The premier League should talk about the 115 charges first and stop trying to throw a smokescreen to blind people
Absolutely. This is a smokescreen and they are "hitting the ball into the long grass". Putting off 115 as long as they can, so City can continue to win everything while smaller, less wealthy clubs have their cases heard quickly and have been punished
All in good time you snowflake, all in good time
Exactly.
!!!!
Nothing to do with city. there haven't bought no one at the moment and there are for against it so for the 115 for the shit ipods newspapers you tube
PAYING 19m for a player independently valued at 800K by an independent respected body is not going to pass the sniff test
I’m all for PSR. But this is a stretch. PL can never prove the transfers were with good intension. They need to let this play out and see how long it lasts, this is not a sustainable tactic by the clubs who are is trouble.
They might not be able to prove good intentions, but they will have a very good chance of proving bad intentions if the evidence is there.
And that is all that matters.
And that is all they will be looking for.
I am extremely positive to what the PL are doing now.
My big problem with it, is that they should have taken all this serious many years ago.
They have only started now because they are totally terrified of the government putting an independent entity in charge of it all.
@@The_Judge300 this will open up a can of worms, what next banning transfers from pl clubs to pl clubs? This intrusion is next level, quite a stretch.
This is getting stupid. Can you also go after teams if they completely over value their own players. Dumb move.
The important question is whether this is against the laws. If the answer is no, then they have no right to send any warning to any team.
Wrong
Juve got docked points. Banned from europe. Paratici, agnelli etc... got 30 month bans from football.
So yes it's sgainst the rules.
Im not a fan of any of these clubs involved and at this point i can say this is insane gatekeeping. It's football's equivalent of a girl getting the "ick" because she's lost out on a relationship to a more desirable girl.

Also i disagree with Terry. Clubs dont have to prove they bought a player to genuinely improve their team at all. Why shouls they have to? Football is a bussiness. There is nothing wrong with buying players with Zero intention of actually playing them.
Could be buying them just to loan them out and sell them on after a season or two.
Thanks god there is Chelsea otherwise you have nothing to talk about !!!
Yeah Man! I've never seen Terry talk about ANYTHING other than Chelsea, I mean when he gets accused of being an Arsenal fan, that's just shit because it's ALWAYS Chelsea, right?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Could you be a MORE upset Chelsea fan, that can't handle ANY sort of conversation about your club that doesn't involve total and utter worship of it???
🤦♂
@natsterjam Uneducated people get annoyed. If you know accounting and business there is no issue. 😂😂
This is last week news ffs I thought something extreme had happened .. misleading headline
It does seem to me some clubs are throwing money at a problem to fix it rather than genuine scouting. As an Arsenal fan I know Edu and his team put a tremendous effort and research into finding the players they want.
well thats quite a sad indictment cos your scouting has been trash when the transfer wast under thier nose like declan rice
I hear what Terry is saying but its almost impossible to actually prove any wrong doings, proving intention is very hard
Its not.....

So you’re thinking there are emails that could be subpoenaed where the clubs clearly state the intention to pay each other inflated rates to help circumvent PSR rules?
I think you’re reaching.
The PL needs to expel Man City first to re establish their authority before worrying about more recent minor infringements.
What cheating?
A club can value a player at whatever price they wish and another club can purchase a player at whatever price!
There's no such rule that says that you can't pay £200 million on a player if you think he is worth that!
Prem should make sure to not forget about 115 FC and their cheating and tyranny!
Exactly. And the PL allowed all of this with inflated transfers, rich owners, and TV money in the first place. All clubs should contest.
You want it both ways? Are the rules good or not?
Wrong. Collusion is against rules. Intentionally acting to skirt the rules in bad faith can be against rules - something can be impermissible even if it's not explicitly written.
@@rakimrobinsonMCFC Rules are rules and unlike 115 FC we Chelsea didn't break any.
@Barbariansdagger are you sure about that? Didn't you self report breaches the other day or are we putting that on Ramon? Haven't you been banned from Europe before? Do you want me to go on? City have never been convicted or proven guilty on anything. EVER
If they enforce the fair value rule it has to work the other way too. Caicedo and Enzo shouldn't have been over 100 million.
That Chelsea falut for paying them prices
Enzo was a bit out of
And Liverpool bid for the same player .
Some of these deals are for players that have had a couple of games in the prem or zero games and are playing above Barnet value .
But my argument is how do you set a price for a player.
It’s more about is there any conversations that show it’s about I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine .
