Oh thank you so much for saying that - sometimes it can be hard when I get mean comments afterward, but I can take it and do think it is so important to use my voice for good. Thank you for being here, wishing you warm thoughts!
Great to see you back with your little wonder. Impressed that you found the time & energy to put together a podcast. Both people & plants looking healthy. ❣
Wow, how beautiful!!! The two of you look stunning! So happy to see you back and so active! Loved your knits but also to see all your plants. Here in Spain I'm also growing some veggies now, and I feel it's so exciting! Take care and stay safe!! ❤️
Hi Natalia - amazing. Also that you are from Spain! I had no idea! One of my best friends is on a bike trip across Spain right now and his pictures are GORGEOUS. Also, the food looks INCREDIBLE! Very excited to say that everything survived the late May snow storm! Horray! Can’t wait to see what you are able to harvest, keep me posted!
Aw thank you so much!! Thank you for providing me with things to watch while I breastfeed! I have to admit I really want to finish my Yell and have just been putting off doing the mattress stitch Ming at the shoulders… maybe I’ll motivate to do it today!
Well done Maggie! How wonderful, congratulations. You look so well, it's good to see. That is going to be one well kitted out baby. That Magpie yarn glows, it is gorgeous.
Hi Jo-Anne, thank you!! I have realized that I love baby knits because thy are usually single skein projects but with the fun construction of a sweater! I can’t wait to knit with the magpie - it is as sumptuous in person as it appears in video!
Oh thank you so much Julie - it means a lot to hear that people like me talking about more than just crafting, especially when I get mean comments from others. Thank you for being here despite me disappearing for months at a time!
Oh thank you so much Zena - she is the absolute best!! So glad to see you back again, thank you so much for sticking with me when I’m constantly disappearing
I know! I almost made a joke that she is my most amazing finished object but then was like, noooo she is a WIP! Haha thanks for being here even with me disappearing for months at a time!
Congratulations on your new baby. She looked very snuggly in the wrap (I used something similar with my two kids 18 years ago). The knitted onesies are super cute and I added them to my knitting list as my sister recently had a baby, too.
Hi Sarah! Amazing!! We got the wrap in our registry and honestly it makes me just want to buy some Jersey fabric to make my own… haha! I highly recommend the Anker’s Suit - it is AMAZING!
Congratulations to you and your husband on the birth of your beautiful daughter Edie!! It was so wonderful to see and hear about the baby knits. I'm always on the lookout for gift ideas.
Congratulations! Edie is beautiful and you also look lovely as well despite the new busy - less sleep motherhood stage. Enjoy these special moments ❤️❤️
I'm a first time viewer and wanted to say thank you for being so vocal about what is generally perceived as a "controversial topic". (So stupid that a women's right to her own body could ever be seen as controversial or up for political debate but I digress) You found yourself a new subscriber. And congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! :)
Awww thank you so much for being here and for your solidarity! Also - very sorry for the extremely delayed response! Motherhood has been a thing to adjust to!
Goodness! Soo glad to see you. WAY TO GO MAMA!!! You did such an amazing thing! She is perfect ☺ I have a 10 month old and just started watching podcast to find you, and that you are pregnant! I am excited to see your knitting and mom journey!
Hi Maria, thank you so much! She is such a wonderful babe! Congratulations to you as well, I’m enjoying these newborn weeks but am excited for the sleep that will come later! I hope you and your baby are doing well!
Congratulations Edie is so adorable, loved seeing all of your baby knits. I have a new nephew on the way in October so it was lovely to get some nice gift ideas
Ohh congrats - I don’t know if this is your first niece/nephew but I LOVE being an aunt! All the benefits of having a kid around without having to do any of the hard stuff! Baby’s crying - go back to your mom… hahah thanks for sticking with me despite me disappearing for months at a time!
Congratulations! So happy to hear that things are going well and that you're able to breastfeed. So sweet that you came on amidst the chaos of the newborn phase. Much love and many blessings!!
Hi Jonna! Thank you so much for being here! I have been binging your podcasts while I breastfeed and it has been amazing! Thank you for sticking with me despite me disappearing for months at a time! 🥰🥰
Many, many congratulations. You look glowing. Edie May is beautiful. My daughter just had a little girl. It’s so wonderful. She suffered with her pregnancy too but as you say it is all worth it. 😍😍
Oh thank you so much Vicki and thank you for being here! Congratulations to you as well, I hope you are enjoying the time with your new grandchild! Sending happy thoughts to you and your family!
