2 THINGS to KEEP in MIND 1. I'm on my way to get better at pronunciation, forgive my English, this channel is meant to allow me to improve. 2. This is my Main Spanish YT channel, I translate all the videos myself. I could use AI, but my goal is to get better, not to be lazy.
As someone who speaks zero Spanish I applaud you for taking the time and effort to make this understandable for us. You'll only get better but your doing great already!
Todally depends on the price in your area. The ROG Ally X costs 899€ in germany, while you can get the ROG Ally Z1E for 550 to 599€ for months now. Imo thats a pretty significant price difference.
Both are great devices along with the LeGo the OG Ally with Z1 extreme and others If your in the market for a handheld pick the one that fits your budget and specs you want . None would be a wrong choice .
I have the original Ally, and the Ally X. The Ally X fixes all the problems with the original Ally. This barely gets warm. It can also take larger M.2 SSD’s so you can have more storage…. This review is great. I agree with everything said. It’s a great machine.
For me, ergonomically it feels pretty good. Premium is not what it feels like as I've said, the best comparison for me is an Xbox controller. But definitely I should try the steam deck's Oled.
No VRR, low frame rate screen, low resolution screen, weaker processor, I hate trackpads on handhelds because I have big hands (they get in my way). ROG Ally X is my favorite handheld console.
I don't think so. The next Steam deck will of course be more powerfull, but the problems it currently has with the OS will be exactly the same. But at the end, if they have a competitive price, that's where it is going to stand out.
@BenTech-US so you think steam deck2 must be windows 12 you actually can put windows on deck if you like to use it as pc or for antichat games bit they said windows not good for bettery life
Steam big picture mode has nothing on steam OS besides the basic theme and UI. You still don’t get proper sleep mode, proper TV resolution changing like docking a Nintendo Switch, no system controls like FPS limits, Bluetooth, or WiFi in the steam overlay, and still have to fight with armory crate controller input anywhere else in the system. Bazzite is close, but not quite there.
@@smsmafia Those functions are all built into Armory Crate and / or Windows settings and Steam Overlay / Sidepanel cannot access them to adjust them. I've really enjoyed my Ally X ever since i got it, but coming from a Steam Deck it takes a minute to get used to how it feels in the hands. Also for me I hated using it with Windows; it just felt so slow and games and apps would break if i put it to sleep for a bit and jumped back on . I ended up installing Bazzite on it and even though that has some issues too, it feels a lot better to use in a gaming console type of way.
Thanks for your video, great job and very good on the English. I recently looked at gaming handhelds. Decided on the Ally X for all of the reasons you mentioned. Even though the Ally X is more powerful than Steam Deck, I still have to run most of my games on medium settings. The Ally X will play more games and newer games for longer than Steam Deck. That means that money spent now will play newer games for a longer period of time. For those looking to get a handheld, while OLED is nice and some people are very passionate about it, it’s not that big of a deal on such a tiny screen. The Ally X has an excellent screen. If I have to have OLED it will be on my TV, not a 7” screen. I’m not dissing anyone who got the Steam Deck, I’m glad you are playing and hope you get thousands of entertainment hours enjoying it, I just went a different direction and am happy with my choice. (I also got it for the price of a Steam Deck OLED by purchasing a returned unit in mint condition.)
Thank you very much! At the end of the day, being more powerful doesn't mean you have to use it, it means that you can even run it at a low power and get a better experience while making the battery last longer. Thank you a lot for your comment!
Yep, that was exactly what I wanted. I'm experimenting with the Retention inside YT algorithm :). If I start lowering volume or making an outro, people leaves before the video ends. I'm just testing, I'll see how it works out. Thank you very much for your comment!

Yes of course, that is to be rewarded, but blind fidelity to a brand never helps the market get any better. Hope they keep competing and creating better products.
@@BenTech-US you’re right but also Asus failed badly in terms of customer service. I have some products from them and I hope they last. Otherwise it will be a huge L for me
Id say if you have the finances for it definitely upgrade for a more performance sided handheld such as the ally, but the steam deck for what it is and the community backing it at that price point is hard to argue against, having valve support also helps sell that device and the oled upgrade is huge. Either way you dont lose with either device its all based on your personal preference and financial situation. Lets not make this some pointless argument like i see in some of the comments because at the end of the day we all are winning regardless of what you get, lets be happy we live in the timeline with handheld pc’s
Yup! at the end of the day I see no wrong choices between them, If you are looking for the best, prepare your wallet, but we're lucky we have more affordable options that already have a lot of potential.
I agree with you 100% in the last part. Alot of steam deck fanboys trash on windows handhelds like Rog Ally so much when in fact, Rog Ally can do what steam deck does and more. If installed with Bazzite, it's actually even more better than steam deck.
bazzite has certain bugs and issues with rog ally x .. so id rather wait for the official support from Valve, since they are prepping their SteamOS to support hardware outside Steam Deck.
@BenTech-US Not really the price difference is not that big anymore. I got my ally x for 650. A steam deck oled is like 549-650. So you're a actually getting worse value with the steam deck oled.
@@justswitched8841 i can get a 1tb oled (upgraded from 512gb) at 480$-550$ used from eBay... this is stupid.. why even try to play this second hand market when trying to justify price lmfao 🤦

Other than the rog x being more powerful, the steam deck is better in every way . Even the steam decks battery is very close if not slightly less than the rog x because it’s not using as much power. Steam deck is still king 💯
Well, i don't believe so, every battery test I've seen is pretty far away. But yes, the optimization may be better. But why do I want better optimization if I can't play some games? where''s the point. Like I said in other comments, at the end of the day we're lucky there's plenty of options and each one brings something different to the table, I don't believe there are bad choices in this regard.
Get a laptop. All those windows handhelds are basically windows devices with attached controllers. The steam deck is the only device which trily has a console experience, built from the ground up. @BenTech-US I understand might be different there but I'm the USA the 1tb is 799 and 2 tb is 899 you can look at it on best buy once u click on the rog ally x it gives u the option between 2tb and 1 tb
Absolutely, as I say during the video, that's my main complain,. there are other handhelds that do a better job at making you feel that it is a premium product. But I think it's due to the weight cut off, that they had to use light plastic. I guess if they combined plastic with magnesium or alluminium of some kind it would feel pretty good overall, but being one of the most expensive, it should feel more premium in the hands.
Actually steam deck oled looks more advanced than ally x , lcd tiny screen less buttons it's ally the first one just with better ram and bettery life , but this your opinion the only device can be better than steam deck is onexplayer Xl
Advanced? not really, just a better screen if you can say that, because it's only the OLED, in resolution/refresh rate is actually worst. With the specs on paper is worst almost in every way. But the fact is that it is a well priced and designet piece of tech that works really good. They're simply different for now, I like to see each brand making different aproaches to the handheld world.

Steam just has had more fanboys for a lot longer and they carried over to the steam deck. Honestly, Linux ain't it when it comes to gaming. This is coming from a guy that uses arch on my laptop but windows on my gaming PC.
I don't think there's much wrong with gaming on Linux with proton. Most games run fine without any performance loss. That's why many are installing Bazzite on their ROG Ally/X. Allows for better sleep functionality. Windows is a pain with sleep mode. Stick your device in a bag in sleep, it'll be overheated and the battery drained when you take it out. Windows is your only choice if you use other stores/launchers or multiplayer games with anticheat.

It's need olde and bigger screen too like 7.4 or 8