Only an idiot would have that email documented via emails and or txt ..
If a deal like that did happen it would be in private setting at a bar or restaurant.( as an example )
So the actual buying or selling at a set value is the clubs right ..
So for me this isn’t going anywhere if they have done each other a favour .. that won’t be documented as though it is ..
Chelsea is clearly running the league these other clubs can't do what chelsea is doing we have found so many loopholes we basically leading in everything 😅
Did you really post this?
Except actual football games and all the trophies in these Chelsea leading fans up the Kyber Pass
Why don’t all the other idiot clubs follow Chelsea’s model? They are clearly running the league and being successful…
What a gimp
@@philayele7786 Their shady practices and final finishing position clearly show they are running from a number of more successful league clubs
That's BS from the EPL, the value of a player is anything the other club is willing to pay. Why did they not flag the purchase of Caicedo at £110mln? The EPL is on a very tight rope here, demanding all records from clubs cannot be constitutional. They will certanly need court oeders which can only be obtained via a court order where they will have to prove that a crime has been comitted.
**PL*
If you can't get the name of the league right you don't get an opinion.
I think this whole argument is going in the wrong direction. I know I’m an American fan, so I try not to impose American ideas on an English league that I’ve enjoyed since I was a teenager. But, these PSR/FFP rules are not truly intended to protect clubs from bad owners. Let’s be honest.
They were put in place in the Prem to make sure the traditional hierarchy isn’t disrupted.
Look at the last 30 year of league winners…. It’s actually astonishing how little parity there is.
Roman came in and shook everyone, then City came in with the same hunger but better philosophy and all the sudden we have problems.
Set a damn spending cap that will make all the other leagues scared, then owners should be required to have an escrow account managed by the Prem that covers any debt accrued and is paid and restarted every season, but everyone can only spend up to the cap.
But I guarantee Man United fans would hate that idea. Because having teams other than just Man City who are allowed to spend as much as them shouldn’t be permitted. Manchester United should always have the financial advantage.
Because a cap would allow the Chelsea’s, New Castle’s, Villa’s, Forest’s, etc.. to also have the ability to compete with United and City. But that isn’t the actual goal of the Premier League.
You sum it up perfectly,
The UK is corrupt as fark
The good faith part here is between the clubs and the players. Remember, they are buying People, not groceries
Terry you cant pick and choose what rules you follow, if you allow this you might as well let Man City get off.
They have clearly done this to breach rules because its classed as 100% profit.
It does look as though these transactions are largely motivated to get around the rules. We're in danger of making a total mess of the league with all this. Just let clubs spend as they wish. City will be on top forever if we don't allow others to spend.
@@ianbooth3164 I agree to the point that others need to catch up with City, and by spending is really the only way.
Issue is, I can see the bubble bursting if we allow this.
Waht happens when these billionaires find another hobbie to money wash, these poor clubs will go under because normal owners wont be able to support the structure that has been setup by these.
The issue is, they put the PSR in to late, it should have been put in when Chelsea started to pump stupid money back in the early 2000.
City are too far in front now, and the only way to catch them is to pump money in.
What should happen is keep with the PSR and chuck the book at City, if it is true and City have broke UK laws then by law their owners will be kicked like Roman was at Chelsea.
So it will soon rectify itself.
@@MightyBallsTV Good points. We also have to remember in all this that we are competing against other leagues in Europe and the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have huge revenues because of their unequal tv deals.
If we go back to the pre-Abramovich days in the PL then in the first 12 years , Utd won it 8x and Arsenal 3x (only Blackburn broke that duopoly). It wasn't that competitive and in terms of the EUFA coefficient we were only the 4th strongest league. Vinny Jones had a career in it, ffs. We don't want to return to those days!
Now we have the strongest and most watched league in the world with the best players and the best managers. Do we really want investors to turn-away and instead invest in the Italian or German leagues ? I wouldn't have minded seeing Mappe at Newcastle, tbh, and it's only these rules that stopped it.
Portsmouth is a long time ago and mechanisms could be put in place to prevent bankruptcies from overspending (Simon Jordan, for example, had an idea about placing money in escrow accounts to cover for such problems). I believe Everton's financial problems largely arise from the stadium expenditure and that isn't covered by PSR at all (that is looking to be a great stadium, btw).
But now we're in a situation where teams like Newcastle want to invest and I think that will only make the league even more interesting. Instead, we're seeing teams having to weaken themselves to comply with rules that very much seem to favour maintaining the status quo.
