  • amzn.to/46Ht1Hi (Here's an amazon link) 6 packs for only $6.99-That's only $1.17 each. 6 packs would be a lifetime supply!
Several people have asked where you can find this cream. When I made this video it was $0.88 at Walmart, but now it's more. I've seen it at Dollar Tree for $1.25. Also, I just found it on Amazon for a really great deal and I've shared the link above.
Within a day or two of applying it, you'll see a huge improvement in ringworm. This cured my daughters ringworm and is working well on my kittens. Make sure you purchase athletes foot with clotrimazole cream.

Warnings on the product may say "Harmful is swallowed". When cats groom, they use saliva from their tongue to wet their paw, and when they groom an area that has been treated with Clotrimazole, they can bring some of that back to their tongue when they re-moisten the paw. I believe this is the primary reason vets don't use it. Instead, they use a sulfur-lime dip and oral med, Itrafungo, which are quite effective. Itrafungo is not recommended for kittens under 900 grams/ 2 lbs.

There are a few anti fungal treatments and not all work well. Terbinafine 1% is best! Human originated ringworm is different from cat originated ringworm. It’s important to note you need to treat for 4 weeks straight and possibly longer. If you do not notice a change in 2 weeks you need to start a doctor prescribes oral antifungal in addition to topical. It takes at least a month to fully treat and you should not discontinue simply because it appears to be “going away” because it’s actually under the skin. Don’t be surprised if it returns even months later!

Hi, I really appreciate you made this video. I recently got a new cat in my home, due to unable to get any appointment within 2 weeks, I didn’t get him checked. (I did booked an appointment within that week but found out it’s only for vaccine)I bought the kitten from a second hand breeder but I was not worried because my friend also got a cat from her. I did quarantine them at first but the kitten seem active. It’s been two weeks they been together. And today I just found out my older cat got ringworm just like the kitten in the video he loses a small piece of hair. I did happen to have the topical cream at home and I put my older cat who got the ringworm at a cage now.
I am not sure if it’s necessary or keep them separate because he got it from the other kitten.
The appointment I booked last month is at next Monday. It’s was originally for my new kitten, but now I am not sure who should I bring it to check up.

What does the ringworm look like when healing? My kitten has on her ear and above eye. My vet gave me this exact medication to apply. We have been applying twice a day for about a week. She rubs the area with her paw after applying the cream, so it gets a little red and irritated. But, after like an hour or so I notice it’s flaking and turning into her normal skin texture/color. Also, she has lost some fur from rubbing on the two spots. Do you know how long it takes for the fur to grow back?

Tea tree oil is toxic for cats.Speak with a vet before trying something .Dont do it until you know for sure or is safe.I cured my cats with oral terbinafine.I had 4 cats with it.It was very hard.I say be patient, dont give up.Find a good vet to help you.It will go away.Took me 4 months.I had ringworm myself , still have a scar on my neck from it.I would try some topical treatment first. The treatment is hard on the liver of the cats. But I had a really agressive and stubborn case .Be carefull not to take it on the nails or scalp. For a human that is the hardest to heal.If you take it on the skin there are plenty of natural remedies that work for humans.Apple cider vineger is a good one, coloidal silver, bicarb soda, lavander oil,tea tree oil, iodine etc I know many because I tried them on myself.Maybe externally some coloidal silver would work for cats too.Talk with your vet. This is something that needs time to go away.Goodluck!

Hi, thanks for this. We live a bit into the country and apparently people like to dumb animals :( there is a cat that seems to have decided this is its home. The night that she came i brought her in because we had a sudden freeze and couldn't leave her out. But we have a bird and the house is a mess trying to find things to sell (been a rough year with no work plus my health has gotten worse so trying to not lose our home and just get necessities) anyway...but then had to have her outside but she stays right at the door. Bought a small bag of food and a bowl and she eats an insane amount, like she can't get enough. Looked in amazing shape, which is why I believe she was an indoor cat and loved...not sure what changed...but noticed a crusty thing near the back/bottom part of her mouth and thought maybe an abscess from a tooth or injury. But all the hair is gone once the crust came off, and now I see a tiny bald spot on top of her head :( her ears and back and everything look great...but...I literally have like $5 in the bank, so can't afford a vet or meds. Shes scratched up the front door wanting to come in🥺 its breaking my heart cuz I don't know what to do. I want her healthy and fixed cuz can't deal with kittens, and no ring worm and hopefully nothing wrong with her stomach to eat SO much....but I'm not even sure how to find the money to buy her another bag of food. But she's so sweet!! Anyway....I've just been looking for ideas or some cheap or free way to magically make it all better. I'm handicapped and love animals so much and the idea of a cuddly kitten or puppy is so wonderful...but...I know with my health and our money issues we couldn't do an animal justice, so I've curbed my desire. So now...just a bit stuck. Anyway...sorry for the babble...but thanks for the look at ring worm and I'll look for the cream :)

