I'm currently shooting a Canon G7X Mark II. A pretty good camera it is. It's convenient due to its size, and has just enough controls for comfortable use of manual mode
I went with a Canon G7X III and I'm in love with the thing. It's small, comfortable, and always there when I need it. I have the lens ring assigned to aperture and the rear dial to shutter speed. It is a perfect pocket camera and will probably be replaced with the mark IV whenever it comes out
I have to throw in my vote for the Fujifilm X70. Same size as the Ricoh GRIII but has a tilt screen. The 16MP X-Trans II sensor with Fujifilm's film simulations means great JPEGs SOOC. As a Fujifilm X-T1 and X100T owner it's my favorite sensor. Finding a good one is tough but a few months ago I found one in excellent shape with a warranty. Bought from some company called KEH Camera. =)
I got an Olympus tg-4 for 200$, mostly for underwater photography, but the macro is insane and it's shockproof and waterproof, good for me because i am clumsy
I feel like smaller phones are more intentional as a smartphone, with just a terrible battery life ofc. The reason why they don't sell well is because bigger phones have bridged the gap between a smartphone and a tablet, as an all in one device that sits in the pocket. So, for anyone buying a new phone, most eventually buy whatever fits all the bills. As for the smartwatch hot take, I kinda agree. I am really not replacing my phone with my smart watch. I need it as a companion, that along with showing me the time whenever I lift my wrist up, can do some extras just in case with all those health features. A 3-days battery life is a solid ask, IMO.
The cost of Fuji cameras is crazy. I want one so bad maybe one day. Rn I just want to get back into the craft and capture moments. Never thought I’d say it in 2024 but canon Powershot not sounding too bad lol
I remember when i got a fuji x100f a year ago when the x100v first started getting popular, i got it for a nice 900 plus tax, then months later the fuji x100v prices skyrocketed to 1700- 2000 plus, same pattern happened to the fuji x100f. I ended up breaking the lcd screen and then selling the camera for more money lol. the scalping is crazy. ended up getting an xt-4 after haha and i'm as happy as ever with it
it's not about the megapixels. It's about the sensor size. That's why the Ricoh and the Fujifilm are vastly superior. (BTW Ricoh also has film simulations).
My Lumix ZS80 can zoom nearly 100X (with the right settings enabled) and it has exceeded all of my expectations. Get one before some influencer discovers it and makes the prices blow up.
As someone with almost every camera in the Fujifilm X line, the x100v is an amazing camera, but way overpriced. For the same price you could get the X-H2 (my everyday camera) which has swappable lenses, 40 MP, 8k/4k recording, and film simulation. Pick the better deal
I just sold my canon RP and I would like to switch to a smaller camera that fits in the pocket and perfect for street photography, my budget is 500euros, any suggestions?
I think there's somethign wrong with my Ricoh GR iiix. It is taking terrible photos! Can someone please look at the sample photos in the short I posted. I need help I spent so much money on this thing after watching this. Should I trade it for a fuji cam 100v?
There are! The whole fuji lineup is worth consideration, so depending on your budget we can help you find what you're looking for. Video on this topic coming soon...

Fujifilm X100V. It's an outstanding camera (I have the X100T) but thanks to TikTok they currently go for about $2k ($600 over retail new). I've never seen a camera sell for so much over retail. Earlier versions like the X100F and X100T are good options along with the Fujifilm X-E2/3/4 which looks similar and is about the same size.
Absolutely agree, the pictures are great, the RAWs are very flexible, JPGs are good and you can't beat the 1.8 24mm lens for night shots, without forgetting that it still can punch in up to 100mm at f 4.9. Great little camera.
@@depht_ well depends on whether ur the type to carry multiple lens or not. The Xt30ll fits into your hoodie, or those deep cargo pants etc.Plus nobody really carries the camera in their jeans pocket. Mostly it is a fanny pack, small backpack etc

It's funny to me how people will go from awful point and shoots and jump right over MFT to ludicrously expensive APSC models. There are so many amazing deals to be had with MFT cameras that offer way better features and comparable image quality to the APSC offerings.
1. Canon PowerShot ELPH190 IS

Hi there
I just wanted to ask how's the autofocus?
Give a try to the Fujifilm xe-4. Cheaper, smaller, same processor as the x100v/xt4, and interchangeable lenses.

I still use my Canon GX9 Mkll, one inch 20MP sensor and 3x zoom and great RAW support.
Omg Fujii is amazing
Last photos were by far the best. They were superior in every way
The price reflects it too 🫠 the X100V is hard to come by these days.