City and Chelsea have invested huge amounts in their academies and playing squads so it's an uphill struggle for Newcastle to have to try and match them with 'organic' growth. History suggests it won't happen.
One other point, the league hasn't been competitive since the start of the PL era so what are we trying to return to?
When Chelsea apply most of their sales in the last week towards next year, as was their intention when they declared even Hall would be listed as part of the end of 23/24 year squad filing, will there be an apology? One of the deals people had as part of the “grand conspiracy” got hijacker’s away from Newcastle at the last minute by a club completely out of this conversation. So now there is just a focus on Villa and Chelsea. I’ll remind everyone on here that Chelsea fans endured massive ridicule back when our club was the very first to offer staggering money to try and get a deal done for a very young Anthony Gordon. Now you all pretend like everyone knew all along
Chelsea ownership also took a ton of abuse and ridicule for allowing such an obvious talent to leave the club for such a small valuation just 6 months ago. People openly laughed at the idea Dortmund could offer lower for Maatsen, and clubs like Munich started circling.
So now we are getting an insidious “charity” conspiracy out of Maatsen (who we tried a final time to get to stay) being sold essentially at his release clause, and Chelsea buying a very highly thought of England youth international with only 7 senior appearances for 19m. We will probably eventually double that if he doesn’t bed firmly into the playing rotation over 2 to 3 years. And we just bought an Argentine defender with only 6 Senior appearances for… remind me how much? …. Ahhh ….19m.
This isn’t a PSR “loophole”. It is the reality of the market created by PSR and people with little foresight. All they did was make even good players in their later twenties on decent salaries a practically useless on the market. Teams that sign them risk sinking everything. You don’t think we would “like” to have a Kimmich? Or that if PSR were not a thing, Clearlake wouldn’t happily shell out the money? Disingenuous parties trying to force cementing their place at the top of the game (and I include the Madrids of the world in this) through legislation caused this. Every time they tamper things get a little worse, and they go further to showing us what we always knew: entities like the PL are controlled by tribal entities primarily concerned with a small few entrenched teams they worship as if they have inalienable right to league dominance.
United, in particular, have been misplacing their rightful anger over the Glazers owning them by taking it out as attempts to limit everyone else for nearly two decades now. THAT is doing more to kill the league than anything else.
You’ve been owned by the Glazers: the people that famously made their NFl players re-use other peoples jock straps at one point. The 4 decade reigning champs as some of the worst sports owners that ever existed. I was a Bucs fan. I get your pain, but it is NOT our fault.
If every club was investigated the same they'd all be caught doing something.
That's like saying if the police had cameras in everyone's house they'd see more criminal activity. Would you sign up for that? Like people, teams are investigated when there's evidence of wrongdoing. All clubs transfers are monitored.
@@Starwars0405 it's nothing like that. Try another comparison
@paulbee2812 take it away altogether if you want.... teams are investigated when there's evidence of wrongdoing. All clubs transfers are monitored.
@@Starwars0405 it would be nice if the world worked like that.
It’s not just rivals… Rory Jennings has already been asking questions about these transfers looking dodgy as fuck… personally I don’t think they’re breaking any rules provided they’re paying true values on players and not inflated ones to cover psr
Tory greetings from centre park jennings is not a Chelsea fan. We certainly don't claim the tard as one of us.
The point is omari kellyman was valued at £1m but Chelsea paid £19m, he’s played 58 mins of PL football, also players going both ways for almost identical sums? 🤔 let’s be honest somethings fishy…..
@leeboglazersout1958 what's identical about 19m and 37m 🤦♂️🤦♂️
No rules have been broken. Teams are literally just trading assets.
The premier league is talking nonesense and surely can do nothing.
Teams can value their players at whatever they want.
The PL had absolutely no problem letting Brighton value one of their players at 100m + when Chelsea were trying to buy Caicedo. But now suddenly they care about player valuation.
Compeltely agree. It would make a little more sense if 2 clubs owned by the same person was selling dirt cheap, but that's under uefa and premier league clubs aren't allowed to be owned by someone who owns another prem club, so this is just silly
I understand EPL’s questionable view here but it’s also a stretch of their power. Chelsea and Aston Villa have no shared ownership. It’s Company A doing business with Company B. Aston Villa set a price on one of their bright talents at 20mil and Chelsea was willing to pay it. Overpaid? For sure. But many players were overpaid for. If they want to bring in an independent party to set the transfer prices and valuations on certain players… by all means go ahead. That will benefit most teams because clubs won’t have to overpay ever. Will the PL introduce that? I greatly doubt it. I think the PL should make a hard stance and do the investigation if they please. If everything comes clean and EPL and rival clubs have to accept it unless you want to change the rules. I believe Chelsea are playing by the rules. They’re smart and think outside the box but that doesn’t make it corruption right away.
