    To the guy who called in: don’t let the comment pros derail you. Odds are most of them aren’t any better at poker than you. And you are actively seeking out advice and critique looking to improve. This is what all the best poker players have done from the beginning. You will also find that the very best poker players tend to be humble rather than condescending. Relativity they have all been bad at some point. And also realizing what they know now will seem amateurish to them 5 years from now.
    Keep doing what you are doing and you will continue to get better results as your understanding of the game improves. Kudos for making yourself public and open to criticism . And kudos to Bart who is a consummate professional.

For two its great that Bart takes all kinds of hands at all levels. For three this one call will improve the guys game and thought process a lot. For four, i think in poker we search so much for validation of our strategy and how good we are that its a relief to jump on soneone thats played a hand badly because it feels like we actually understand something. We should be wary of this cos its all relative, likely most of the callers Bart speaks to are making very obvious mistakes because of the level hea at. Its juat that thia guy was making mistakes that ppl at most levels can see are mistakes. In short we shouldn't hang him for his mistakes in the hand but rather thank him for sharing the hand

      Man I'm not sure that's the case here. Obviously played horribly but you are assuming a K8 calls the flop raise and turn shove, maybe flop but highly unlikely turn.

      @@Nikkithedog-t6b yes a king is calling a flop raise in a limped pot

    • @1vailchris
      @1vailchris ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Nikkithedog-t6b Can't be results oriented. Is K8 calling a flop raise? Maybe not, but hero should still raise the flop with bottom two. Villain could have any Kx hand and want to peel one off. If he folds, he folds, but hero's hand is as strong as it's likely to get on the flop, so he should try to get max value. Better a fold than a suck-out with a river 8.
