I have the 2013 F6B & 2007 1300VTX. I got The F6B to go back and forth from work(80 mile round trip). I was using the 1300VTX around town until I got used to the F6B. After a few weeks of the F6B, i have not ridden the 1300 in over a year. Once you get used to it, its more powerful and nimble than the VTX!
TAKE NOTE SIR: The radio volume does adjust automatically to the amount of noise, wind or otherwise, if you set it up for such. I own a 2013 and it is awesome. I wish I had cruise but Honda screwed me for jumping the gun. It's on the 2015 now, but I don't regret buying it since I have had 2 extra years of enjoyment than if I'd waited. It is still over 800 lbs so reverse would be nice also. Honda will add that next year, then I will trade up and marketing has done it's job getting me in their dealership once again, but I will never buy anything else. It is a Lambo on two wheels. Nothing compares.
save the money buy the full and get the trunk removal kit then you get a bagger with all the bells and whistles i think you even keep the intercom plugs
That was the best assessment of the F6B I've seen to date. I currently ride the 2015 F6B deluxe. It does have auto volume for the stereo system so it "tones it down" as you slow down. I did get a taller windscreen as I ride mine to work almost everyday and have rode when the temps were in the teens. Grip heating was priceless. This is my third Goldwing. I've owned the 1996 GL1500 and the 2001 GL 1800. I've only got 3 thousand on this one, but she's my baby and I love her. Good video. Semper Ride!
Just to point out, yes AVC (automatic volume control) is on that unit...its on mine, and its a 2013 standard. I also think you missed the USB connection in the left saddle bag, and the Aux into to your stereo in the left side glove box
He’s a newbie on the f6b Yes it has loudness controll if you turn it on off,low medium, loud. No reverse says about 95 pounds in dry weight. And no Cruz controll on the ‘13
I have this bike & have been riding for 48 years , I wasn't impressed with this review . Cornering on the F6b is more than great ,maybe you don't have those hair pin turns where you are but is works really well, I wish you showed the room in the saddle bags which is more than enough for 2 going to eastern Washington for the weekend ,Power ,smoothness & comfort for both is more than you would ever expect for a motorcycle . It has great style ,power & reliability , Come on it's a Honda
the reason why it is more comfortable than the Goldwing is that the Goldwing is all about the.......wait for it.......PASSENGER............don't be fooled about it, 2015 has louder pipes and cruise....
Ak47, I've got 2 Harley's and looking at this bike for my next touring. Does the F6B have a sissy bar or backrest accessory that can be purchased. My wife wouldn't ride unless she can sit back and relax. Also, is there a tour pack that can be mounted for extra storage?? Definitely going for the 2015. Cruise control. Thanks for the video and info.
I had a Honda NM4 for 1year and a half, great bike but with DCT and all, it feels indeed a lot like riding a car and that made it a bit boring to. So next stop was F6B and F6C (new Valkyrie). And yup F6B felt like the NM4's big brother, the F6C however is something else and for me a lot more fun to ride. So finaly swapped the NM4 for the F6C.
i really love this bike and i really really wanted this bike hell i just saw it for £7500 but compared to a pan it falls seriously short even if you get the gl1800 and remove the trunk which would be a far better option as you keep cruise and reverse. Even then the pan is better. The f6b is a very big bike so i would expect it to have similar capicity to the st1300 panniers as it is its bigger brother instead you lose 10L per pannier which sucks. You can get a stereo for the pan put the screen up and hear it perfect. To make a new goldwing with a short screen and stereo but no electric screen is frankly stupid. Some of us riding abroad do quicker speeds so how will that go with the wind hitting our helmet trying trip our heads off whilst drowning out our music. bigger paniers and a electric screen and it would be awesome either that or just get the gl1800 as it wont look stupid with a bigger screen
If you guys ever get the demo days from Victory, ride their version of the goldwing! (idk the name lol) Dude shit you not i never felt more comfy on a bike.
The driver at 4:18 appears to be either intoxicated (as in high on Meth) or just doesn't give a damn for anyone, including him/herself. I've usually followed these jokers to the nearest intersection & let them know how disrespectful their driving is. Most times they say "Sorry, I never even saw you coming" but every now & then I get a "F#*k off"! along with the verbal abuse one can expect from Neanderthals. Glad you rode on to share this amazing bike. Honda RULES my life of riding.
My Victory Kingpin will blow the F6B away. I just bought an F6B and there is no comparison. Among other things, I am already thinking of keeping the Vic and selling the Honda.
you missed the storage compartment above your 'nut protector' ow and its not narrower than the goldwing, why would you say that ow besides the lacking reverse, these didnt have a GPS and cruise control (untill the '16 models), heated seats and optional heated grips... better research before actually doing a review full of wrong or incomplete statements?
Bad review I would not subscribe to this grading the “bikes volume”, gee wiz did you ever think of looking at the dash or reading the manuel regarding volume high low or off when your going up to speed? You had it on “off”.772 or 100k still is not a bother.
The bike is a total waste of time. Do not buy one. Had one 3 months cant sell it quick enough. Boring useless tourer....thanks to seat, screen, bars. Boring sewing machine engine needs a radio to keep you awake. Plus headstock problems. Plus road noise.
I'll maybe, or maybe not, be the first to say that that's a great look for a long distance touring bike! Truly.
I have the 2013 F6B & 2007 1300VTX. I got The F6B to go back and forth from work(80 mile round trip). I was using the 1300VTX around town until I got used to the F6B. DaveyF6B yessir your right
Reason the rear brake is so good is it actually utilizes a splitter. By pushing your rear brake you are using one of your fronts as well.
Luke Ledoux......linked the word you're looking for is linked.
one of the fronts? one of the front calipers u mean? interesting
InstaBlaster.
@@mml1224 moto guzzi was doing that way back in the 80s...
Yes, and Honda@@mottthehoople693

sounds good, just hope Honda keeps making them
save the money buy the full and get the trunk removal kit then you get a bagger with all the bells and whistles i think you even keep the intercom plugs
Good review. It has a great feeling rear brake because it's linked to two on the front caliper's pistons.

