I’ve brought then lower one, why? Even the medium is too in your face noticeable as a rv guranteed resident would call the cop seen that huge thing parked in the neighborhood they never seen before and obviously with all that window someone living in that house on wheel. LOL
Also they lower roof make the van shift super early Iam getting 18 buck a week mpg that has to be close to 20 mpg vs my ford 150 econoline 351 45.00 a week Wonderfull engine
In 6’3”, but I appreciate the stealth factor of the smallest vans, perhaps not getting called on. Sure Height is fun, but so much of van life is sitting or being outside. And gas mileage has to be better
@@bdmenne yea, I was parked next to the old e-150 extended van and were were the same exact length, so we’re already got more room, o yea .I doing this van diffrent no special louver even as I took them off, on yiur back tire wheel well cut out 1/2 on the front side it throw water up the back side, then make tiny wire holes me keep my cat in. But wire it looking at it from the side the wire are on the tire side. So you switch hole top or bottom. This allow you to make a wire hinge and close it and tie it shut but it lock in and can’t fall off it level. Both side wind pass through. The buy a attic solar fan with 10-30 watt small panel iv also used Home Depot black roof air exit enclosure. I’ve got 2 put a fan up their and it’s just as good are louver on both side. But that too un-stealth and it nosy too. Hot air rises replace with cold both air

The worst van I have ever owned and I currently own 22 of these pieces of shit! Absolute junk! Ford should be ashamed of themselves for selling crap like the Transit!
@@jackcorsica8405 the transmission goes bad every 50k miles $2000 the ac breaks at 60k miles $3000 all the rad hoses pop off and if not caught engine failure! Now we are having catastrophic engine failures at 100k miles $7000 plus labour! Do not purchase in fact run like Hell!
This was extremely beneficial. Thanks for acknowledging the stand up sizing and actually getting inside to give a real visual. I appreciate that.
I love this old transists specially the older ones
Really Appreciate the side by side comparison
Great video!!!
Awesome vdo
thank you for this
Very good video
Whats the difference in mpg on the different roof sizes?
All that but you didn't add the Ford Connect 😅
When you said 11 feet 9 inches were you referring to the length of just the cargo area or the whole van including the cab?
Which one is the best for hvac?
How much roughly does a used high one run? Deposit and monthly payment roughly?? Columbia SC
Can a motorcycle fit in the back of a low-roof transit or is a medium-roof a better choice.
I put my KLR650 in one I just tilted it going in the back , and it's kind of a tall bike.
Yeah the one I want is both dumb expensive and ridiculously hard to find.
So the 130 with the door closed is actually bigger than a full-size pickup truck bed with a cap on it?
Transit 150 smaller than f150 supercab
