@paulcarney2608 yes I have noticed that different specifications are available in different counties, everything should be available every where. We are quite lucky in the UK.
Thanks for the comment & compliment. This upgrade was pretty much a spur of the moment idea & not part of the plan at all. Have you done any mods to your GTI?
@smallmick6586 when I knew I wanted another Golf GTI, I really wanted the Edition 30 but when I found this GTI I did considered keeping it totally standard because It is such a lovely car. I am hoping I can do this build justice🙂. I take it your a fan of the standard Golf GTI?
Looks really smart superb upgrade In mine I replaced the hazard light switch in the middle upper dash to a cherry red that matches the rear cherry lights it’s quite easy to fit and a small but nice upgrade Great video
@jonathonbrett-qn1ic it is funny you should mention the hazard light in the dash because this is one of the first things I bought for the car. I was planning to install it when I upgrade the head unit. It is a subtle but very nice upgrade to the one in my car at the moment👍🏿
Hi, i have installed a 3d cluster on my car everything works without oil pressure that comes up when I'm driving but one button for change "slide" doesn't work i need to hold press < or > to go to settings. please do you know how it can be fixed? thanks a lot

I have used the RNS510 and would never go back to it. VW DISCOVER MEDIA MIB2 PQ is also OEM. But a newer model, added to 2016+ cars. It has a better touch screen, better sound, built-in BT. Added Androidauto, CarPlay functions. But of course the choice is yours.
I'm picking up a 2006 mk5 GTI manual shortly and I wanna do this mod aswell. Is there anything else i'd need other than the EOS cluster? Do I need to know someone who can code it to work?

Hey man! Got the exact same speedo, just wondering. Did you guys have to calibrate the cluster gauages for the RPM's and such to show correctly? I'm asking because my speedo is showing incorrect rpm's and what not..

Lovely cluster mate, i got the scirocco facelift cluster, the scirocco auxiliary gauges and mk7 style clima control unit in my mk5 gti

That is nice head unit. I have been offered these before but because I am a bit old school & like the oem look, I decided to go for an RNS510👍🏿

Are they blinding on a night time they seem.so bright or can that be adjusted?
@jaketaylor5470 the cluster seems bright on camera but they are just right. You can adjust them & dim them down if they are too bright for you
Fun fact CLUSTER IS FROM VW EOS they go for like £100

Do you change ABS module?
A module was upgraded but I could not tell you which one. Also something in the keys were changed to makes the it compatible

Hi @Rasmus230100, yes the everything was calibrated & tested on the bench. I would say a week or so before the cluster was installed in the car.
