CAMINO PRIMITIVO de SANTIAGO! This video is Part Three of my journey on the Camino Primitivo, a 320 km hike through northern Spain.
In this video, I leave the La Espina in Asturias (northern Spain) continuing to hike the Camino de Santiago - Camino Primitivo route. This video covers days two and three of my 320 km hike.
The Camino Primitivo is the original, the first Camino de Santiago and the path is from Oviedo to Santiago de Compestela.
This isn't a Camino de Santiago documentary. This is a video series that I made that documents my Camino Primitivo.

Yeah, it was a tough go as the body learned how to adjust to distance hiking but the views and time for reflection made up for any struggles along the way.

Oh my.....!.....pain issues walking!....It's healthy though....I hike out here in Iceland and come across pain issues walking as well......I also liked in the south of Spain......hang in there.....keep telling yourself It's worth it.....for your health.......!......#1 nature and hikes are the best!.......😎✌🏻🌻🌿🍀🌷🌾love listening to you......😅✌🏻

Really enjoying this video Jason. It's a shame you did not stay in that restaurant/hotel in Campiello. It was one of the highlights of the whole trip. Lovely people, great food. I then walked down to stay in Pola which was a delightful town with a river through it....but then 'cheated' and got a taxi back up to the start of the Hospitales in the morning. Big difference between us - I would never start walking until well after breakfast...why so early? I have never understood this but I have also never stayed in an auberge!

Long trail hikers experience all of that the first month or two. Hard to sleep, tired, pain, etc. hang in there. 👍🏻

Loving your videos. Thanx for the adventure. I took the path to the left, longer with the steeper ascent. Beware of the cattle rancher at the top of the mountain. Don’t impede his cattle, he will get very upset.