Out of the 3 bikes which one is your preference..thank you kindly

Awesome review Brud.. Great for all us regular guys who don't like too much of the tech shit.. That stuff gets old really fast..Loved it
My eye is on this for my last bike, just got to find the most pleasing one
I so want one of those . Had an HD ultra couple years back . Not really interested in Harley's anymore after riding them for 40 years
The F6B has linked brakes is why when you put on the rear brake, it feels like the bike stops quickly.
He’s a newbie on the f6b Yes it has loudness controll if you turn it on off,low medium, loud. No reverse says about 95 pounds in dry weight. And no Cruz controll on the ‘13
my dad has an 85 goldwing super sweet bike. super smooth. and it even has not of the first electronic clusters
like the review and comments like 6:38@, where specifies how it rides on highway, nvr knew that!
the rear brake actuates the front on some big touring bikes. that's probably why it feels so strong.
The brakes are linked together
not just big touring bikes, my Blackbird has DualCBS too
Do you know if you can put floor boards on the bike as well as a heel and toe shifter?
I have this bike & have been riding for 48 years , I wasn't impressed with this review . Jwa A he actually said it corners really well and was impressed by it in the video
I almost spit Miller Lite out of my nose when Shai Labeouf came on: "JUST DO IT" Lol.
I got the 2013 model also. This is a great bike! Only thing I dislike about this bike is that it doesn't have a speed control.
I put a Throttlemeister on mine. Not as as perfect as a computer controlled option but a heckuva lot better than a hand cramp. Worth the $.
You done good, Shia. You done good.
Excellent review simple straight forward
the reason why it is more comfortable than the Goldwing is that the Goldwing is all about the.......wait for it.......PASSENGER............don't be fooled about it, 2015 has louder pipes and cruise....

Definitely going for the 2015. Cruise control.

You might look for a Gold Wing, as it has the King seat with the Tour pack. Great touring machine for 2up riding.

The speedometer on this bike kinda reminds me of a speedometer in a car.
NintendoFan69 (Son Goku) oou qq
is this automatic? what is the price on this?
More than I can afford
17 to 24k I should imagine.
Larry is that you?
What are you using for gear? Like the looks of it
Looks good. Can you clutch up a wheelie on it?
That was a good video. You laid it all out and no BS. How does a 8 year old bike have such low mileage?
This was 7 years ago lol
how much?
Just curious about the fit. What is your size or height?
Its not for you shorty
how tall are you and are you flat footed when setting on the bike
good rewiew can you hear the radio at speed above 65 or so thanks
sl1950 sl1950 you can hear the radio perfect at 105 mph
wow thanks looking better so far how do you like youre,s
Everyone keep disliking until he reveals his bike lolol
Too bad you can't. Its been over a year, lad.
+Charles “The Hammer” Martel Some of us know what his bike is.. and goddamn is it sexy as hell!!
something might be wrong with audio cause mine adjust volume at speed go into your audio settings
what gloves are those?
good bike, thanks for share
Radio auto volume control is a setting.
"you don't have a yield sign bro!" LOL
It’s the Honda Pacific coast bigger brother
Great review video compared to some others
awesome review.... thanks mate
How do you compare this to the Honda nm4?
i really love this bike and i really really wanted this bike hell i just saw it for £7500 but compared to a pan it falls seriously short even if you get the gl1800 and remove the trunk which would be a far better option as you keep cruise and reverse. Nice review got a good idea about main points of the bike.
The brakes are linked...
Study the bike you are going to review I ride this & you didn’t do it justice
If you guys ever get the demo days from Victory, ride their version of the goldwing! (idk the name lol) Dude shit you not i never felt more comfy on a bike.

Bring back the ST1300, give it a stereo
My Victory Kingpin will blow the F6B away. I just bought an F6B and there is no comparison. Among other things, I am already thinking of keeping the Vic and selling the Honda.
I have a Corvette ZR1, smokes both, what was your point?
When is the bike reveal coming out?
Keep your eyes open!!!
Why?
I rode one of these yesterday. It was unremarkable.
Do these have cruise control?
Deluxe models do, also a center stand
review new Honda CBR 250 RR
you missed the storage compartment above your 'nut protector'
ow and its not narrower than the goldwing, why would you say that
ow besides the lacking reverse, these didnt have a GPS and cruise control (untill the '16 models), heated seats and optional heated grips...

you make a beautiful bike and you put in yellow indicator lenses. yuk
ahhh the world of aftermarket can change that for you. (my dad doesn't understand why i hate them so much lol)
front looks like a car turns me off.Prefer Valkyrie version same engine
Ugly reRend on that bike. Looks like a scooter
when your bike has a radio you know something is wrong
Itzak thats funny ...I love it especially the radio
Only if it doesn't have an off switch.
Just push the button for a couple seconds and it turns off.
The bike is a total waste of time. Do not buy one. Had one 3 months cant sell it quick enough. Boring useless tourer....thanks to seat, screen, bars. Boring sewing machine engine needs a radio to keep you awake. Plus headstock problems. Plus road noise.
You sound like a old nagging wife
