No mention from commentators on Australian Ky Robinson's kick or his result really. Great run from an 19 year old. He came from well back when the commentator said Nur was running away from everybody.
Perhaps if he would just sit the first few laps and then make an early move to try and create a break he would benefit. Rather than bolting at the gun and fading in the end.
Massive props to Robinson. 13:21 then 13:20 shows solid talent. I hope he doesn't do NCAAs, this guy could make a Worlds team for Australia. Most of the contenders are doing other events (Stewy in the 1500, Ramsden in the 1500, Tiernan in the 10K and road running, Rayner in the 10K and road running), so it'll be much easier than usual.
@@louisnovy7872 I knew I was missing someone. Didn't know that Morgan was injured though. And with Hoare probably doing the 1500 this year, I'd say it's wide open for Ky.
6:01 - everything he says here is wrong. First off his brothers are Juniors not Seniors. They are setting national records (beating the high school records set by Nico) and especially next year will likely be better than Nico ever was in high school, but are not currently faster than he is.

It's a bit premature to say that Nico Young's brothers are better than he is. A successful transition from high school to college and beyond is never a given. They certainly have potential, though!
@@nirobimills4557 his name is Abdihamid Nur. And I disagree, it seemed to me like everyone looked they were going really fast but Nico didn’t. He didnt win and other people may have in actuality been more comfortable but he looked the most comfortable to me.

Abdi or Nico will probably go pro if not both. That’s what happens when you develop so much talent quickly like NAU does. Last year they lost 2 in Grijalva and Ferro to the pros.
WHY WHY WHY would you ruin the entire race by using the shot of the athletes crossing the line as your thumbnail???????? I see the thumbnail and I know who won before I’ve even heard the gun go off. SO FXXXING annoying.
Lol Abdi was gon celebrate hella early then saw Ky with a full head of steam
Abdi looked so smooth, ran perfectly!
Abdi nur 🇸🇴❤
Nur is on another level rn. also his stride is amazing. nico stays killing it and so did stanford!!

Agree... what a champion run
Yes, he closed faster than Nur that last lap
He had his glory in the outdoor season which is more recognizable
Wesley Kiptoo has to find a way not to go out lightning quick and then fade the last few laps.
Great races all around by NAU!
Pure fax stop going out fast kiptoo

THEM STANFORD BOYS ARE BEING SLEPT ON

Why was Charles hicks not racing?
@@matthewkeegan272 he did 3000
But did they see ky’s kick??

great race by Robinson, especially for a redshirt freshman! Stanford is loaded with young talent!
How about massive props to the Nur, the actual winner?
@@cyberpunkreader8220 as if he hasnt got enough props already tho...
Did Kiptoo know that it wasn't a mile race??
Congratulations Ky - gone onto big things in the USA. Come a long way since school days at Churchie
Abdi is still so fun to watch, good dude
It’s time for Somalis to dominate running world again since Abdi bile abdi 🇸🇴🔥

abdi put in work, said he was playing chess whole time 😂🥇
nur ran the tires off everyone at the end but crazy sprint by ky
Commentators don’t even mention how insane that first 800 split is? Running outdoor world record pace, nothing to note here…. Smh
That was such an exciting race for no reason
btw Nico's brothers are juniors and still have another year before college
Like to see the Stanford guys running their race, dead last for the first 3 something minutes and finished 2-5
Great runner cabdi welldone
I've been seeing performances by NAU but never a such great performance by Abdihamid Nur.
Abdi Hamid is peaking at the right time. Wouldn’t be surprised seeing him represent team USA in the World championships in the coming years.
Maansha Alaah ♥️ ♥️ Nuur
What they feeding them NAU boys????
altitude ;)
Nur he is smart
Opened in a 58. And 1:29 at 600 Nice…

kiptoo even wearing gloves inside when its warm

A commanding race🤗
i have never ever seen kiptoo go out like that (which he does every race) and hold on to the lead

Robinson closed around 27s last 200m insane...
everyone following charles hick's youtube knew the stanford boys were gonna pop off
I’ll never understand the gloves indoors

I am broud Abdi nuur Who Is 🇺🇸 America Boren Somalia 🇸🇴 Congratualtion Courage bro
Nur basically skipping those last two laps
Wesley Kiptoo reminds me of the great Kip Keino in his running style.
I’m of age and interest I could name two distance runners Jim Ryun and Kip Keno lol
He just needs to be patient
The Gloved One couldn't do it.
🎉🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴
Vielscht and Kiptoo telling them how to pronounce their names and they still get it wrong 🙄
Why start the race in a 58 second 400? 😳
NAU has these guys and will have sahlman next year 😂 its not fair
