What is your opinion on Sio2 shampoos?

    • @archiepezek

I've used a couple different ones and didn't care for them. Like you said, I'd rather use a regular soap with lubrication and apply the si02 myself. Thanks for the video Brian.

The only one I use is the TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Shampoo. I use it on my personal cars as a maintenance wash. I'm perfectly satisfied with it as I use much of their Hybrid line on my cars, so I use the SIO2 Shampoo as part of the Hybrid Solutions system. It works really well within that narrative.

Thanks for the great video. Will give this product a shot. I didn’t have the greatest luck with mothers cmx…but seeing how well this did after a contact and dwell, your demonstration proved how well it things came back / unclogged

I appreciate the review as 3D has been making some nice products. When this technology first came out I bought a bottle and threw it away after two uses. Just spraying a drying aid is easier and allows for a more lubricious soap to be used like Apex.

Great review Brian never have been a fan of the protection shampoos. I’m always putting a dedicated topper almost after each wash. Always appreciate the content and hard work you put in to bringing us videos.

Thanks for this review, Brian. It reinforces my opinion. I have tried one but have decided that I prefer a quality wash with nothing added be it SIO2 or wax. Just plain good shampoo. I'll do the two step dance - wash and then wax (or whatever).

Good tips. I think that the combo shampoo will be off my list from now on. Straight shampoo is going to be my go to from here on in. 🇨🇦👍👍 PS The Stoner ceramic and speed beads detailers are now in my stock after your review of them.

FYI, I don't use a ceramic shampoo. But I do like the 3D Nano Pale Shampoo. I use 1oz in foamer & 1 oz in bucket. It is highly concentrated. My next shampoo will be P & S Pearl shampoo, also can be used as a rinseless. After I foam, I rinse down to up, then up to down. Thanks for your expertise...

Although I use alot of 3d products i stay away from the glw line . I think that line is geared towards the people that are looking for a step up from anything Walmart has to offer. Ill stick with the gyeon shampoo line . Ty for the video .

Brian have you tried the armor all ceramic shampoo? I don't use it as a wash, but it foams well and leaves good protection so I foam it on after the wash.

These shampoos perform better in a pressure foamer. A large amount is wasted in the backet, as we see there is much water left. The same amount of product if it was thrown in a pump foamer, would make a much higher concentration of solution. So when foaming part by part, the foam would sit on the mitt and on the panel, not in the backet

Not sure if this has ever asked before so apologize if that already happened. But what if you would add another bit of good shampoo together with this stuff in that same bucket, something that is really slick?

hello my friend....i sent u dr beasleys ceramic body wash a few years back which you were very impressed with. is it still the best in that category????? has no si02 in it but was created to clean and rejuvinate coated vehicles and in that video u stated you may have finally found the best shampoo and was very impressed with the lubrication.
    just wondering...be well my friend

I think the entire detailing industry has gone bonkers, I rinse, foam with shampoo and wash, yet to mar or even micro mar a car, wasted money, wasted product wasted time, if you want protection apply it separately don’t over complicate the process

    • @adamcoe
      @adamcoe 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

If you've contact washed a car, you've marred it on some level. Maybe you can't see it immediately, but even the nicest towel with the nicest soap still leaves very small marks that add up eventually.

Not, 28 yr veteran, understand how the game is played, 9-10 ppl don’t know what micro marring is if no one’s ever complained you’ve never done it
