Wonderful!! Looking forward to the rest of your walk! The Camino is calling again and I can’t wait to see the rest of the Primitivo from your perspective. Thanks for sharing! And Buen Camino! 👣
You did 950m of incline today. Strong start. Look forward to what remains of your Camino. I walked the Norte last Sept/Oct and will walk the Primitivo in aut 2023.
Hi Nadine, really love your videos, I have watched a lot of them with great interest and anticipation, i am walking the Norte from Santander taking the coastal route to Boo, thanks for that video, then hopping down to the Primitivo as far as Lugo and then back up to the Norte on the unofficial Camino Verde, I'm off on the 25th of May, hoping for a bit of good weather especially for the mountain stages. Well used to rain as I am from Ireland, Anyway thanks for all the videos. Ultreia
San Juan de villapenada it's a nice albergue. Unfortunately i don't find a place there. But i will go back😁 Even if i walk twice already the Primitivo.
falling really sucks. I went on a zip line excursion on a rainy day in Alaska the road. was slippery and down I went,it was also down hill. I have since purchased a folding hiking pole that weighs very little. Is that something considered not needed? You hike a great deal, and would know, Dont get hurt Nadine we need you! Really😘
I always try to find a stick to walk with when I'm on the Camino (I love walking with a stick and I always get very attached!) The only problem with this is that it takes me at least several days to find one... and so I REALLY could have used one on the start of this particular Camino!
I walked at the end of July, 2021. The summer on the Primitivo can be a mixed bag, but because a lot of runs through the mountains it's generally a little cooler than other parts of Northern Spain (and that was definitely the case for me, it was chilly in the mornings and evenings for most of my walk!)
I think several days can be hard, because the route is a lot of up and down! But see how you feel day to day and you can always do short stages and/or take a rest day and that will help if things are feeling difficult. I hope you enjoy your journey, the Primitivo is wonderful! Buen Camino!
HEY NADINE. CARL AGAIN.WOULD YOU HAVE A LIST OF PRIVATE ALBERQUES OR HOTELS ALONG THE PRIMITIVO OR HOW I CAN RIGHT A LIST. DID THE BIG AND CROWDED ALBERQUES ON MY FIRST FOUR CAMINOS. THIS ROUTE LOOKS TOUGH AND AT 72, I WILL NEED GOOD SLEEP. THANKS BUEN CAMINO
Hi Carl! I don't have a complete list of private albergues or hotels, but if you check in the video description of each video I made from the Primitivo, it lists where I stayed. Otherwise, a good place to ask this question might be the Camino forum; someone there might be able to point you in the right direction! www.caminodesantiago.me Or, I like to use Gronze, which lists pretty updated accommodation options for villages/towns along the way: www.gronze.com/camino-primitivo
I wish wish I could watch your videos. It sounds like you do such a great job. But the lack of image stabilization makes me nauseous. I have liked your set videos.
i am sorry, but videos in which the longest parts are looking at your face instead of the camino is not for me, i want to see the way, the view and the path and not your face
Sorry to say that I don't think my channel is for you! This is just the style of videos I create; but there are lots of other Camino channels out there so hopefully you'll find one that you enjoy more!

Ohhhh so loved your video!! Such lovely memories! Thanks for taking the time to video and share.
The cafe con leche gets me every time!! Thank you for including a shot of that!
My favourite moment is the snail following the Camino.
A nice reminder to take it slow and with his piligrim shell on his back that not all paths are straight!
Loved the video. I like trying to recognize the villages.I walked through a few years ago. Look forward to your next day!! 👍👍😊

Nadine, what were the dates of your hike? I’m trying to get a sense of the seasonal weather. Thank you

I’m sorry for the shakiness! But there will be more “still” videos coming soon, I’ve almost wrapped up the daily videos from my most recent walk.
