I have a question. Could it be a case of finding men attractive when you are in the mood, but not the rest of the time? I'd say that is much more practical and sane than the opposite. As a cis man, I'd say our default position is "turned on and ready" in our youth, and we have to thoughtfully mature (some of us) out of that "instinct".

@@harrr53no, not really... I find only certain men attractive, who are generally pretty faced and toned (and it doesn't matter if they're tall or short, at all, or if they're rich - someone displaying status or possessions can be completely off putting).
Also I love creative, unconventional, kind and cute guys, that also makes them attractive instantly. It's not about the mood for me.

Legit. I generally don't wear makeup unless for special outings, and my jaw is pretty square and defined; I have been misgendered as a man so many times! Though also most of my head is shaved, so that adds to it. I wonder if I had long hair again, would this still happen

I have a real weakness for great speaking voices. I mostly enjoy the sound of men's voices, in spite of the fact that I'm only physically attracted to women. I find a lot of women's voices really annoying. This woman though, I could listen to her all day.

My assessment is that a HUGE part of why U.S. women's voices can sound very weird (even to my ear), is because we experience so much crap all our lives, and we're trained as girls to only speak in whatever our upper register is. Women with large vocal ranges and natural bass resonances are viewed as a threat to male supremacy and we're "taught", through violence and threats all our lives in one way or another, to hide our true voices. I'm a singer and I use my full voice when I'm relaxed, but if I feel like I'm not safe, which is a HUGE part of our country, especially today, I notice my voice changes. Take this or leave it, but believe it's my truth.
@@victoriabaker4400 I hear you! I have a naturally pretty deep voice, speaking and singing (very low register alto). I was in a job where I had to interact with the owner of the facility on a daily basis. Every time I would say "good morning" in my natural voice she would say something like, "what's the matter with you today?" or "someone's in a mood this morning." I had to put on this fake higher kind of nasal voice all day every day, or she would go around telling my clients that I was in a bad mood or something. Using this voice all day every day for 15 years actually caused vocal damage because of how forced it was. Perhaps the reason I find most women's voices annoying is because I was forced to put on this very fake, mentally and physically uncomfortable, girly voice all the effing time. This perspective gives me some food for thought. Thank you.

@@Saihione What I meant was that generally women are more good-looking than men imo. In my experience till now, the number of women I found with beautiful faces was higher than the number of men with handsome faces. Pretty women catch my attention, so I find them attractive in that sense, but I never have sexual thoughts about them, or any thoughts about lesbo sex. I find them beautiful but not sexually attractive. .... But that's not the case with men, I find men as sexually attractive, or just simply handsome, or both. And I have sexual thoughts about them, and thoughts about hetero sex. That's how I know I'm straight.

It's so interesting with attraction because it seems to work so differently for different people. I'm queer, and I find SO MANY people of different genders attractive, it's a bit embarrassing 😆 It has also happened once that I didn't find someone especially attractive but ended up kissing her anyway and she was a really good kisser - and then I was attracted to her 😅😂
And then there is the other end of the spectrum, who almost never meet someone they get attracted to. So different!
Lol you still have plenty of choice with 1 or 2 you find attractive a month. Try almost never in your 33 years old life find someone attractive, truly I think I have never been in love. I had 2 or 3 crushes but they were quick and unrequited (thank god now that I think of it- they were red flags :p)

She's typical of many promiscuous women who can't understand why the quality man they want won't commit. They know she's been ran through so they'll never take her seriously.
