Here are seven channels I love to watch while I knit (or work...or just chill). Enjoy! ❤ FYI There’s a million “that’s what she said” opportunities here. You’re welcome. 😎

I love the Knit Picks interchangeable needles. It looks as if you are missing the tightening pins that come with them. After screwing the needle to the cord, one needs to put the tightening pin in a small hole at the base of the needle and then tighten. I've never had a problem. I think possibly a paper clip end could do the trick if you don't have the tighteners.

As a new knitter, I watch a lot of knitting content and learn so much from it! Other than that, I watch Easy German, a language channel. I moved to Germany 4,5 years ago and am still improving my German by it. The 'Easy Languages' channels also have Easy Spanish, Easy Italian etc. The great thing about it is that they teach you the language from the streets. Highly recommended!

For the knit picks interchangeable needles, you just need to use the key to tighten. Then they're good to go!

Personally I found that after a while the knit picks/knit pro needles don't stay done up no matter how tight you initially do them up. I think the thread must wear with use.

    • @WOOLNEEDLESHANDS
      @WOOLNEEDLESHANDS  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Yes, buuuut the problem is that even with doing that, they still come loose. For me at least.

I watch TH-cam while knitting. I enjoy Becky (Acre Homestead), How to renovate a chateau, Garden Answer, Homeworthy (especially the new segment about Garrow Kedinger and his new Paris Apartment), xomacenna, Trent and Ali (formerly van lifers but now housebound because they have children), among others.

Besides knitting vids, I have long watched Abandoned and Forgotten Places-excellent abandoned mine exploration!-wood turning videos, and (less restful) Meidas Touch Network, LegalAF, MrBallen, Bedtime Stories, and Wartime Stories. Fun video Tayler! There are so many interesting topics to explore! I watch music, food, tiny home tours, Architectural Digest, to name a few. I'm also a cross stitcher and crocheter, so all things fiber arts interest me.
Just before your first foodie recommendation, you held up a pair of wooden needles with a swivel tip preparing to get rid of them. Those are, interestingly enough, ChiaoGoo Spin bamboo needles, and your Red Lace cables will fit them. I use them together when I need a little more grip for my silky yarn. :)

I'm too lazy to scroll through 145 comments LOL, but those bamboo ones with the rotating join are Chiagoo Spins. I'm also not in love with the cord, but if it's the interchangeable tips, they fit on the red cords for the Chiagoo Twist stainless steel needles.

For my favorite channels...IF you love gaming channels check out Gab Smolders. She does a lot of horror ones but also has a wide range of other games. I also love the longer format where the tone is more laid back and the narrator is easy on the ears. Two of my favorites are Clever Cowgirl and Dainty Diaries. And of course, Taskmaster.

My dad used to play red dead redemption and my favorite thing about that game was that if John Marston got within 2 feet of water he would drown. One time my dad was playing and I think the game glitched or something and he stepped off a porch and died. We've been making fun of him ever since for stepping off the porch and drowning in a puddle.

Hi Ren, The Tales of Jenny and Screech, and Money Game 3 are music videos that feel like scenes out of a musical. I really enjoyed this video! I’m always on the hunt for things to watch while knitting that don’t require me to keep my eyes on the screen, lol! Great tip for needle storage! Thank you! I do have a question about using the needle gauge. I have noticed when using a needle gauge that a needle could fit in a couple of different sized holes. So, what is the rule on that as far as determining which size is the correct one? Do you use the one it completely slips in & out of or the one it goes in to but stops at a certain point? I hope this is making sense. 🤪

Nice video! You may also enjoy a cooking channel called AntiChef (i think). I ❤ his channel. It started during the pandemic as a guy trying to teach himself how to cook and has grown over the years. In one long series, he worked his way through Julia Child's cookbook. Very fun, humorous, and inspiiring.

The knit picks needles should have come with a small pin that tightens them down fully. I had this problem too til I realized this

I made myself a version of the "Circularity" Needle Organizer. I love it. I had to add a few more sizes and rows but it's become a piece of art that holds my circulars. Edited to add because for some reason i can't reply. It's free pattern i found on Ravelry.

@@cbtringali6799 I found it under circularity needle organizer on Ravelry. I modified mine by holding stiffer cotton yarns together and framing it with dowels.

I already watched Tiny Desk and Art Deco, which were the ones that interested me in the list. Have you ever watched Stromae and Natalia Lafourcade concerts there?

So Natalia Lafourcade is one of my favorites and I watched her TDC I want to say like three months ago. It was beautiful. As for Stromae, I LOVE him. I started listening to him a few years ago but have yet to watch his TDC. I know what I’m watching later. Thank you for the suggestion! ❤️❤️

If you like Red Dead Redemption, one of my friends's husbands wrote a book based on it. Red Dead's History: A Video Game, An Obsession, and America's Violent Past by Tore C. Olsson. I highly recommend it.