So we get them fixed and then some are free to be outside part of the day. I wasn't sure if it was mange or ringworm when we brought him in, but now my house will be full of it, and I just hope it doesn't hit all the others as the spores are on the hair, and hair tends to be everywhere no matter how much you clean. Were your 10 other cats hanging around the one who had ringworm.? I’m curious cause I have 2 (one is a kitten and is about 3 months old and the other is about 2 years old) and they hang around each other quite often and clean each other and my little one is always trying to fight the older one. My older cat caught ringworm. It’s not too bad but it has spread. My kitten hasn’t gotten it. I mean I haven’t seen ANY lesions on her or anything and I check her often. It’s been about 5 days since I started treatment on my older cat and she’s been isolated the whole time during these 5 days. Wondering why my kitten hasn’t got it. I know there’s an incubation period but do you think she’ll get it if she hasn’t already.?

Kylie, My kittens got better every day after applying the ointment. After 4 or 5 days it was nearly gone. I'd suggest keep trying the ointment, but if it doesn't improve in the next few days, your cat may require an oral treatment. Is the ringworm on a place your cat can lick the ointment off? Dry and flaky is normal, I'm not sure about red and irritated. I sure hope your kitten clears up soon.

Great question. When our kittens were infected, we put them in the basement storage room. It's a big room, so they had plenty of room to play and roam around. We tried not to touch them for about 4-5 days until it cleared up. Apparently you can get ringworm by direct contact with the cat, or by touching something infected. You bring up a good point that sanitizing the house would've been wise. Couches and beds would be what I'd worry about most, since we share them with the kitties.

Hello cat parents! 🐱 Did you know that ringworm in cats can be transmitted in two ways?
The first one is through contact with an infected cat or some other animal. Interestingly, humans can also be infected with ringworm and pass it to cats.
And the second type of transmission is through contact with objects that are contaminated with ringworm spores.
These objects can be anything from collars, blankets, food and water bowls, toys, litter boxes, as well as scratching posts.

This sounds good and all, but spot topical treatment is generally NOT an effective way to treat ringworm in pets. You’re only treating the areas you see, not the areas you don’t see. The problem is that it’s like playing whack-a-mole with this approach. There’s no substitute for oral medication (such as Itraconazole, Terbinafine, Fluconazole, or Griseofulvin), coupled with lime sulfur dips, and maybe some additional topical treatment for visible hotspots. You also need to quarantine them and clean and disinfect all the areas they’ve been to remove any spores that may exist. Spores can survive up to 18 months.
The “Fostering Cats” TH-cam channel provides some excellent scientifically based videos that explain in detail what works, what doesn’t work, and the research performed in this area.

My vet said cream doesn't help cats because its topical. Only oral meds help they said. My cat needed Oral RX Itraconazole. Was 106.00

I don’t think that’s true. I think it depends on the severity of the ringworm. My cats vet only prescribed lime sulfer dip (which has been a nightmare to apply). I asked if she would be sending me home with oral meds to treat the ringworm and she said no. If the cat needed the oral meds also then she would have sent me home with some.

Local animal shelter uses this same cream. They gave us a tube to go home. So I would expect that it is safe and effective if at least a first “less invasive or expensive solution”. Always take the simple approach first before you jump to big solutions that are frequently not necessary.

Video should be titled "How to spread ringworm for only 88 cents." Ringworm on cats is contagious 2 days before you will see lesions. New lesions take 7 days to appear. That means you will miss spots if you only treat part of the cat. You need to do full body treatments like lime sulfur dip or Micoseb shampoo (Microconazole plus chlorahexidine). This video is why people think ringworm is so contagious!

@@countrylivingwithemily7283 you were lucky. Most people who follow this won't be and will complain how it horrible feline ringworm is. And that is why cats with ringworm are euthanized in shelters.
I rescue cats. I've fostered hundreds with ringworm. Ringworm is self-resolving so just because you thought it worked doesn't mean it did. If you do nothing ringworm will go away. But if you treat it correctly, it goes away much faster.

@@darcyskittens8591 Slow your roll. Cats are euthanized in shelters because shelter owners are b/st/rds. One person said that a vet recommended this item. I hope you are treating the cats with care. I don't like leaving negative comments, but you are ignorant while believing to be highly knowledgeable. Your more dangerous than the shelter owners euthanizing kittens. You have "good" intentions. And I still MUST wish you eternal blessings and I wish them for the cats in your care. I feel like they will need all the goodness the universe can offer.