Congratulations! It is such a wonderful time to have a new born. I am glad you are enjoying it so much. Thank you for speaking your truth on your channel! Please do support Petit Knit by buying her patterns. She gave a days worth of sales to Ukraine back at the beginning of the war. It was somewhere around $100,000. Love your knits!
Oh my gosh that is an incredible donation - thank you for being that to my attention. I do love her patterns and own many - I’ll make sure not to talk about how you could buy one and make several different garments from it. So sorry about that
Congrats on Edie!!! So sweet….I loved pregnancy and breast fed both kids for a year each. I will say that breastfeeding was a much bigger commitment than anyone shared, it was not easy but so worth it. My first child is getting married in July so I have so many hopes for babies in my near future. Love all your knits and really appreciate your voice speaking out, the world right now can be scary….. we have to speak up and live in action and hope.
I hope to go for a year as well - we will see how it goes when I return to work in August! I’ll hope for some grandbabies for you - my mom has LOVED having a grandchild and has been spending a lot of time with us - thank god! Thank you for saying that about me using my voice - I have gotten a little bit of harsh comments but do think it is so important and won’t shy away from talking about what is going on in our world. I agree that it is incredibly important. Thank you for stopping by to say hello!
Congratulations on the beautiful bundle of joy who has joined your family. I still wake up every morning at 3.35 am most mornings after 33 years, and he was the 6th. Its interesting to me to hear your point of view on politics and life in general, as the next generation of people who will decide on how we treat each other. I also have opinions on most things/situations and world events as I would expect most of us do. The main thing is respect, I've found, respect for each other, respect for the environment and respect for the moral and ethical philosophies of the Ancient ancestors who some choose to follow. I particularly like listening to your podcast for your intellectual overview. As I live in Australia, I'm wondering why the US president is not doing anything about the changes to Womens personal rights, after all Biden has been the top honcho for a year? and he has the final say on changes that effect half the population there. Why is so little said about this in the media? If it were to previous president allowing this situation to happen?? Its an enigma to me. Also the items you knit are similar to the projects I love, especial the Yell colourwork. Thanks. And hugs (if allowed) for baby Edie. Best wishes with the first 6 months, its breeze after that ☕.
Hi Nicole, no need to apologize your emEnglish is perfect and even if it wasn’t your are still very welcome here! Yes… today Roe was officially overturned and I beside myself. Thank you for your support and kind words!
Hi Catherine, it is called From The Earth - it is one of the soundtracks included with the iMovie app! I film everything on my phone and then edit on my phone in that app so it is all in there!
Yeah…. The states is a pretty backwards place in a lot of ways. Honestly 2 or 3 months is GREAT! Most people here get no paid leave or like maybe a week. Nuts.
@@SONDERknit Oh no, this makes me so sad.... Still so much to fight for in terms of women rights... Hope you enjoy your time with the baby as much as you can!
Your daughter is beautiful and I am so glad also healthy. As a retired ICU nurse, I know many abortions . are performed because of the fetus being non viable or will suffer greatly if the fetus comes to term. The decision is not made lightly. Many who are opposed to abortions I find are wiilfully uninformed.
Love your sweater and appreciate your political statement. I was so shocked to hear that the US was going back in time to make abortion illegal. It sounded like it was beyond Biden’s control though?
Yes - unfortunately our separation of power gives the Supreme Court A LOT of power that goes unchecked. Thank you for being here and for your solidarity!
Of course I’m not going to just stick to knitting - like I have said from the beginning this is a journal of my life (which knitting is a big part of, but not the whole picture). I wish you would stay around and listen to other people’s voices rather than just those that think exactly as you do, but alas the political climate in the states has become very toxic. I wish you well Gayle!
Love all the knitting but really appreciate you sharing your values and beliefs. Hope we see lots of you and Edie! Congratulations!
Oh thank you so much for saying that - sometimes it can be hard when I get mean comments afterward, but I can take it and do think it is so important to use my voice for good. Thank you for being here, wishing you warm thoughts!

Welcome Edie May and congratulations to you and your husband, you look so contented, and all your makes are fabulous, enjoy your little girl xx
