Everyone is extremely critical of England right now and deservedly so. Last night however, there was something different and I don't think I've seen it before from an England side. Every player wanted it no matter how sloppy they were. It takes a certain kind of magic for England to come from behind. Even against a lower ranked team England has a habit of letting games get away. It takes some magic to turn a game in the 95th minute and Jude found it.

Then what? We take Kane off for Gallagher, play all out defence. Nothing else happens until Toney snatches at a half chance with 8 seconds left.

Racist.
@@katatatatafish Are men and women equal?
We need to stop looking at ourselves as an underdog against Switzerland. The games on Saturday and we’re already shitting ourselves. Giving them too much respect will hurt us.
Nothing brutal about these ratings if anything they’re too generous
I'm not quite sure why you're as defensive of Guehi as you are, but I'm all for it. Always loved him from his single season at Swansea and have been very happy to see his rise.
He was slow to react on the goal
Saka is not that good, I dont understand why people think he is good, Just marketing
Did they give Palmer a 7 for doing fuck all? Gave the ball away more than he gave it an England player. Did nothing but pass backwards, rarely got passed his man. They are focusing on the rare time he got passed his man and not the amount of times he was pushed back.
I don’t blame Palmer but it demonstrates that Saka isn’t the problem.
Sakov.. is so layzee
I was against starting Trent because I wouldn’t say he’s too reliable defensively however after Kyle walkers defensive frailties recently Trent seems the clear choice to me .
Saying it was a 'fairly inadequate' performance isn't sugar coating it, more like dumping an entire truck load of Lemon Sherbet over it.
Fucking hell... Rory looks rough!
Got that vaxxie look going on.
On his 4th booster 🤣
Everyone is extremely critical of England right now and deservedly so. Last night however, there was something different and I don't think I've seen it before from an England side. Every player wanted it no matter how sloppy they were. It takes a certain kind of magic for England to come from behind. Even against a lower ranked team England has a habit of letting games get away. It takes some magic to turn a game in the 95th minute and Jude found it.
Bellingham had one moment - the mark of a special player. But he did absolutely nothing for 94 mins. 6/10 at best
Sleep well last night Rory?
I’ve yet to see Palmer do a single positive thing. I don’t get the hype.
Pen merchant tbh.
Bellingham didn’t add much but comes through in the big moment. Get him in the 8 to try and fix the other problems going forward and he can still find himself in those positions to make an impact
Ngl Jude is my type of player he might not turn up every game or dribble like Messi or work like Kante or pass like kroos but when it’s time to turn up he does
Got to be honest, I was there too, and whilst the England fans did keep singing, there was a LOT of booing too...
We need to play fast and aggressive.
I truly believe we need two up top. The best we played was the 10 minutes Toney and Kane played together. A second striker automatically pulls defenders attention, if they mark Toney, Kane has space and vice versa. Toney in the box gave Bellingham the Space for the goal. Exactly the same for Kanes goal.
Then what? We take Kane off for Gallagher, play all out defence. Nothing else happens until Toney snatches at a half chance with 8 seconds left.
Can we point out:
Rashford Wythenshawe
Foden Stockport
Mainoo Cheadle & Gatley
Palmer Cheadle & Gatley
Gatley is a 5 minute walk away from both Wythenshawe and Stockport. And is my home village.
We’re just goated
Rory's voice is gone. i can imagine the shouting he was doing in the stadium.
"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the Party". Come on England!
Rory, you look like you've ages 10 years after 120 minutes of watching England.
Bellingham is just an English Scott McTominay. Arrives in the box for an odd goal, but other than that is bang Average. Look at any game he hasn't scored in, and he'll have ghosted altogether I guarantee it!
🤔 he was laliga pots and bundesliga pots, golden boy winner something Scott mctominay has never done all at the age of 20, he scored decisive winners in both Classico’s and kept England in the euros, envy and jealousy is bad for your health mate
Did you even sleep Rory? Christ mate
Smuggling his luggage under his eyes
Player ratings don't matter when they're being played out of position and for a manager they have lost faith in
Palmer gets a 7 and rice a 6? 😂😂😂😂 palmer did shit all
Agreed, Rice should have gotten a 5 imo, poort on the ball
@@edrahimovicsomeone commented Rice’s stats. They were actually surprisingly good, in terms of what you want from your DM
@Bert-lw1ot that's why stats aren't everything
Disagree with their rating for Rice, but Palmer was awesome.
@@Bert-lw1ot eh, might just be that Southgate told him to sit deep and disrupt? Think he was avg, hence then 5/10, but you may be right if what is expected to from him was to sit deep and disrupt then lay off to someone more creative? Funnily enough, think trent would've thrived in this game, even though mainoo was good
Man of the match was a Slovakian player, but the best England player was Mainoo -- clear
Walker has never been mr reliable, he's always been poor
That's racist.
Lmao. One of the most respected defenders in all of world football. You're a clown.
Never have him back on this channel.
As a neutral, England was very lucky to win.
Last minute against a team that should be beaten comfortably
Late night eyes on Rory boy
Rory saying trent is an obvious replacement, check the other video where rory says he categorically cannot defend...
Bellingham - “Historic” I love that
You two are great content together, proper yin and yang situation. You should team up more often.
Im sure rory already made the video title “Gareth southgate must get sacked”
Switched off after the Trippier rating of 2. Absolutely daft
I get the injuries but not bringing James and Chilwell was a horrible idea.
Apparently they can "see" things we can't see on television so actually England played amazing and everyone was happy and supportive...jesus wept
I wish I could feel the same about the national team, I am completely indifferent to it
Do we think Trippier has done anything to practice playing as a left back when we knew Shaw wasn't going to be fit? Crossing, outside overlapping runs etc?? mental if not!
If not at least get Gomez on
Gomez was flawless at LB for Liverpool all season and qualified for UCL as a result. Even kept us in the title race. Makes no sense to bring him and not use him
@@kennwan9917 Southgate is too afraid
@@gaiusjcaesar09 also provided quite a good outlet on the overlap for a right footer. Unfortunately though, changing personnel doesn’t negate dreadful instructions/tactics.
Why didn't 0 shots on target in 5 games Saka not play?
Is he injured or just tired again?
To not have Ben white and saka on right is criminal we would of won every group game
From my point of view the bench changed the game. Slovaks do not have bench and this reduced this team quality. When Duda, Kucka and Strelec left it had the very bad impact at the mid of the team.
Englands best defensive fullback is walker
Englands best offensive fullback is Trent
But you want both you get James
Englands bwst offensive fullback is Shaw but hes injured.
Gomez should be a shout for CB, he is so underrated.
and lb.
Unilateral love....... hahahahaha, you may have been at the game but your bloody deaf if you really think that was the case.
No manager ratings?
English players are propped up in the PL by genuine world-class foreign players - their ability is inflated.
So there’s never been any genuine world class English players, only foreigners? It’s clearly team structure and tactics, not individual ability. You don’t even need world class players to win a tournament let alone a game if the foundations are in place, it just helps.
What are you smoking. Dumbest take I've heard all year
and what about Bellingam being player of the season at La Liga?
Matt that’s one of the dumbest comments ever made. Well done 👏
If you think Palmer is starting the next game… Well I’m not sure what to tell you.
