  • The Camino Primitivo - A Camino de Santiago. In this video I head out to northern Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago. There are many different routes of the Camino de Santiago, so for my first walk I chose to do the Camino Primitivo.
The Camino Primitivo is the original, the first Camino de Santiago and the path is from Oviedo to Santiago de Compestela.
This is part one of my Camino video series. This isn't a Camino de Santiago documentary. This is a video series that I made that documents my Camino Primitivo.
If you're planning on walking the Camino then I'd like to recommend the Camino Journal. It's a useful journal for walking the Camino de Santiago includes Camino Information, Spanish Phrase Book and Blank Lined Notebook and is available on Amazon here: amzn.to/40NGrhp

Hi. Just starting to watch this as I'll be walking the primitivo in Oct all being well. I walked the Camino Frances in 2021 when no International travel was permitted and so I pretty much had it to myself for 800km. I loved the quietness and so I'm hoping the primitivo will give me that quietness again. Thanks again for this series, really enjoying it so far. All the best, Martin. (I've also subscribed)

    Hallo Jason,
Alice, Christina, Jason, Konrad, Marco, Stephan, U.a.

      Jason

I walked the Camino di Invierno this year which is close in distance to Primitivo (268 kms) but I was in a hurry and finished it in 9 days. I'd like to walk the Camino Primitivo next year at a much slower pace and take photos both ground and aerial as much as I can. I did not bring my drone as it would just delayed my plan to finish it early.

Hey Simon, as Jason started the walk, I was thinking about how he (or anyone) can across all of Great Briton by foot. Was thinking he may want to do that too, but then again, you have to deal with the UK summers! Jason has introduced me to your channel too. Liked the video of you guys hiking out in the Carneddau range. Even in that weather, it looked like a lot of fun! Cheers:)
