in bad shape including bleeding rectally. I called the number of the drug manufacturer and they asked what my symptoms were and they said to stop taking it immediately. They said that it was shutting down my liver and my other vital organs. When I called my doctor back to give her an update she was absolutely enraged that I called the drug company. It saved my life initially because it was acute, but the doc never told me what the side effects could be long term. The nurse told me that idiopathic means (idiot), lol, they don't know what caused it. I finally found a functional/integrative doc who told me I was dangerously low in vit. D, It was 8. After some research I concluded that was the cause because vit D is necessary for platelet production. They never tested my vit D in the ER.

Years ago I went to the doctor to ask about side effects and do my due diligence before giving my baby cupcakes, and she went crazy. She was threatening and gave my baby the things in front of me with no consent whatsoever. As I was working in a hospital setting myself at the time, and was aware of informed consent, I was shocked. Back then there was no internet so I had to go to the library to read medical journals and books, but I found the answers to my questions. Then I changed my doctor.
