A new dark fantasy Three Kingdoms action RPG from Team NINJA, the developers of Nioh.
184 AD, Later Han Dynasty China. The land is overcome by chaos and destruction. The imperial dynasty that prospered for many years is now about to collapse.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.
Wo Long refers to a crouching dragon, and also refers to a hero or person of greatness who is not yet known. This is the story of officers, who will later become heroes, during their ‘unknown’ period, and also the story of a protagonist’s rise from being a ‘nobody’.
A dark fantasy set during the chaotic Three Kingdoms period, the narrative vividly tells the tale of a militia soldier’s strenuous fight for survival during a Later Han Dynasty infested with demons. It’s madness in the Three Kingdoms like never before!

If you get on the roof where the tiger is and stand over the fire the tiger will burn to death and is a really good farm to get op at the beginning I just found out

Quick tip that might help people deflecting: The enemies turning red is almost always to early to hit deflect, it is more a heads up to get ready to deflect. The enemies weapon/limb will flash in a spark of whitish light to signal the exact reflect timing. Look out for that on attacks that you have trouble getting it right, helped me a lot.

Great, just finished the demo and I'll be getting the game in a few days. I like to go in blind and then watch Cowboy's videos to see what I miss and learn from his commentary and enjoy the jokes. I'm amazed at how quickly he's making this walkthrough.
I finally beat Zhang Liang last night after dying at least thirty times. It was a rush I hadn't felt since beating Margit in Elden Ring. Thank you for your guidance Cowboy.

It’s utterly absurd to compare this difficulty to Elden Ring. What are you smoking? This game is infuriating, half the time I am confident I deflect properly and the game doesn’t detect it. I’ve beaten all Souls games INCLUDING Sekiro and none of them come close to the difficulty of this flaky laggy POS combat system.
@@The0nlyy You just can't admit to yourself that you're bad at this game and it hasn't clicked with you yet. It's not Sekiro and not ment to be played the same way. You should hold block all the time while attempting parries. I beat this boss first try coming from Nioh.
Nioh games are way harder then anything From Software ever put out until you realise that they're just different and after switching the playstyle they become a joke.
This guy single handedly helped me navigate sekiro shadows die twice. Could not have done it without you. Thanks. Will definitely tune in for wo long as well

I had to have his Sekiro walkthrough on through every step of the game. He is a comforting presence while navigating very difficult, intense games. Plus he knew game progression paths to take so you don't get in over your head before leveling up and then there's his knowledge of fighting tough enemies which was invaluable.

I my god dude idk why I was having a hard ass time with the intro boss I died 20 times and for some reason the way cowboy explained the mechanics and the fight and what to do dude nailed it first try after watching this!!! I died 20 times before!!!! I’m finally getting into the game thank you COWBOY!!!!

And little tricks like holding block while parrying, using the recover health wood ability to the max are why I shall continue to come back! Awesome start Cowboy. That first boss was almost the end of my Wo Long journey but after many tries I finally got him. As soon as you get past him the game opens up to a much more enjoyable experience. And honestly, you'll smash the next several bosses with much less difficulty.
Tbh first boss isnt that hard when you master deflecting, which is why i think the game basically incentivizes you do do so because he has two godamn phases. Once you get deflect timings down he's basically a joke.
darn sad i think i will end this game at the first boss - irritating but hey Resident evil 4 is almost out now so oh well. thank the gaming gods for game-pass

Got to the first boss and rushed him phase 1 likr you said and did not get hit a single time , deflect on phase 2 and bam first try !!! After playing through blind and getting over the learning curve that the boss presents, than starting a new character to follow the walkthrough and slapping the first boss first try felt good

Quick tip for that tiger IF you really want to take it out. Get on the roof just like Cowboy did and do a leaping stealth attack then run around and get on that same roof and do it again while it attacks Blindfold Boy.. the Boy is pretty much immortal

I just finished with Cowboy's Sekiro walkthrough. Still playing Sekiro, but now that there's another walkthrough for Wo Long, I can play that, too. Cowboy rubs off on you, eventually. I also did the DS3 walkthrough with his clips. Against Genichiro, he recommends to stay on him. There was NO way I could do that first run through. I could only dream about it. I did it in the first NG, though. It was awesome. He's still a lot better than me, though. Great teacher.

26:12 What Cowboy said. So this boss IS REALLY GOOD DEFLECT PRACTICE!. I died on purpose in 2nd phase multiple times before killing him to get used to the timings.

When I first started that game I quit for a little while I couldn't beat it but then I came back I slap up that boss after learning how to kill that boss now I am having fun with game got far I surprised myself because I am not really good at games like this any souls game I always have problems but I managed to over come a game
Mmmm what I’ve been waiting for
So finally beat him, the advice on patience is so true- just block or dodge the regular attacks and only attack him during his “red” attack
small tip: when you are at the last battle flag, go to travel, hit "current" and check at the bottom of your current mission if you have all the icons (scrolls, panda, vein) in color. If not: it is easier to backtrack then it is redoing the level.
How many levels or how long does it take till u go against lu bu?

Just got done beating Bloodborne again here is some advice if you are struggling with this boss. Once you see the red don't press circle right away think of it like dodging at the last second like on Bloodborne. Also for the first phase 4 hits to build up your spirit and then hit him with triangle takes out his poise a lot.
Cowboy is the best at what he does!
I played the first boss all hold block and parry before I even saw your guide. Didn’t risk the attack x4 and spirit attack on the first form, just waited for for a parry on combo end or red attack and got in a couple of slashes into a spirit attack. Took about 4 crit parry’s to end first form then just followed suit on the second form. Also didn’t notice the divine beast gauge and just kept deflecting and countering till he died. About 4 red dot crit attacks total. Same cutscene either way. Died 3 times learning patterns then whomped him.
Lots of great tips. Been beating my head against the wall but have made okay process. Probably shouldn’t have leveled wood as much as I have though.

Is there any blocked sense if say your not useing a capture card?
