Just want to say THANK YOU! Was able to change out our bad AC Fan Blower with this video. Way less expensive than the dealer or mechanic woulda been. Some interesting body positions required and elbow grease, but not too bad. Thanks for detailing it the way you did and getting that camera to show all the fasteners, screws and parts. Really helpful 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 Blessings to you!
Super awesome! I’m glad it helped. Every repair I need to do I always look for “how tos” on TH-cam and sometimes it’s hard to find detailed ones! Thanks so much!
Good video! Helped me alot! Saved me 150$. I realize why they charge so much to fix your car though everytime i do this kind of stuff, that back mounting screw is a BITCH! Took me 30min just to figure how to get that little booger out. Definitely take that one out first. But your video really helped.
Thank you so much! I was able to get the blower motor out all on my own, this is a long shot, but do you happen to know where the resister is on this car? I need to replace that too and I cannot find it and everything else online is useless. Thank you!
I've lost all power going to the blower on a 2016 Renegade. Everything seems to be right at the fuse box. Any suggestions on where to start? Maybe a module or resistor?
I haven’t done research on that resistors or module but if it were me and the fuse box is good and you checked the wiring at the blower but no power. I would research if there are any resistors attached to that and then I would just check the wiring from the box to the blower
@@DouglasCasey-h9ydid you figure out. My mother 17 renegade blower motor goes on one min 2 min later off... I noticed when I push on the plug it turns back on then 3min later starts dying down to low...
Once you remove the blower you can spray the cleaner through the vent down there and the drain is of course under the vehicle approx in the middle. I would recommend doing it that way rather than spraying up from under the vehicle. Good luck!
@@fpvhawaii808 do you think i will be able to see what i`m spraying at? I`d be more comfortable if i I could see the evaporator rather then blindly spray 'down there'.
I would suggest searching it on google. There is a resistor under the hood and a mini fuse under the steering wheel column. A google search with give you the description, map and location

I had to put the passenger seat all the way back and go in upside-down to get that back mounting screw lol
Your camera phone is your friend to find exactly where that screw is.
Great instruction video. Easy to follow along
@@nightmare-ow3jn thank you. Glad it helped
Thank you thank you thank you!!! It was super helpful and I was able to replace the blower motor by myself, you rock!
So awesome! Glad it helped!

Is it possible to access AC evaporator after removing the blower? I want to clean and disinfect the AC.

@@paweczosnek8813 not likely but that’s the actual instructions when you buy the cleaners
Could you tell me the part number of this cover underneath the glove box ? It become quickly shabby. Thanks in advance !
Sorry I don’t actually know
@@fpvhawaii808 no problem and thanks for your quick reply.
Thanks dude!
Hell yah! I’m glad it helped!

Where is the blower motor resistor?
