Which of this product have the best gloss/ mirror effect? Gyeon One EVO or Gyeon CanCoat Evo:? Can I use Gyeon Q2M Ceramic Detailer on Gyeon CanCoat Evo?
I’ve been using Wet Coat as a drying aid and gloss enhancer with my washes. It gets great results and is amazingly easy to apply; the only work it adds is walking around the wet car after washing to spray a few spritzes per panel, and then you dry the car same as normal. For me, this replaced Bead Maker because the results are similar but it’s much less work and time to use.
I have never tried Gyeon products. But, after this presentation, I will now invest in the entire line of products. You are definitely right, the packaging and presentation is eye catching. I would buy them just to have them displayed on shelving in my garage. As always, your delivery style is spot on. I appreciate the research. I would like to see all the products tested.
Marketing is powerful! Happy New Year! Yes, please do the MOHS. Personally, I don't see a reason to go with the ONE or PURE, since MOHS can be applied so easily. Alternatively, foe easiness is the CAN COAT.

I used a Swedish brand, Car Care Products (CCP). And their coating "Sator". Up to 18 months protection. You have probably not heard of it. I found it easy to install. Wetlook. Excellent hydrophobics. I Will maintain the paint with ph-neutral soap and CCC Hydrosilex. A ceramic sealant.

I really like Gyeon products and I will have to do an install with one of their coatings. I don't quite see the need for the choices as I would only install the best. Definitely worth a go :)
Can't wait to see syncro in action, I have the previous "gen" applied on my current car for 3 years now and I'm going to redo the entire car as I have a high spot on my hood. Thanks for the video I just started detailing little over a year ago and normally just did stainless and aluminum. Now I am kinda slow thought the winter and have bin do some paint buffing lately. I just ordered the PURE. Am excited to try it out.

Pretty much all my videos are unscripted. Sometimes though, with new products, I do have some notes just to help with some details, as I test hundreds and hundreds products every year. It's near impossible to remember everything about each product by heart.

You can't compare an entry level consumer grade coating like the AvalonKing with prosumer grade high end coatings like CarPro or Gyeon in my opinion. If you're looking for a beginner coating, 2+ years of protection, and that is the easiest coating to apply, then AvalonKing Armor Shield IX is the one for you. If you already have experience with ceramic coatings, and just want the best possible consumer grade version, go for the CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 or one of the new Gyeon EVO coatings, those are top grade. Hoping for a torture test of the can coat, with some solvent based degreasers and some high ph and so on. Gyeon really raised the bar, with just 1 layer. No one, want to do 2-4 layers 🙈
So based on the descriptions, is the Mohs a totally different chemical than the One and Pure products? The other 2 just says SiO2 while the Mohs says polysilazane. Great descriptions and explanation of use and durability differences, BTW.
Be careful if you are buying some of these. Most places still sell the Q2 Cancoat for $39.00, but you have to look for the newer EVO version that sells now for $59.00. Esorteric has the newer ones for $59, Car Supplies Warehouse for $64.00

Which is the better maintenance product if youre looking for gloss then bead then cost: Gyeon wax Vs Wet coat + ceramic detailer or quick detailer Vs Cure
You can't have it all in one single product hehe. The glossiest is probably the Gyeon Wax. It has some crazy water beading if you like that. But it's the longest to apply. You can see it in my demo here: th-cam.com/video/dOv-k6vRZ8c/w-d-xo.html WetCoat has decent gloss, excellent hydrophobics, and is the quickest to apply (it's spray on, rinse off). Cure is my least favourite of the three. Average gloss, average hydrophobics, can sometimes be streaky. Many people dilute it a bit. You have to pick what's best for your needs.

Great video as always. I honestly want you to test everything. Lol! You can maybe make a video on how to stack products. For example, CarPro cquartz lite is durable but it's not slick or shiny. So maybe we can add P S bead maker on top of it after every wash or Gyeon ceramic detailer after washes. It's just an example and correct me if I'm wrong. Basically, least number of products that we can stack up for protection with durability, shine and slickness.
started experimenting with coatings using cancoat. was really happy with it. then applied pure on my car. was superb!! last summer I changed that to mohs. did not like the fact that you had to apply 2 coats of mohs to get some decent results. looking forward to these evo series

Correct. We don’t use Bead Maker for its durability (it only lasts 2-4 weeks). We use it as a topper or drying aid to boost gloss and slickness.

Super interested in that, as I've got plans to apply it next year in spring, would love to see your take on it, how you'd go about it, and your thoughts and the results on that.
It has been out for a few years now so I doubt I'll do a video specifically for it, but it still ranked in first place in my latest awards video for one of the top three consumer grade coatings. Here: th-cam.com/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4lfCyWQqQfHGBphK
As recommended, apply 2 layers of Mohs (1 hour between layers), and one hour after your last layer of Mohs, apply one layer of Skin. That trio of layers should get you 3 to 4 years of real world protection. Super easy application, insane results!

En septembre, j'ai mis Apex Metal Oxide sur ma nouvelle Murano et j'ai quelques "high spots". J'ai essayé de contacter Brian à plusieurs reprises le lendemain, mais il m'a jamais répondu. Cette nouvelle ligne de Gyeon semble beaucoup plus facile à utiliser. Merci encore et porte-toi bien!

Which is the better maintenance product if youre looking for gloss then bead then cost:
Gyeon wax
Vs
Wet coat + ceramic detailer or quick detailer
Vs
Cure
You can't have it all in one single product hehe. The glossiest is probably the Gyeon Wax. It has some crazy water beading if you like that. But it's the longest to apply. You can see it in my demo here: th-cam.com/video/dOv-k6vRZ8c/w-d-xo.html
WetCoat has decent gloss, excellent hydrophobics, and is the quickest to apply (it's spray on, rinse off).
Cure is my least favourite of the three. Average gloss, average hydrophobics, can sometimes be streaky. Many people dilute it a bit.
You have to pick what's best for your needs.

I honestly want you to test everything. Lol!
You can maybe make a video on how to stack products. For example, CarPro cquartz lite is durable but it's not slick or shiny. So maybe we can add P S bead maker on top of it after every wash or Gyeon ceramic detailer after washes. It's just an example and correct me if I'm wrong.
Basically, least number of products that we can stack up for protection with durability, shine and slickness.

started experimenting with coatings using cancoat. was really happy with it. then applied pure on my car. was superb!! last summer I changed that to mohs. did not like the fact that you had to apply 2 coats of mohs to get some decent results.
