Between car payment, insurance, fuel and maintenance; my overhead is $100/day. Uber is taking 50%+. I’m doing more and more private. My riders love it. Good service, reliable, clean late model vehicle. My repeat business is amazing!

My acceptance rate is 2% and I do 1-3 trips a week uber is taking a large cut of the fare 60-80%
Orlando Uber pay runs between $.30 and $.50 per mile, worst in the country. The main reason for this is they offer a referal bonus if you recruit someone to drive. Now its completely over populated with drivers, and the newbies are falling for these low paying traps. Its horrible and should be illegal.

Lol I called customer support because it 2 hours I made 7 dollars and they said if I'm disappointed with my money I should get a different job then goes to say there's low demand and alot of driver you see the problem is they over hire which brings are money down super crazy

I wouldn't believe or trust anything Dara K has to say or promises he's attempting to make... or David R, for that matter. Those guys have not and will not ever have the drivers best interest in mind.
The part of the video where CEO Dara Khosrowshahi says: "We started listening to the drivers. " , clearly means, Uber was not listening to their drivers at all before.

I'm an Uber Eats worker. I'm one of those who will leave the platform someday because it's no longer worth dedicating time to making the Uber administrators happy. I am treated by my government as a self-employer while uber treats me as an employer with a minimum wage. Lately I've been getting orders with a lot of miles and little money, and between car insurance and petrol, car maintenance costs and sometimes we get fines that we drivers pay to collect the order. I no longer earn money to support my family. When orders arrive I am forced not to accept them because they make them inconvenienced. I would like them to go and make deliveries around the city and so they can see all the shit that is around. Excuse my outburst

I did 1 ride for Uber in two weeks and no ride for lyft for 2 weeks because it is junk left and right. I'm not going to drive for 25 minutes for 6 dollars BIG F NO, and my accepting rite it was 69%now is 14%😅 dont care anymore
Not always pay better behave better… there are very many ENTITLED drivers out there ..
It's an insult for Khosrowshahi to pretend he doesn't know what the problem is. Uber was best when there was surges and quests.I only do it part time and could go out on the weekend and make 500-600 EASILY. More if I actually worked hard. Now I am luky if I make 300. And Uber KNOWS THAT. They got rid of incentives and are keeping over half the fare. It's ridiculous to think they don't understand why people aren't accepting their sh*t fares.
What's preventing a person from creating a new platform and doing all customers right from Riders to Drivers ???? 🤔
