Thanks for the video. Started looking at bikes again after 10 years away from them. 1st and only bike which i owned for ages was a GPX750, loved the bike but when a mate turned up with one of these and i had a go it was like night and day, the GPX felt like an absolute bus in comparison, the CBR is just such a nice light bike, you've convinced me and its now top of the list. Liked and subscribed.

    Exactly my model.
Except previous owner dropped it three times if I count correctly, so the side stickers have holes in them and the 600 f sticker on both sides of the tail are gone. I found one dude to sell this set of stickers - 2x big CBR ( missing here, strangely ), 2 x Honda wings on tank, 2 x 600F for tail and 2 x 'written Honda' for near the floor - for 140€. So nope. :)

@@frankiedoodle8984 most 600's Sportbikes are fine, like you I deliberated for a while, went for a 2004 GSXR 600, it's absolutely fine, just keep it out of the power band (under 6000 revs) and it's quite docile, treat it with respect like any bike, I learned on a Suzuki 650 Gladius, I just see the GSXR as an upgrade from that, steering takes a bit of getting used to as it's got less lock and a damper (totally different to the Gladius) pegs are higher too, apart from that it's easy to ride.

@@vedantmehra6970buy it! They are reliable, and tons of cheap parts. 350lb range dry weight, 110 hp, and this was one of the last super sports that was carbed, not packed full of sensors, and they are reliable. You wont ever find a bike like these for the money. Just stay away from the heavily modded ones. They will teach you mechanical skills. Only issues, were electrical, cam chain noise, which a new OEM at 50k solves.I love mine so much I bought spare plastic, a low km engine, basically every part I could find. These bikes were relevant way past new. They have litre bike brakes, and if you keep a good tps, synced carbs, a good clutch, you have a 110hp 158mph machine that will never disappoint. Dont be afraid of high mileage. Take a look at newer bikes specs and you'll notice even the best two decades later only had 15 hp more.
This is not a beginner bike at all. Very fast, fully adjustable shocks front and back, and tough. My friends 80k poorly maintained, tps unhooked, dozens of Jimmy rigs was still a riot. I drove an r6, the 2012 rr, and I hated both.
Just be smart and invest in basic tools, and if high mileage replace timing chain as they are interference engines. So a broken $35 part will cost you your engine. I've told you everything. Oh and they are a 10 second 130mph bike. Great bike for someone who's put a few years and 10k miles in. Also head turners. Mine is mistakes all the time for a brand new bike.