Man go talk of your useless club man utd. Leave Chelsea alone. Stop been salty
Look at what city did, loaning out that player just so they could sign him. The Prem need to get their house in order cause alot of teams are exposing loop holes
I think everyone's under the spotlight now because of the issues with City
I don't understand why clubs selling and buying players to comply with PSR is an issue. Isn't that how it works? Would the League rather every team just sign sign players and fall short of PSR every term?
Just shut up if you have no content to create!!!

@@natsterjam Chelsea was one of the many clubs he spoke about... Not the only one 🙄
@@MOD3RNS4V4G3 Is he talking about Chelsea?????
Edit: That's a yes or no question!
If all the involved clubs are speaking with each other, I would say that's suspect and acting in bad faith. If it's individual clubs making the deals then that's legitimate and no wrong doing, except for the question of inflating player price which would be a separate issue and is a wider point of discussion atm.
In fairness to these clubs, I do think its fans being unhappy generally with the money situation in the prem and are just jumping on this one due to allegiance.
My issue with all of these ongoing PSR/FFP issues is that everyone is disputing the legality when actually we need to be discussing the social contract in football, of acting in good faith, within the set laws of the game.
Someone should investigate Newcastle & Napoli for valuing Isak & Osimhen so high
the Football League should take control as the Premier could not run a piss up in a brewery, while it's being controlled by Arsenal And Liverpool
The thing is that the deals have to be at market value terry. Otherwise it does effect the whole league as a whole by inflating the price of homegrown talent to pass psr in my view
The Premier League are a little late now. This is something they should have thought about before now. The horse has already bolted from the stable & they trying to close the stable doors.
You can’t eat your cake and have it too. PSR comes with accounting rules. Inherent in the accounting for these deals is clubs have agreed on prices since the beginning of time. How do you police it? What makes Omari (academy player with first team appearances) worth only £1M while Hudson Odoi who barely played for Chelsea was valued at more than €40M (and rejected Bayern’s offer)? Was then Villa academy player Chukwuemeka worth £20M in 2022 or was Chelsea trying to help Aston Villa in that deal? Letters like these are shredded by the legal department because it’s meaningless. Good luck trying to prove that Omari isn’t worth £19M.
It's not just Chelsea Terry title should include all three teams. On a side note Chelsea haven't bought a player they want in 2 years watch Saudi turn blue over the weekend
just get rid of psr just ban owners running up debt against the club
still waiting for City to get punished dont care about eny other new teams charges
I am a Chelsea fan and i honestly want Chelsea owners investigated for this deals. Kellyman £19million is insane! These owners are ruining Chelsea. Sack these owners! Chelsea owners are clowns and a cheat! Throw a book at them. I want them out if Chelsea!!! This is money laundry in my view!!!!

Hi Terry, you mention hypothetically about Man City being guilty of wrong doings, for example - but bare in mind, sometimes you need for example a person, a team, a club or an entire company or institute to BREAK the rules, in order for those rules, regulations and laws to adapt and change accordingly. It is almost nigh impossible to retrospectively legislate for future events and incidents. I would say just as long as the authorities adapt and change too, and we along with em that's all any of us can ask..........TBF!
Toothless EPL 😂😂😂 Chelsea is the boss no specific rule has been broken ....😅
I'm not even surprised if Chelsea cheated because they're the club who ruined football with geed!

Sounds like the Premier League is trying to force clubs to sell only to the top six! This could spell the end of the Premier League, as clubs won’t tolerate being told who they must sell to and at what price.

Sound's like another way control mechanism for the corrupt fa and premier league,
How can anyone value how much a player is worth, lol so it's ok for a club to pay twice as much for an English player just because he's English, haven't we seen this for many years Terry? How is 19 million alot of money for a young English prospect when in the same week they spent 58 million for a Brazilian prospect,
Anyone that agrees with this kind of control will be happy to have every aspect of their lives controlled, you know the thing you can't eat that because it costs to much etc,
It's just another form of control that the silly sheep can't see
I trust the gut feelings of the lawyers and other experts at the Premier League extremely much more than I trust Terry's gut feeling.
I would not be shocked if they have very good reasons for it.
