I think this particular TH-camr does that to be recognized more easily, because a lot of channels show Witcher3 clips. But it becomes useless if more and more people undress Geralt… Maybe it is kind of a flex too because it shows you can survive the game without the added benefits of the armor.
@MR-rj2qw yeah, that could be a reason. In any case, I think that for a youtube video, it looks better showing Geralt with some nice armour. But that's just my opinion.
I've had that game since it came out, still haven't gotten around to playing it. But now that I'm retired and have a bit more game playing time it's on the list for this winter.
Good for you man, hope your enjoy your retirement. I too recently played this game for the first time back in August, and it’s been a blast. 240 hours in and still not done. My recommendation is to play with mods, just the graphics one or some minor tweaks, the immersion is incredible. Also play on the 3rd difficulty, the easy and normal one is a bit too easy.
@@ucoananh3054 Thanks for the advice. I love playing with mods. No matter how good the game there's always a few things where you say "nope, not doing that, let's find a mod..." :)
It is theorized that the Vampires know when the Worlds will collide again so they can get back to their homeworld. And the Year could maybe be 1358, which is why this Vampire was waiting for it.
I both hate and love this quest. On the one hand, it is hilarious. On the other hand, I heavily identify with the bookish monster that just wants to be left alone to sleep, so I hate that the only options are to either leave the quest unresolved or to kill the vampire.
@@QualityPen Higher vampires can't be killed. The distinction of lesser vs higher vampire is not super clear (in fact, there's even a logic error in the game involving katakans, because Geralt tells a Redanian soldier that they are higher vampires in the Oxenfurt Drunk quest but he tells Anna Henrietta and Damien in the Blood and Wine main story that katakans are type of lesser vampire). Considering you can kill this guy in a few seconds, he must be of the lesser variety.

"Shouldn't have disturbed him"? Geralt, you mopped the floor with his ass and then handed it to him. Based on the outcome - HE shouldn't have had an ATTITUDE about being DISTURBED.
It's in the Novigrad sewers. There are two easy ways to get yourself down into the right part of the sewers. 1. There is a door that leads inside the structure that makes up Tretogor Gate. Follow a path from inside there and look for ladders that lead down. 2. During Zoltan's gwent card quest 'A Dangerous Game', Geralt follows a swindler named Duke down into the sewers. Go down there but don't confront him just yet. In both cases: while in the right sewers, use witcher senses to find an Aard-able part of the wall.

Why so many witcher 3 videos with Geralt without armor and shirtless. I don't get the appeal of that look.
