I bought HyperX Alpha because they were more comfortable to my head than similarly prices Senhaiser, yet sound is on same descent level. No RGB, no software, no gimmicks, no BS, just plain comfortable headphones, even despite being marketed as "gAmInG".
I wouldnt buy or recommend this. The mic quality is utterly terrible, even for a wireless headset. If you want an actually good wired headset -> PC37/38X.

Again with that single hinge on the earcup design like the Steelseries' more expensive Arctis series. Those have a high fail rate due to the plastic breaking on the earcup.
You'd have to be very rough with the arctis headsets to break that hinge though. I've been using the arctis 1 wireless along with 3 of my family members for around a year now without any durability issues. I don't really see that part wearing down dramatically but it probably varies per model.

Because the plastic around the hinge is so thin, and because I’ve had these headphones for nearly two years daily driven, it’s only natural [for so thin a piece of plastic] to break after such long use [with how much strain it undergoes throughout its lifetime due to its design]. I love the Pro’s, but this certainly is a design flaw that should be addressed, and isn’t just due to rough usage.

Compare your pair with the 7, 9, Pro and look at this new Roccat one. There are enough reports and pictures from SteelSeries customers that have the defect on the exact same spot. All the stress is focused on that single hinge and its weak plastic housing: the clamp force, the rotation to adjust to one’s head, putting on and taking off the headset by naturally holding the earcups in your hands.
Yea my arctis pro broke because of the plastic cracking on the right earcup. So annoying that companies won’t fix obvious flaws with their products nor will they replace a headset that broke due to this very prevalent problem.. they call it “normal wear and tear”

Wave audio do not work on Dell Notebooks so that it is completely trash. Only a USB apple dongle or higher end can actually go around the awful audio which makes at least Dell Notebooks worthless compared to at least Asus and Microsoft Surface.

Passive self-monitoring is why I stay wired and keep a logitech dual 3.5mm to USB adapter, even though I don't use a logitech headset, because the adapter is what makes the self-monitoring work. I can't stand not being able to hear my own voice clearly, and the windows "listen to" option's induced delay is even worse. I use an external mic for clean comms and recording, so even if the headset mic is fairly crap it's still a viable option if it has self-monitoring.

Instead of getting this, you all better off with Sennheiser GSP370 if you are looking for a pair of wireless headset. 100 hours battery time and audiophile level of audio, plus the mic is decent too.
I wish more headphones had the monitoring feature. My wife complains that I yell when I'm gaming with friends while wearing my headset. That's why I use my Blue Yeti most of the time, even though it's annoying to do so just to play games. If I can't hear myself speak, I start slurring and sounding like an idiot, so I just yell through my gaming headset lol.
I cannot figure out how to get these to to work, but I'm using a MacBook do you think that's the problem? There's literally no input when I turn them on or off. The only thing that happens is they make a little sound and the lights flash on but nothing on the computer plugged in or not.
They're really similar to my Turtlebeach Stealth 700: same weight, wireless dongle, mic makes the same noise when deactivated by pushing it up (and it has the same three "positions"), they both can let you hear your voice and have a "cog" (idk how it's called in english) that lets you control its volume and finally (at least for what I noticed) they both have the same "Superhuman Hearing" feature
What material are the "hinges"? (or whatever that part that connects the band to the cups are called). Since that part is what usually breaks first for me with headsets I kinda care about that (a quick tap with a fingernail and commenting on what material it feels like would be enough)
I love Roccat keyboards. Not sold on their other stuff. It’s a shame you never reviewed their Vulcan 120 AIMO low-profile keyboard - been using one for 3 years now and it’s been insanely good. Normal height mechanical keyboards are dead to me. Brown switches for lifeeeeee. I’ve tried the Dygma Raise, the Razer Huntsman Elite whatever, some Corsair one. Can’t find anything better than this Vulcan. lol I’d imagine the next step up from here would just be a Ducky or something full custom. But then it wouldn’t be low-profile :(

There are a few exceptions, like Tygr300r and the PC37/38X but thats about it yeah. Gaming headphones are quite the rip off.
I use Philips open backs and a V-Moda Boom Pro, all hooked into some $30 SoundBlaster. Great setup for what I paid.

Instead of getting this, you all better off with Sennheiser GSP370 if you are looking for a pair of wireless headset. 100 hours battery time and audiophile level of audio, plus the mic is decent too.
I wish more headphones had the monitoring feature. My wife complains that I yell when I'm gaming with friends while wearing my headset. That's why I use my Blue Yeti most of the time, even though it's annoying to do so just to play games. If I can't hear myself speak, I start slurring and sounding like an idiot, so I just yell through my gaming headset lol.

Why can windows not do Mic monitoring like Xbox?
I cannot figure out how to get these to to work, but I'm using a MacBook do you think that's the problem? There's literally no input when I turn them on or off. The only thing that happens is they make a little sound and the lights flash on but nothing on the computer plugged in or not.

They're really similar to my Turtlebeach Stealth 700: same weight, wireless dongle, mic makes the same noise when deactivated by pushing it up (and it has the same three "positions"), they both can let you hear your voice and have a "cog" (idk how it's called in english) that lets you control its volume and finally (at least for what I noticed) they both have the same "Superhuman Hearing" feature

What material are the "hinges"? (or whatever that part that connects the band to the cups are called). Since that part is what usually breaks first for me with headsets I kinda care about that (a quick tap with a fingernail and commenting on what material it feels like would be enough)

I love Roccat keyboards. Not sold on their other stuff. It’s a shame you never reviewed their Vulcan 120 AIMO low-profile keyboard - been using one for 3 years now and it’s been insanely good. Normal height mechanical keyboards are dead to me. Brown switches for lifeeeeee. I’ve tried the Dygma Raise, the Razer Huntsman Elite whatever, some Corsair one. Can’t find anything better than this Vulcan. lol I’d imagine the next step up from here would just be a Ducky or something full custom. But then it wouldn’t be low-profile :(

So you didn't mention audio quality, range, or battery life... This video failed at providing any information about the fundamentals of any wireless audio prodcut.