As someone that have worked in economics and finances for many years and worked very close to accountants and business lawyers, do I know that there are VERY many ways to cook the books to you advantage if you want to take the risks of doing.
We have assessed/audited the books of many companies and the first years it was shocking to me how many that had cooked their books for difference reasons.
Taxes, loans, share value and company value are just some of the reasons we have discovered.
Many had also made genuine mistakes with no intention to cook their books.
Now, I just assume that we will find something and the question is just how serious it is and if it was done on purpose or it was an honest mistake.
They are all screwed 😂 if it smells fishy it usually is fishy!
lol certain teams can bend or break the rules and have smooth sailing on the transfer market with warnings - United can’t buy Todibo - a player they’ve been scouting for 3 windows before SJR invested. It’s hilarious that the blue teams claim there is a cartel 😂 It’s clear there’s rules for some and not for others.
How would man utd got away with it years ago 🤔
Stop crying a number of clubs have recently been able to break through the class ceiling in the premier league and pose a threat to the pampered top six. I support Aston Villa who may not have the ability to generate a lot of revenue but always balance the book each season unlike Man U who I believe is 800 million in debt after years of miss spending and financial abuse. Wouldn't you like to actually win a league when your rivals can actually compete at the same level or do you want to continue to be paper champions. It's going back to how it should be where management of a club will ultimately prove who are the best HOLLA BACK !!!!
I don’t mind swap deals provided they are fair both ways
I need to see the clubs that actually got better under these rules. Lol. The others are just reaching the glass ceiling.
😂😂😂 But what do the Premier League expect? They allowed this to take place, so teams have to look out for each other.
But heres one for ya.. the only evidence needed to disprove this false allegation. Is Villa would have made more profit selling us Duran for 40m. So, the claim becomes irrelevant. The league can not, nor will they do a thing about it. No one can dictate how much clubs can spend on players unless it between 2 clubs owned by the same person. I.e Chelsea/Strasbourg

Man United can't get £30m for an established player, but academy players of other teams are being bought for £10-20m in a financial restricted market. Wouldn't that lower player values? Yet someone would rather buy a player who won't be ready for at least 2 years and is a high risk signing for top dollar, rather than a player that would be an important starter for a reasonable price and low risk. lol you 3 can say what you want but you proving my point by exactly what your saying in these comments not even trolling
@supaalfo you the one who commented stupid
Your opinion would be more valid if you were supporting one of the smaller clubs. But you are supporting the team that creates the most revenue and has reached their perch without any PSR, APT and FFP restrictions. I wonder if you had this outrage when Man United was dominating the PL. Their dominance didn't seem to hurt the PL until they started losing. now all these rules are suddenly in place.
!
So you admit what hes saying is correct you just don't like who it's coming from.
@@Paketaqi Did you read the part where I said its his opinion? I admit that he is biased.
@Paketaqi the Hypocrisy of the top spending, most debt ridden club in the league speaking on financial restrictions that affects mostly midtable and below clubs as if they are the voice of the people going against supposed exploitation of a system that they championed which only benefits the elite and stops/slows any meaningful challenge to the hierarchy.
@@rakimrobinsonMCFCWe don't want to see any other club going into administration
Another episode of clubs behaving badly
Buying a player for 19 million and selling him a year later for 35 million is not cheating... Just good business by Chelsea💙💙💙💙💙
If you're not apart of the red cartel you haven't earned the right to do that.
@@rakimrobinsonMCFCwhat about the blue cartel 🤣
@@rakimrobinsonMCFCRed cartel doesn't do shady business like this. Always the blue plastic sides trying to find loopholes.
@Jammon23 they don't need to. They already did before the rules. Any club looking to be top has to find loopholes. The rules don't allow the top to be challenged.
@@Themaskedcannon ostracized and labeled as cheaters for trying to challenge the set system. The blue cartel challenging the red monopoly.
hehehehe. absolute circus
You have problem with fc Chelsea???You talk all the time about them...tall about your team what's happening there You talk shiiiiit
Chelsea the favourite word in this transfer market. Chelsea sells views
What kind of shit is that? 🤣 when rivals have nothing to cry about, they remember Chelsea exist. Just leave us alone and let us find loopholes you didn't know even existed. Best club in the prem we are 💯🙌💙💙💙
Really 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What are u smoking
Yer got no fans...Yer got no ground.
If you found loop holes there's no rules 🤷🏻♂️
If there’s no “rules” it’s not a loop hole then is it 😂
