      The female announcer is the absolute worst. Drives me nuts in all of the distance videos. Nobody wants to hear her recite stats and facts and stories about other races. Watch the damn race you're commentating on. I wish they could ger Kara Goucher for these.

      And to follow up with this, it’s also so important because (at least from my experience) the indoor 5k is way harder than the outdoor 5k so I can imagine that altitude plus indoor track running was crazy hard on some of those athletes

    • @Foration3
      @Foration3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He's 24 years old, that's pretty old for being in college, and compare it to the other runners who are both younger, have faster times, and better achievements. He's been in college for 7 years now and this is his highest placement, that's not very impressive to me. There's nothing wrong with it, but I personally think it's kind of cheesy for NCAA athletes to do that. Casey will get the credit he deserves when he shows it.

I didn't see where you said still competing. If you enter college at age 18 you typically will be done by age 22 if you have all the required credits. If your short credits you be a bit older. Then if you go to grad school it is longer or med school. Typically by then you have used up eligibility.
