This is the first home design I've seen of HuaHin homes with sensible simple amenities like retractable screens, a real accessible laundry room and guestroom/bathroom layout!! These are the details that make the difference! You guys will be my first stop on the list for when we make the move
Excellent video. Well produced. It was easy to follow, and the video went by quickly. I recommend - next time - having a wrap at the end or beginning. Point out all the pluses to property, underground power grid, Solar Panels, and custom houses. Please point out the minuses, such as it will take you 20 minutes to get to the town center, no auto sprinkler system, etc. Overall, Josh, great job....we need more of these videos.
Thanks Luther! All feedback taken on board. If you were interested in actually finding out the finer details like that (as it was my first video of this kind), I’ve linked Scott’s details in the description of the video so it could be worth getting in touch with Scott. Thanks again 👍🏻
Hey Buddy, Sorry it took me await to watch this vid as I'm been a bit busy but I will commend you on this one. It is the really professional with good questions asked to a really knowledgeable guest. Simple and clean. 👊
Nice seeing a Villa in Hua Hin that actually has a bathtub in the master bath. Many of the vloggers on youtube are showing houses in Hua Hin without any bathtub and acting like it is a "luxury" villa.
If you saw the property I think you’d be swayed to change your mind on the value vs the cost but it’s all about preference and requirements. The attention to detail on everything was 10/10
Nice House-but I wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft pole-as a builder in 5 states in the US- the home looks fine-they did a good job-the main problem is the average wage in Thailand is at best 33,000 in the big cities -with that said I would guess the yearly wage in this area is in the 20,000 mark-so who other that expats are going to buy this-it sure won't be someone from Thailand -and if you have to sell for emergency-and the builder has other homes for sale-they buy the new one 1 st- it could be years before you can sell and it will be at a far lower price, because builders can adjust their prices to make sure they sell 1 st-I also seen homes like this that rent for 1000-1500 a month-which is far cheaper than buying it-and you can move any time you need to-I would strongly suggest never buying in that area-Rent only-unless its oceanfront and if its under 100k =because you can rent it for about 600-1000 to break even -which isn't great breaking even
Always enjoy a good laugh when a monkey gets in front of a keyboard. You really have just listed the most ignorant piece I have seen in my 35 years investing in real estate in the region. Thailand wages have nothing to do with these homes. They are bought by non Thais. And your rental comments are hilarious. Now get back in the tree and eat another banana
Nice vid. My concern would be when its comes time to sell. If the next occupier has to get a new lease, the developer could set any terms which could put of a potential buyer potentially leaving you a problem selling the house if terms unfavourable?
@@mattinterweb good Q and thanks for the comment. I wouldn’t be qualified to answer this but I think speaking to the developers and going through a trusted business that’s been around for a long time is the way to do it. Ie if they’ve been doing business for 15, 20, 30 years then I’d have more confidence they’re going to be suited to put things in place to make life easier in 15, 20, 30 years. Hope that makes sense and if you were considering buying, reach out to Scott or a professional and try to get these questions answered 👍
My initial tboughts as I have a thai relationship is buy the land 100% in her name as a gift she has forever. We are both older and more of a minimalist house and quieter is fine. I see land and home for under 3,000,000 baht. We will go look at locations to learn more. Any thoughts appreciated, thank you 🙏.
Hey another great vid josh.... we are staying in huahin at one of your recommended properties in December 24 , who do you use for transport from bankok to huahin , cheers
Thanks Pete! It depends on convenience vs comfort/ value. There’s a great coach that goes from BKK airport to the center of HH for around 300 baht per person, it’s spacious and comfy enough but it’s not a taxi. After a long haul I’d probably book a taxi tbh, these are the last guys I used to go from DONSAK pier (Koh samui) to HH, they provided a very good service and will go from BKK to HH too 👍🏻 This is the WhatsApp contact - +66083-7758909
Before I bought my condo in Bangkok I looked at a villa like that in Hua Hin, 2 of my pals bought off plan and put it in their wife's name. Being single I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of putting it in a company so I didn't go through with it. It was an awesome estate though.
@@josh.onthemove Funny you ask, I'm looking at renting out my condo in Bangkok and renting a villa in Hua hin since I have a few friends I worked with living there now
Thanks a lot for taking the time to come for a visit. Was a cool experience 🙏👍
Good to link up 👊🏻 beautiful property, hopefully the video can do it some justice and show what’s available!

The quality functionality of the property was genuinely incredible, I could only show a fraction of it in this video!

@@Sukhumvit246 Nice mate, who knows, you could still take the leap to HH long term? BKK is a little too busy for me, nice to visit for short periods.
@@Sukhumvit246hey how much was ur condo in bkk? Im looking atm...so many overly inflated prices 😢
What a stunning property 😍
Incredible value for money.
Great video x
Thanks! Defo wouldn’t mind living there 😏
Incredible value, really?
@@ammerudgrenda considering where I live you would get a 1 bedroom battered house for that price.. yes incredible value
Same price as in FL US
No foreigner can own land in Thailand
Risky
You can’t buy a house as a foreigner in Thailand
Thailand is the most boring theme to visit.
