We have had the land for many years, but the going rate around here is 500k-600k Baht per RAI. My lot is just over 2, 1.5 is walled in so far. House and pool were approx 3.2million Baht, does not include appliance, furniture, or the water filtration system, drilling the well, installing electric to property and lots of gravel for the road. I will do a final accounting later. Thanks for watching.
Consider putting/planting big trees to reduce direct sunlight to your house. Also, consider putting rain water harvesting system because you got space and roof area for it
Beautiful Tim great job the house and the pool look amazing 👍 I wish you & your family lot's of happy times ahead, thank you for sharing your journey 👏👏👏
Looks awesome. I started binge watching your build yesterday and one question keeps coming back to me? With the size of your property did you ever consider putting the pool further back? What looks like about 2 meters between house and pool seems a little tight. Other than that it looks like one awesome home. You adventure has given us lots of ideas and insight for when it comes time to build our home in rural Thailand.
Yes I thought about it after the hole was dug, but I like stepping out the back door in the morning and jumping right in the pool. Thanks for watching.
Nice looking place. You did a great job on it. Not having watched all the episodes as I'm busy with my own build why did you have that enclosure built prior to the fibreglass pool being installed ? I assume there was a reason to go through all that lol
@@twlivinginudonthanithailand Nice pump house - nicer than mine. I was meaning the hole in the ground - at first I thought it was an old pool having been decommissioned. Hot today in Issan would love a pool like yours. haha
They dug the hole for the pool when they did they foundation, it kept filling in with water so the builder bricked it in and did a concrete floor. Not a normal install but it works and didn’t cost me any extra.
It is a wonderful house with a large area. Is your home located in downtown Udon Thani? I am a Korean who visited Udon Thani for the first time in January this year. Attracted by the fresh air and uncrowded environment, they are planning to build a house a short distance from the airport. It's a good video.
I like your house. I'm considering it maybe when i hit retirement age. You can stain the concrete also. A persons personal choice i guess.

Looking good.. Hope you dont mind me asking a rough estimate on how much the house and pool ran up to?? I am looking around the Udon area to build a new house, but I find it pretty hard to come around prices in that area up there :)
The house, pool and pump house cost 3.2m Baht. Does not include appliances, furniture and the wall around the property. I will do a final accounting soon. Thanks for watching.
I’m looking to build a home in Thailand and would like to ask some questions if you or anyone is willing to connect and answer some questions I’d appreciate it!
The house and pool cost approximately 3.2 million Baht. I have not added all we spent so far. This does not include furniture or appliances. Just the house was 2.3 million Baht. Thanks for watching.
Hi. Have looked through your episodes and it looks very good. We are building a house in Chiang Mai, so far we have only built the foundation and started with the steel beams on the roof. Below you can see the house: th-cam.com/video/q44S9MHBkU4/w-d-xo.html I have a few questions that I hope you have the time and opportunity to answer. You mention that you installed a water purification system so that you can get drinking water in all the taps in the house. Do you have information on how much it costs and possibly contact information for your family member who will install it? Then I saw the camera system, do you have there homepage adress? You installed a hot water pump, I was thinking we'd do that at ours too but we ended up deciding having one in each bathroom, we've already laid the groundwork so I suspect it's hard to change to a hot water pump now? The kitchen, saw you had a drawing from Kitchen Studio, is it a program, company you used or something else? We haven't really decided what to do with the indoor and outdoor kitchen, so I'm grateful for the information. Hope you have time and opportunity to provide some information. Best regards Mathias
Water system was approximately Baht 90k, my wife has the phone number to the nephew and she is in US until Jan 26. My email is in the about tab send me one and I’ll get you his number. FYI he lives in Loei. Camera system is from Hi-View hiview.co.th wire where you want them with CAT 5/6 cable and buy POE cameras. Hot water heater serves entire house. If they have not installed the plumbing it’s not to late. We found the folks at Boonthavorn to be very helpful. They drew up the plans for our kitchen, it was a free service. SCG stores have a similar program. It will give you exact measurements and quantities of what is needed. No stinky food to be cooked inside, hence the outside kitchen. Hope this is helpful to you. Feel free to email me any other questions. Thanks for watching, Tim & Wan Bentley
Why is it different than any other country champ? You can be married back in the west and still lose half of everything.. Some people actually want something different out of life, each to their own. Enjoy your life as a sheep..
How much was the land plot and total build of the house?

@@twlivinginudonthanithailand What is the name of the pool company?… What was the cost of the pool alone?
@@kevinrummelhart I had the builder handle the pool he subbed it to company in Bangkok. I paid 500000 for just the pool and filter system.

Good luck with those pool lights. 5 pool lights cost me about 20k 6 years ago last about 1 years before they started breaking down.😢

Where is the gas bottle? which will allow the gas stove to work.
Also is your kitchen a Thai kitchen or a European kitchen?
Gas bottle is in the cabinet under the cook top. Outside is Thai kitchen inside is western style kitchen. We even have a dishwasher.
Beautiful home but man watching the pool fiasco was stressing me out 😂
You and me both. Thanks for watching.
beautiful, how much did it cost
you?
You could regret putting all that concrete down it will make it very very hot to sit outside
Nice coming generally with a price ????
Just the house was 2.4million baht, pool was extra.
how much more expensive would a paver driveway cost? not a fan of all the concrete.

A dryer machine in Thailand?
Are you crazy?
Did they put any expansion joints in that concrete floor?
Some of the concrete they poured has it, some doesn’t. Thanks for watching.
