- The Flagship of the Husqvarna Riding mower/ Garden Tractor line up, this Garden tractor has proved itself to be a valuable member of the farm.
This one has a LOT of upgrades though, and I'll be covering all of them in future videos.
Even after the cost of those upgrades this work horse cost about 1/3 of a Sub Compact Utility Tractor like the Kubota BX.
A home warming present from family was a Husqvarna XD254. Now I've only had it for about a season and only used it for lawn care. Would it be worth getting the box blade for it? Or other attachments?
Yes! These are pretty good little Garden Tractors. I use mine to back blade the driveway, till a garden, and mow the lawn. It also plows snow in the winter. I say go for it!
Do you plow a lot? Kinda curious about the sleeve hitch
Yes, I plow a 1400 foot driveway in the winter. The Sleeve hitch is worth it's weight in gold!!
I purchased a used 2014 version of this GT in 2020 had 220 hours....has a briggs engine and the smart buttons...now 345 hours..I use to to snow blow. I'm in new hampshire works great....only issue I have is the frame snapped @ the seam....small bad weld. but other than that...great machine
Were you able to fix the frame issue? I do hear these have issues with that. So far, this one is OK.
