I've been training for about 5 years now. Running, burpees and push ups have done work for me that's elevated the gym progress in ways i never imagined
@ARevb.673 They are essentially a full body exercise. They work your arms, chest, core, and legs all at once. I absolutely understand getting gassed by them, burpees are brutal when just starting out. But by setting a strict regimen and doing them consistently, you will see results. Your stamina and endurance will increase, your muscles will grow, and depending on how much force you put into the push up and the jump, you will also notice more explosive strength when you try to use it. I would highly recommend giving them a legitimate shot.
The dude in the 1.12min that is cool had me sweeting just watching him changing from one to the other targeting different muscle groups and difficulty just adds whole new levels of fitness and training thinking out side the norm
I disagree, there is a lot of unrealistic stuff in that book. Specially about progresion and volume.Good in the pre internet era for learning new exercises that can be done with no equipment at home.
I did the deck of cards for a year in county. Aces 15, Jack, Queens and kings 10. 5 decks and then 700 sit ups every night. Went in 125 and came out 155 with 4% body fat.
Just now discovered your channel… brilliant content in this vid! I didn’t even know there were so many variations of push-ups! Thanks bruv! Subscribed.
Depends on your level. I would start at 10 sets of 10 push ups and 5 sets of 10 pull ups or australian pull ups 10 sets of 10 and mix some squats in there with bodyweight. You can also do supersets like 10-15 dips then 8-10 chin ups and to this with pull ups and push ups too for multiple sets. I would say between 100-200 reps per exercise is a good way to start. But you can also start doing weighted calisthenics if you don‘t like doing that many reps.
You ever been going through some pain and noticed the difference in intensity, well imagine being locked away and around danger That intensity gon be crazy
.-I'm 74, and workout 6 days a week. 3 heavy workout days, and 3 cardio days. But I'm very curious about these guys in prison. They aren't eating anywhere near what guys are suggesting we eat for muscle growth. I'm sure they are not on juice. The prison food isn't 140-160 grams of protein a day. Not much fruit etc. So, how do these guys get so big?
Did doing that many pushups in such a short amount of time result in smaller muscle size? When talking about endurance vs strength vs size many people will claim that performing too many reps in a workout session will only result in endurance but will decrease muscle size gains... but seeing what these guys do in prison, this seems unlikely.
Because part of this is you are being lied to about what you think you need to build muscle. Including all this protein you think you need. These guys eat crap food but guess what, its the same crap food everyday without changing. Which takes a lot of guess work off your stomach, liver, and pancreas. Plus threat of violence causes higher testosterone production.
If you are an exercise enthusiast, you just need a small room and a chair you can do aerobics pushups, lots of of exercises, never in my life I never visited a gym, I just do my pushups almost 200 everyday, aerobics a just simple chair where I elevate my feet and legs,, my built is far better than gym users
Tjho 😂 l've been doin this 600 - 450 pushups every day since 1978 . When l started with 30 × 20 it took about an hour. At new age 65 l'm not this full loaded but thu l now comblne the stage with horse stance l would claim l'm doin better those days, but have to admit - never ever had any funny inspirig variation, just simple standards.
Further proof protein is the biggest load of bollocks in fitness and just a marketing gimmic You seriously think people in prison are getting 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight 😂😂 They ain't even getting 0.3 grams
very true. lol. i definitely got bigger after only being down only a month.... and i was mainly doing pushups and squats......oatmeal.....a lot of it....and the regular meals....no comissarry for real
Verissimo. In quasi tutte le prigioni del mondo cibo scadente con poche proteine e verdure ma molti carboidrati.Il lavoro durissimo di push up è ciò che fa la differenza!
There is only one God and this God would crush you in a flex or strength or whatever battle.. You are far from being God. Not physique or anything on this earth can make you even Slightly comparable to God. Humble yourself and grow on your character, love your neighbor as thyself and the true God with all of your heart soul and mind and THEN it could be that you will be accounted worthy to live with God for all eternity.
And they have shit tons of time. And it makes em tougher on the yard. And they banned weights cuz dudes kept killing each other with said weighs. I hint anion wide free weights are banned now.

I’ve started with burpees now adding pushups to my regiment. And I’ve seen more progress then when I had a gym membership lol

What’s the best reps daily for pushups,pull-ups and sit ups?
Depends on your level.

We hear of some inmates stealing food to others… the fittest wins
Simple, it's genetics.
@@ramakrishnashalom9004 Bulltish!
Elevated testosterone levels. It's unknown why, but prisoners have much higher test levels compared to the population.

High volume body weight builds muscle. Going to failure as well builds muscle
These people don't have anything else to do apart from excercising, eating and sleeping
Navy SEAL Burpees are the ultimate workout
It's not about drive and determination so much as where to get proper nutrition in the prison system.
💪🏾
How they manage to maintain their protein intake inside there? if they can manage it there then how and why we are struggling outside?

Aka The “Pen Swole” method.
How camera is in the prison🤔🤔🤔
Easy mate 😂
Pay the officers to bring stuff in
Or smuggling
interesting 🤔 how they don't do the push ups all the way down as if to not get exhausted or reach failure quickly and be able to do more reps.. 🧐
Theyr doin shorties for extra time under tension.they get u massive
I do both full range and half reps to completely burn out the muscle👍
Cool
What lab made this monster wtf bruv
What's the music?
It is from Dbz budokai tenkaichi 3
Bih got that dragon ball z music
I was focused on video, being taken in prison.
None of that gym subscription shit either

How old is this, i guarantee the kids today don't work out at all. They lazy.
How many push-ups do guys in prison do each day? 5,000 is what I heard from a trustworthy source.
I just did the 25 25 push-up routine the pump is crazy
Had no idea they got phones/cameras in jail/prison 😂

They can get extra food more protein and calories carbs fats. There's ways trade junk food smokes weed.
Testosterone will do the Job.
They all forget to do legs
Prison in the US means black people 🤔
Anyone see nothing but half reps?
They in jail lol its probably they 50th workout that day
Half reps are the way to go
Why do you think prisoners are so ripped aside from training?
Elevated testosterone levels. Prisoners have higher testosterone compared to free men.
Bet they get good workouts in the shower to

A lot of these push-ups wouldn't get you out of boot camp.
U mean a lot of people in boot camp can’t do these push ups.
Military fitness training is a farce. It's for vetting, not for actually building strength.
No such thing as prison style workouts. Seen these same routine in gyms around the world, mostly boxing clubs, just a nick name nothing more
Dude at 8:10 !!!
“Handstand Pushups” he says while showing a dude doing REGULAR PUSHUPS-eh yeah ok there-makes no damn sense
is that the dragon ball budokai teikaichi song i hear in the background?
yes, teikiachi 3 to be exact
