@Crom Do you even know what 'judge' means? Giving a compliment does not equal judging in any way, shape or form. Katherine Ryan is a great comedian, but she has been using this set of jokes for at least a year, so it's totally possible that it's not the first (or even the fifth) time that the original commenter has heard this bit. At this point, maybe she doesn't have anything new to say about it? But she noticed the dress, which is, in fact, spectacular. Or even if this is her first time hearing this set, what's wrong with complimenting the comedian's clothes?

@@gavster023 depends on your definition of single, you can still hook up while single but I can understand how single parents will want to stay single because building new relationships while taking care of kids is hard and then seeing if you can get to a point where you're comfortable with them meeting your kids. Kids do take priority.

Its all in the delivery. She seems nervous which makes the audience nervous. But I agree, her jokes are solid.

I saw her do this routine on another show and thankfully the audience were much more responsive.

Bad comedy makes people mad. Although some of the comments seem to come from a personal place.
Some people are tired of seeing a bunch of mediocre lady comics getting a platform only because they're female.
@@TheBiggerDavo Excuse you. Female comics are quite rare in this industry and there isn't a single female comedian I watch who got their platform from "being female." I find a ton of female comedians funny and just because Katherine isn't doesn't mean you need to generalize man. There's a ton of comedians who are males that I don't find funny either and that's life. I'm not gonna go comment "oh my god, another dick joke, boo. Men aren't funny."
