Great tips Toni. I have adjusted my set-up so many times, but the makeshift one that I have now works so well. When recording on the IPhone/IPad, once tilted, if you touch and hold on the screen and wait until a sun looking thing and a box pops up, it will keep it from doing the auto focus and hold it at the brightness and focus setting that it is on. I normally do this after I give it something to focus on so that it keeps the same brightness and distance for where I am. tfs Have a great weekend.
I have also seen people make little vellum covers over their lights to keep the shadows down.

Don’t replace your mat, just flip it around so the damage is at the back where it won’t show. You could cut out another logo, and peel off the one that would be upside down. Question: I’ve heard that some people set up their iPad so they can see what’s in frame in the video they’re taking with the iPhone. Do you know how that works? Thank you so much for sharing! 💐

It irks me so bad when people post vertical videos 😐🙈😅 I use to use a combination of ring lamps & reg lamps with day light bulbs, I have large professional soft box lights too but I use them mostly for videos where I’m showcasing a large area. I find smaller ones like the ones you have are perfect for desk top videos. Happy New sweetie!! Did baby come yet??☺️🎀💜🍭
