Easy overhead camera setup for filming with phone OR digital camera!

Filming overhead angles for craft tutorials, product reviews, nail art, and drawing or journal with me videos can actually be really affordable and easy to do! This video will show you two different ways to achieve that birds-eye-view angle with rigs that are easy to set up, portable, and compatible with smart phone cameras AND vlogging cameras. Making videos without showing your face is a lot easier if you have a reliable camera set-up for filming your hands.
I'll be getting back to filming art and craft videos soon, but I figured I'd throw this information out there for anyone who's starting a TH-cam channel in 2020 and needed some tips on overhead filming rigs.

Oof, I've had a hard time finding more of those selfie sticks....this one on amazon evidently has the 1/4 screw thread in the bottom!

Adjust your lighting so that it’s coming from the front and sides rather than overhead. Lighting is tricky, i have dealt with this issue a lot!

that's definitely a downside. I recently bought an overhead tripod that came with a mirror attachment to help this problem...the mirror itself isn't great, but i think you could find a bendable rear-view mirror (the kind they make for bikes) on amazon that would let you see your screen while you're filming.
