    Im confused, some of those orders were decent if you did them in a strategic way. If im reading that breakdown correctly, you were online 45/46 hrs, active 2.5 hrs and made 100 dollars? If im correct yes you made about 40 dollars an hour for active time but you wasted A WHOLE work week. I don't think you're doing this very efficiently. If im not understanding something please let me know.

      I see ur perspective but I wouldn’t say I wasted. I protected my opportunity cost because I was at home doing something that I wanted to do. So having app on is just saying I’m available for something that fits my threshold. I also have a remote job. So if I’m home and a $30 3 mile Uber eats order comes in I’ll do it and head back home. I’ve wasted no time and my resources are preserved. Goal is really to get 5-6 rides a day while I’m in comfort of my home. That’s my strategy.

      @@DriveLikeASniper And that is how you do it. Layering. I was concerned you were sitting in a parking lot somewhere, but that is a perfect strategy. One I am employing is looking for good flappable items on marketplace at the end destination. Every once in awhile I can get a really good deal, then flip it myself later at home. I have a hybrid SUV so I got the storage space. I figure getting paid to go pick up an item I bid 30% on is a fun profit layering strategy.

    5:07 How many hours did you spend outside of your home, not making money otherwise, and how does that effect the hourly? Ride sniping is def. effective, depending on the area, but it really comes down to how you are doing it too. If you are sitting for 2 hours to get 1 good ride that kinda sucks. It is far better for less wear and tear, but that's about it.

    I have stats like this on Lyft in my area lol. Ive found no matter how well you drive ot kee your car, people will still vote you down, sometimes just because they had a bad day at work or whatever and its out of your control. Ill be a 5 star driver for 3 weeks and suddenly im 4.9 because some random passenger voted me >3 stars for braking too hard or whatever. Lyft in my area s also way better at driver incentives like bonuses and streaks. It definitely depends on the area the driver is in, but ive driven for both uber and Lyft for several years and have made way, way more with lyft than with uber.

    • @RokkBeard
      @RokkBeard 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @manuelrosario2107 The issue is that Uber has consistently lowered drivers rates over the last few years, and they prey on new drivers with shit cars. The consistent inflow of people just accepting all rides kills the profitability, and it becomes essentially a way to pull cash out of your vehicle. Operational cost for most UberX vehicles are around .30 cents a mile. That means most of the time you aren't really making money, once you factor in oil changes, tires, brakes, gas etc. You could say just go get another job, but some of us like doing courier work, or transportation. Remove Uber's corporate greed and up to 60% cuts of driver pay, and we will start taking every ride again... TL:DR Those 3 doller uberx rides are actually paid for by the driver, and that isn't even close to fair.

    i had an uber driver pick me up at the airport during the rain and started speeding to my home. I told him to slow down but later on he sped up again. Second time i told him to slow down and after he, did the car in front of swerved to the right hit the side and flipped over. We stopped and it was a woman who was doing uber, probably speeding to a ride she picked up. I'll never forget her stare as i told her i called 911 and told her goodbye. I hope everyone gives you 1 star and because of your video every uber driver that speeds in the future i will give 1 star and complain. Oh and yes i did give a bad rating to my driver who was speeding.
