Wonderful! A proper tutorial without the distraction of choppy editing or a soundtrack... I feel like it is okay again to be an adult with an attention span. Philippa is so elegant and lovely and what a gorgeous wreath she made indeed!
"An adult with an attention span." Very well said. Not every single thing on the internet needs to be gimmicky to get viewers' attention. Plain and simple can be so refreshing.
My sweetie husband who passed 4years ago used to go with me foraging now I don’t go by myself But watching you has been beautiful Thank you for the memories God bless you and yours.
Hands down the most beautiful natural wreath I've ever seen😍 Thank you for taking the time to show us, and more importantly "explain" the mechanics/reason/thought process behind making this stunning wreath!
This is absolutely wonderful, thank you so much. Usually tutorials never show the WHOLE process, especially the last few pieces and how to make it all look seamless. These last two pieces always let my creation down ... not anymore.
This tutorial for anyone who is attempting wreath making either for the very first time or returning after many years is ideal. Most informative and delivered in a very relaxing way. Philippa has a wonderful voice I played it twice. I look to more content from her in professional non pretentious way that simply shows being classy is far more effective than in your face over the top antics of many video bloggers of today, Thank you House & Gardens and a big thank you to Philippa. Merry Christmas.
This is the loveliest and most gentle lady and her tuition is amazing. I have thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful workshop and I look forward to trying one. Thank you so much.
Watching this from my small Parisian appartment during our second quarantine. The sight of all this greenery and the soft poised voice is so soothing 💚 Thank you
The wreath is beautiful and I enjoyed her detailed tutorial very much, but what was most enjoyable and rather relaxing was watching her sweet demeanor, lovely voice.
What a beautiful soul she is! Lovely tone of voice which I found most therapeutic! Green is a healing color and the variation in her finished product is stunning! Thank you ♥️🎄♥️🎄♥️🎄
Thank you for sharing, I’ve been decorating my house with fresh greenery from my woods for many years. I don’t spend money on wreaths or garlands anymore. There’s nothing like walking in the forest and getting fresh branches of different types of pine trees. I also add branches of lavender, holly berry, lambs ear, Rosmary. My house smell amazing and ready to celebrate Christmas by December 1. Your wreath turned out beautiful! 🌲 Merry Christmas 🎄
This absolutely the best wreath making video I have seen. I love that she not only tells you what to do but what not to do, but most importantly THE WHY! I'm a question asker too, so this appeals to me. She undoubtedly loves her work. ❤ Thank you!!👏 Well done. Merry or Happy Christmas from US!
House & Garden...you are really delivering good content. Some magazines when in the TH-cam world Skip on quality but you have great content with great video audio, a good team behind!
This was absolutely wonderful. Your voice is so comforting, which makes it easy to follow. I was so inspired to put my wreath together. But I used faux greenery. Thank you ☺️
These days so many take walks in the neighborhood everyday. I myself have enjoyed the beautiful decorations on the homes I pass on my walk. So many will enjoy your holiday designs that you did not think of. Happy Holidays!
Absolutely beautiful. And your voice is so soothing and kind. And you are so giving and generous with your knowledge. Honestly a wonderful presentation of your lovely art. Please do many more videos. So looking forward to seeing you creating again and again. 🏅
I live in a small mountain town with very little to offer in the way of supplies or greenery such as this, but I did go foraging in the forest and get some cedar, pine, spruce and fir. I made the bases out of twisted dogwood which is a lovely red shade. How I’d love to have such a wonderful work space and abundance such as this. It’s so beautiful to see. Thank you for sharing your tips.
@@aiai-j7i you made me realize that whatever I think is better than what I have is often just what someone would wish for. Thank you, getting back on my gratitude game. Happy Christmas to you.
I enjoyed every second of watching you making this beautiful wreath! You’re such a wonderful teacher and have so much talent. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! ♥️
Thank you for your wonderfully thoughtful and insightful tutorial, I was able to create a stunning wreath using your generously informative and gently reassuring instruction.
Absolutely lovely! 💕 Sometimes the simplicity of mixed greens is more luxurious & elegant than all the extra baubles & trappings added to wreaths. This is definitely a project I would enjoy doing with my friends. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge & giftw with us. Happy Christmas to you & your family 🌲😊
That was a beautiful wreath that you made with the foliage. I enjoyed watching your tutorial, you have a very soothing way of instructing on wreath making. This week I went foraging And made a few wreaths. Your tutorial inspired me to improve on my foliage wreath making. Thank you
This Turned out so beautiful! I believe myself to be crafty I even have diy and craft videos on my channel but I’ve never made a wreath!! I’ve always wanted to. I just find them intimidating to make for some reason. I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn techniques. You make this look so easy. Thanks for the inspiration to try again. I’m gonna be at dollar tree first thing in the morning to get supplies. I love learning from talented creators like you!! I look forward to watching your future videos!
Lovely tutorial - I now have the important tips on how to improve my annual wreath construction - I used to wire each swatch of greenery and then secure it to the frame - your technique creates better continuity and flow. The downside of wreath construction is that large swathes of nature areas will be denuded. I indulged in judicious pruning: and often used bay tree sprigs and lavender for a fragrant wreath which even as it dried out it still held its form. Two comments about presentation: it is worth taking the time to arrange your hair and gently slide on an alice band (faux tortoiseshell compliments a brunette) to secure those wanton strands of hair and reduce the need to rake ones fingers through them which only increases the dishevelled (quite distracting) unkempt look (no malice intended). Coax your hair & makeup team to experiment to give your beautiful hair more fullness, body and movement to create a balanced look and thus free your hands for the important task. PS. my on-camera continuity eye can be a blessing or a hindrance. My intention is to offer constructive comment to always enhance the presenter's overall look.
Thank you💕😊You inspired me. I usually decorate a plain wreath I buy at my local farm stand. I have also made one from greens on my land once for an advent wreath I don’t have a hazel wood where I am I usually use a metal ring from last years wreathes. I have American bittersweet on my property so I usually just use that as a base making sure there are no berries in it because it’s a very intrusive variety but it’s abundant where I am.
Thank you so much. I just made my wreath and it wasn't compact or very even! It's fine, it's homemade but your tips are so helpful for a better effort next year!
Brilliant instruction, quite! I am a good bit more confident now, to try this on my own. Also, to explain more than one use is ever so thoughtful Thank you :)

Yes! Exactly. I don't like a lot of waffle at the beginning but this takes through all the elements
I have a thing about wreaths, I have to confess i am absolutely blown away by this particular one, it has to be the most stunning one i have seen.

My thoughts exactly! Exceptional explanation ...

Thank you I can almost smell the greenery.
The wreath is lovely. Your voice has a calm, gentle tone, making this video enjoyable as well as informative.
I totally agree with your statement. Her voice is so pleasant and calm.
This is absolutely wonderful, thank you so much. Usually tutorials never show the WHOLE process, especially the last few pieces and how to make it all look seamless. These last two pieces always let my creation down ... not anymore.
